Just ok! Service was friendly, food underwhelming! We ordered shrimp & fries, Shrimp Po Boy, shrimp tacos & mahi mahi. They shrimp & fries were disappointing. At $16 be prepared for about 6 small shrimpies and as many fries. Green bean side was cold & bland. The portion size of the mahi mahi consisted of 3 bits of fish...again disappointing. Po Boy was pretty good and a bit larger. As other reviews have stated the fish/shrimp tacos DID NOT have much fish/shrimp in them at all. Being right by the ocean this stop unfortunately did not meet our expectations. There is hope though...better portions and a bit more flavor in some of the dishes would make this a worthwhile stop. read more

Twisted Shrimp is our new favorite jam when we visit Islamorada! The owners/staff (Natalie) are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We stopped here for a quick bite on our way out of the Keys, and our craving for Fish Tacos was completely fulfilled. A very nice young lady knew her items and explained the ingredients clearly and kindly. She tried to sell us on the shrimp tacos, which they seem to be very proud of, but we had to fulfill our cravings and didn't think we had room. We got one order of their Tropical Fish Tacos and one order of the special, Baja Tacos, which have a kick to them. WOW!!! SO GOOD! If we ever return to the keys, we will DEFINITELY go back there with a big appetite and try the shrimp tacos! read more

This is the perfect place to stop on a road trip through the Florida Keys. We stopped for a pound of lightly battered (gluten-free!) shrimp with a side of fried okra, and both were done to perfection. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, huge, and obviously incredibly fresh. The bite-sized okra pieces were tender but not soggy, and both were excellent with the cilantro line sauce. The staff was friendly and engaging, and their food is much more polished than a young restaurant would lead you to think. I hope to return to try more! read more

Stopped here on the way to Key West and we had to make a stop on the way back home to Georgia. This was by far the best seafood we had while on vacation in the Keys! They also have the best server! We stopped in for lunch on our way home from Key West after reading Yelp reviews. I wanted to try a different restaurant and forgo having lunch at one of our fav. Places. My husband reluctantly obliged. Place looked looked clean and it was empty when we arrived. Too bad they allow dogs to take over their tiny restaurant. Within minutes of our food arriving, a couple walked in with their massive, smelly dog. Then a second couple enters with 2 huge hairy, dogs. This place quickly turned into a dog park. Unacceptable for any restaurant. They have an outside sitting area. Why can't the dogs remain outside while their owners order their food? In regards to the food, the shrimp roll and shrimp taco were unimpressive. I think Shrimp Roll had tiny diced up shrimp, smothered in mayo sauce. Shrimp tacos were just - meh. Shrimp Po Boy and calamari were good. Service was fast. Next time we'll just keep on driving. read more

Stopped here with my pregnant girlfriend while on vacation just exploring the Keys. The customer service is great, they are very friendly. Made us feel comfortable. We ordered the mahi fish tacos and they were ready pretty quick. I would recommend getting them blackened it adds more flavor. The people are so so so nice, food is so delicious and the place is a perfect upper keys dining spot! The cheese sticks were crisp and the sweet sauce was so good on them. We both had shrimp tacos - the shrimp is the best! The mango salsa makes them even better. I had sweet potato fries that were out of sight and my wife had the regular fries and loved them. Best meal yet in the Keys!! Smoked fish dip and chips is amazing - loved the fish & chips, shrimp and crab cakes - all were very lightly coated so you tasted the fish not the breading. Jumbo shrimp were so yummy! Beer and wine available- super friendly staff - it's good food so they were busy and we enjoyed a pre-meal beverage outside on the patio - but when you're on vacation enjoying warm weather who cares about waiting a few minutes??
