My boyfriend and I went on a Wednesday around 11:30 and it wasn't too crowded. The menu was just the right length for those who like having some options without being too overwhelmed and the server was very kind and patient. For drinks we got the peach mango caffeinated refresher and the Lamont cold brew both of which were fairly priced and very tasty. The breakfast quesadilla was a great choice for those who like it cheesy and savory with a touch of sweetness (and lots of spice if you decide to dip into the included pineapple salsa on the side). The toast was substantial and thick despite being a single slice, and we loved the jam and butter. My boyfriend's breakfast hash was a perfect vegetarian option (coming from an ex long time vegetarian) with shredded leeks, a perfectly light romesco sauce, and a plethora of other hearty veggies. 10/10 would come again though maybe not on a weekend due to how crowded it was the first time we attempted to dine here. The only practical issues is just how horribly cramped and limited the parking situation is, so beware you may plan a nice brunch here only to find out there is quite literally not a single place to park. read more

I have never gone inside this restaurant. Instead, I order by phone. Each time, a very nice person brings it out to my car. I will miss Jason, who is moving to a very friendly Texas. For breakfast, I like to have banana pancakes, which rates in my top two pancake restaurants. Their scrapple is a good accompanying meat. It is not greasy, like other restaurants. I don't need to take heartburn medicine here before having scrapple. Try their baked goods (scones, muffins) for a snack or freeze them to have for another breakfast. We went here for early breakfast on a Sunday, around 7:45am, steady flow of people and most tables were full. Service was quick, great with coffee refills, and everything was yummy! PROCEED HERE WITH CAUTION!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Food tasted old and like it had been sitting out for days, I'm pretty sure I got sick from this place. As I was waiting to use the bathroom. I could see in the cooks window, and I could literally see the omelet station stuff just sitting out at room temperature not even on ice next to the hot stove. Then I see the guy making omelets drop the tongs and pick them up and continue using them. Ugh gross! If that wasn't bad enough the service was bad and took forever to order. The server says "Justin is too backed up so we can't take your order yet." umm ok?? Sooo..... I guess I will wait 50 mins to order than? Can I at least get a drink? We love coming here for breakfast but I really wish they would consider moving to a bigger location. The parking lot is brutal and rarely has spots open. There is always a long wait and even when we do decide to wait, there isn't anywhere to stand or sit as the waiting area is so small. I watched about seven cars come and leave within five minutes just because of these issues. When I searched hidden gem this is cafe I found and what a gem it is. The staff are warm, the decor is welcoming, and the food is really good. The pancakes are so light and fluffy with so much taste. The take home goodies are made fresh and so fairly priced. So glad I came across this cafe and will surely return. Great parking too. read more

Had another great breakfast here with the family over the weekend. We all over ordered but there's just so many yummy things to choose from on the menu! I ordered Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Bun and lemon scone for the table to pick on before breakfast came. It was a bummer that they brought these items out literally two minutes before all of our breakfast items came out. I do wish we had more time to just chill and eat pastries first. Three of us ordered the Biscuits and Sausage Gravy. It was so good, huge portion, and adequately spicy on its own. It's a brown sausage gravy, not white like I've previously seen around here. The husband ordered the Brisket Benedict with corned beef in his side of potatoes. Again, a huge portion and so yummy! My daughter had a blueberry pancake and enjoyed it that day and the next! Busy on a weekend but the food is worth it. Service was pleasant and it's cute inside.

First, let me say the food is good. It's a small menu but I've never had a bad meal. It's not the kind of place you go for just bacon and eggs over easy. I would recommend going during the week and avoiding weekends. The layout inside is bad and the wait is always too long for me. Last time I went they had open tables everywhere but had a 40 minute wait and wouldn't even seat people. I can understand if you are short staffed but seat people and let them know... much easier to have a cup of coffee and wait than to stand around in the parking lot waiting! As others have mentioned, parking is tight. Best bet is to go during the week if you want to try it. read more

Food was excellent - I had a special that was a frittata- something I know I would not make at home; and my husband had the sausage gravy. He had a cinnamon roll to start with and I stole some of that - SO good. I don't love that their breakfast potatoes have peppers in them but applaud that are big enough to pick out if you don't like that. Hubs thought sausage gravy was too fancy and he spotted an onion, which is a big no for him (what can I say? He likes mine best). Great service and convenient payment QR code on the receipt. Following a recommendation, went here for a late breakfast. Since it was a Saturday, the wait was about 25 minutes but it was totally worth it! The sausage gravy and biscuits was so satisfying, yet didn't leave me feel gross afterwards which was amazing-it was like a nice warm hug. The cali eggs benedict were also super good. The side of breakfast potatoes were deemed "criminally good". I think my partner and I experienced euphoria as we both cleaned our plates. This place is soooooo good. When I tell you they actually have the BEST pancakes in the world, it's an understatement. I have had a lot of pancakes in my life and WOW. They are so amazing.
