Went during the weekend. The wait was long, at least an hour or hour and fifteen minutes. They gave you 5 minutes to check in once you got the text but it takes you 5 months to get to the desk because of the small waiting area. Young lady at the hostess table tried to take our spot away but I held firm that we were waiting for the ppl in front of us. I'm not one to be rude and assert myself in front of others who are waiting. We sat down and our waitress was amazing. I got the french toast and my mom got the bananas fosters pancakes. I came in and placed a to go order at the bar. After waiting over 40 minutes, my whole order was cold when it was brought out. The bartender took it back for a remake and majority of the new food was still cold if it weren't the same food I sent back. The manager asked the bartender what was going on with my order but she did not acknowledge me or apologize as she continued to have a conversation with the bartender about the kitchen staff being tired from the overwhelming crowd they had. Beautiful place to dine with your family. The manager is nice and friendly not to mention the staff they work there heads off trying to please the customers. My husband and two adult children eats there mainly on Saturdays. My husband and i favorite meals are the steak seasoned and well done with grits and fried eggs. I which if they had some steamed veggies. The place is nice an super clean, I am a very picky person so when I say nice and clean you can believe me they even have a DJ. My husband and I are Pastors and feel very comfortable the atmosphere is welcoming. Be prepared to wait or order online before you get there. The wait can be anywhere from 30-45 minutes long. Honestly.......I'm so disappointed in this location. My husband and I used to come here all the time when they first opened in Conyers and everything was great and we loved coming here......but not anymore. The last 4 times we have eaten here it has taken over an hour to receive our food. This location is so insanely slow and they NEVER poach an egg right. And they are constantly having to apologize. And I want to mention that our server Jasmine....who was great.....was getting so frustrated because none of her food was coming out. This is not fair to her.....because she was actually doing her job. We made sure to tip her well, but I'm sure plenty of other people don't because they assume she's part of the problem. It makes me feel bad for the servers. This location seriously needs to get its shit together. Because Conyers needs a place like this.... but if they continue this way I have a feeling they're going to close before they know it. If the vibe of the place and my waitress wasn't so nice, I would have definitely given 1 star. The place is very overcrowded because of table placement. The photos online are nothing like what you get in person. I ordered the salmon and grit. Grits were very thin, watery, and lacked flavor. The salmon was seasoned well, but it was definitely a thawed piece of frozen fish. The quality was lacking, but so was the quantity. My bowl of grits may have been the size of a cereal bowl, and my salmon was the size of an old school pager and the thickness of my phone. For the price, that is unacceptable. read more

OMG. The joy of using Yelp and finding a spot that hits all the criteria for dining out with family. I don't do a lot of reviews unless I'm blown away or pissed. #1 Kristi was amazing. She made the hour wait worth it. I was happy to pay the gratuity and add extra. Very attentive and dripping with charm and grace. Then we got our food. We ordered quite a bit so that we could taste a variety. I will hit the highlights. Fried green tomatoes and beignets were excellent. Pancakes were top notch. Biscuits reminded me of my childhood. Made with lard and butter. Best dish ordered at our table was the biscuits and gravy. The knife work on the potatoes, onions and peppers had a very skilled hand. Great presentation. Value for the money is 10 out of 10. Party of 6, 5 appetizers, coffees juice alcoholic beverages 6 entrees standard gratuity plus extra tip was a tad over $200. I will be back. I would say the one thing that would have got this to 5 star is fix the specialty coffee machine or hire a real barista. I prefer people over machines with my food and drink. I normally visit this location and the service was great. Today 8 went and it was terrible. The server (India) was rude, coffee was cold, fries were cold. I had to send my burger back because it was cooked wrong. It was just a terrible experience. I will never visit the Conyers location again and not so much because of the food because I visit there often and the manager always makes sure to correct any food issues.
