The issue was consistent differences in service. Check your cameras from May 21: At the register after we paid -- Staff's expression went from flat with us to instant big smile for the next customer in line. Around 3:11 PM -- Staff #2 walked past my mom, got really close with no "excuse me," no smile, almost bumped her. Around 3:28 PM -- Ordered another beer to test it. Service was curt and salty. As soon as we left, same staff was immediately smiling and laughing loudly with a coworker. During food runs -- Compare smiles/energy when delivering to different tables. The warmth gap is clear. Staff appearance that day -- Didn't feel up to professional standards for customer-facing roles. Owners, when those three front-of-house staff are working, you risk losing business from minority customers. I was only here less than one hour. Imagine what happens seven days a week. The worst pizza I've ever had! We were looking for vegetarian, no egg options. First, they took forever to take my order. Then they forgot to give me the table number but blamed me for it instead. She recommended pesto, sun dried tomato pizza. It came out super duper dry. The cheese was burnt and oil was dripping. The twisted bread stick was even worse. The attitude, wow!!! One of the most sour women I have ever encountered. I'd get out of the service industry if I were her. We had some questions about the pizza and she was not willing to help. She acted like we were a huge bother right from the start. We ordered (and paid for) half of our pizza with extra cheese for our 2-year-old. When it arrived, it didn't have enough cheese for a standard pizza, let alone one with extra cheese. I went back to ask the woman why it was so baren of cheese and she said it slid down during slicing. That was an excuse. You can see from the photo that it just didn't have much cheese. She didn't offer any remedy to the issue. A refund, remake, or even an apology? Nope. The pizza was ok. Not great probably due to the insufficient cheese. We ended up ordering a second one after we finished. It was a different woman this time. Again, we paid for extra cheese. This time, they came through. I get a business being busy and having a wait. I was told a 40 minute wait which is fine but an hour and a half later I finally got my pizza. While waiting in the dinning area with no one sitting inside, multiple tables were messy with crumbs all over and a tub over piling with dishes on the trash can. After getting my pizza's and bread sticks I got home and one pizza was still raw all over in the dough, one was close to burnt. The bread sticks also were still raw. Thursday Night. Two girls working super hard, but this is just ridiculous. Ordered a salad, mini pizza, and a bowl of chili. With drinks and tip it came to almost $60. After we ordered she said it would be 20 to 25 minutes. After 30 minutes, I checked and the pizza wasn't even made, much less in the oven. They rushed out the salad. Never again. Food is decent, quite pricey, but decent. I got a veggie calzone...though I will never understand these so called Italian eateries that think it's a calzone without ricotta. That's a Stromboli, folks. It was large, the veggies were essentially raw, but the sauce was good as was the crust. Hubby got the lasagna and he liked it. The young girl who made the calzone was very personable and engaging. The other lady, at the register, not so much. She wasn't exactly rude, but she seemed to feel 'bothered' by us. Amazingly enough, dh wanted to go back. So on St Patrick's Day, we stopped in for lunch. The lady at the register was, again, bothered by us being there. This time she was alone when we first got there, I noticed later that a young girl was taking her break. No greeting, no smile from the employee...when dh ordered the lasagna, she gruffly stated 'Let me see if we have any'...then walked away, came back and said nothing. She sighed and looked at me as if I should know that there was lasagna. So I ordered the veggie calzone again. Nothing to write home about on the food. It's decent, but if dh didn't want to go, I would not pay the prices for the mediocre food and especially not the service. When the food was brought to our table, she practically threw it on the table. I did overhear a lady who came in with a gentleman speaking to the grumpy employee trying to cheer her up. Wow. So I called at 9:04 PM; all info online points to them being open until 11. A woman answered the phone and no hello or anything; just says I'm not taking any more orders. I asked why not. Her response was because I don't care, I don't want to and won't and hangs up the phone. I've never heard anything so rude in my life. Good pizza, good prices, very quick! We noticed the big "pizza" sign on our way back from Yosemite and stopped in for a much-needed warm meal. The interior reminded me of my home-town pizza shop -- pizza at the front, arcade in the back, and friendly folks at the counter. The Hawaiian pizza was decent but nothing out of this world. I would have appreciated if it were cooked a few more minutes to give the crust a little crunch. The cheesy potato wedges with bacon and ranch were spectacular. Highly recommend. My partner and I started going to Pizza Factory (PF) last year as an alternative to Two Guys. I found their crust more tasty and coming from the Northeast US, having the crust taste like fresh baked Italian bread is the thing. However, it's not all roses after all for PF On three separate occasions we placed our order online only to arrive at the pickup time to find that our pizza wasn't even started. When you're driving three hours from the east bay only to have to sit in their parking lot another 30 minutes is unacceptable. And do they comp you for their mistake like a free dessert or free small pizza of your choosing, no they don't. Both my partner and I agree that they use too much sauce. When you have to use your napkin to wipe away a pile of sauce off your crust then you know that too much sauce has been used. And we even asked in the special request section online to go easy on the sauce and they didn't. I get it, you're short staffed. The girl working there said there was only two of them. If you're short handed, slow down and serve a quality product. Don't sell your customers short on quality, make them wait for a good product and offer drink specials while we wait.
