Passed by this place many a times and never thought to try as I'm not a big Corndog person but when I get a chance to connect with others over food - I'm there! The Two Hands hosts were AMAZING! With such a large crowd during what seemed like a rush time (I mean, it is The Annex) they were very attentive and did their best to make sure everyone got what they ordered and it was FRESH! I ordered the dirty fries and the TH favorite, Potato dog with 1/2 beef dog & 1/2 mozzarella. The fries were my favorite and the Corndog was a bit much for me. I have been a fan of K Corn Dogs so I had to try them at Two Hands. One word, DELICIOUS! A friend told me that the most authentic dog was the potato dog rolled in sugar and it was AMAZING! I highly recommend trying this combination! The cheese pull was my favorite part! I will say, be prepared to wait in line as this location is new and the excitement naturally brings a long line. My wife loves corn dogs; having attended state fairs growing up (and eating corns during every visit). When my wife learned about "Two Hands Corn- Dog", we literally hoped in the care (that same hour) and resolved to have dinner of corn dogs. We ordered a "mega set" of five corn dogs...like I said my wife loves corn dogs...beef sausage spicy, mozzarella, half cheddar half mozzarella, classic beef, spicy sausage as well as kimchi seasoned fries. The main concept with these corn dogs is choice...you can chose the inside, which can be classic sausage, beef, spicy or non-meat options like mozzarella...then you can chose how that inside part is coated and topped. It may sound a little complicated but this is what makes these corn dogs not your state faire kind of corn dogs. In general, corn dogs are not on my radar as an option for lunch or dinner but these corn dogs give each pause...everything was deliciously memorable..,in other words, when I'm at "the Collection " in Oxnard, corn dogs are a solid choice. My only real gripe isn't the food it's the location...which is a court of sorts but doesn't have enough indoor seating...which is fine if it's a warm afternoon..but we got here at 7pm and it was cold for the outdoor benches. 3.5 stars. This place still hasn't gotten their act together yet. The cashier was obviously new at her job. The combination of a long line of people and a slooowww cashier almost caused me to lose the will to live. The menu has a lot of moving parts. The fillings include beef, whole mozz, half mozz/half sausage, half mozz/half cheddar, veggie dog, spicy beef sausage, and more. Then, do you want the mayo on it, or on the side? Blah, blah, blah. The ordering became very tedious. There's has to be a way to streamline the menu and/or the ordering process. One thing that would improve this is to eliminate the combos, or at least make the pricing of a combo be the same as ordering the items individually. The corn dogs themselves were OK but it didn't blow my mind and they didn't come off as particularly Korean. If you told me that some guy in Burbank came up with the concept I would have believed it. There were no condiments readily available. I wanted some ketchup for my fries and maybe some mustard (or Cholula!?!) for the dog, but I wasn't going to go to the counter again to deal with that fiasco. The "kimchi" fries just taste like regular seasoned fries. They were made nicely. The "dirty fries" (actually tater tots) had a little drizzle of mayo and the spicy cheeto crumbles. For some reason, the spiciness was quite low. I don't know if that's because they make their own cheeto topping or if all the fried food absorbs and neutralizes it. They do not have any tables reserved for their business inside the food court, so you'll have to schlep all the little boxes to one of the outdoor picnic tables. Employees are rude, they don't explain the menu. When you order they don't specify that they put a sauce on the corn dogs, or when you order the hot cheeto one, they don't specify the menu that you don't get just the full hot cheeto corn dog and that you only get a sauce in which you don't get asked of you want on the corn dog with a strip of hot cheeto dust. I think that the employees should explain the menu. I'm giving this place a bad review for rude Employees and getting talked back to when I asked why they didn't explain give me my order right. Do you want just a quick bite??? This is perfect for the littles. I would highly recommend the Two Hands Signature Set. It comes with one of each from the menu. You can ask for half wiener and cheese. I get the full cheese just because of that cheese pull! I'm not a fan of the potato things around mine. It taste fake. Lol! The others are great! I would give them 5/5. As for the tots 3/5. The customer service needs a lot of work. Looks like they get a lot of turn over. Don't forget you could get fries right across and a beer on the other side. We always take this to eat outside. There's plenty of seating and perfect for the Summer days! The staff were all very young and spent a lot of time horsing around and joking with one another in the kitchen so the corndog assembly line started backing up despite using a self serve kiosk to order/pay initially. I have been really excited to try this place, and I finally made it over. There's so many different corn dogs to try from served in different ways - you can have it stuffed with cheese, meat, or a combination of the two. I tried the Two Hands Dog, and it has tasty. A little too sweet, but still delicious. I had it stuffed with half and half - half beef, half cheese - and I didn't realize they would be the top half cheese and the bottom half meat. Maybe I just wasn't thinking, but I was just hoping that if you did half and half, you'd get some of each in every bite, not separated. Still good, though! The Kimchi fries are great, too. Their slushees are good but very sweet. I enjoyed the lemonade slush - good flavor and just on the high end of sweet without being too sweet. The fruit punch slush, though, was wayyy too sweet, and I couldn't do more than a couple sips of it. Parking can be difficult if the Collection is busier. But overall, a good place to go. read more

I was at the Collection for a Yelp Elite Squad event and want to help get the word out about this place. IT IS SO GOOD! I ordered a classic dog with the inside being half cheese and half sausage, and loved the balance and texture of it. The corn breading was fried well and not oily, the inside cheese and sausage was warm and fresh. The melted cheese inside reminded me of melted cheese on a pizza, so much fun to eat. The kimchi season fries were surprisingly tasty. The staff was friendly when taking orders and giving descriptions of each special corn dog. The Annex is a great place for the family because there is plenty of seating and lots of food options for everyone. The ambiance is very laid back and you can come and go as you wish. This is a Korean style corn dog with different toppings, and you can choose if you want cheese and sausage or all cheese or all sausage. So many different combinations to try. I chose all cheese half cheddar cheese and half mozzarella in spicy style. It was so good. The cheese pull was nice and the spicy hot Cheetos powder was great it gave an extra little crunch. I also got the dirty fries that had their signature sauce on top along with the spicy hot Cheetos sprinkled on top. I wanted to give this place a try, with my boyfriend, after we became smitten with Korean corn dogs. We ordered a potato dog with a whole mozzarella filling. It was piping hot and we dug in as soon as we got our order. The dog itself was very good but my one complaint was that the sauces and toppings were pre set. Specifically I'm referring to the spicy mayo and crushed cheetos that were present. I think if I had more freedom in regards to what goes on top then that'd be nice. There was a line forming before they even opened, but it was well worth the wait. They get the food out pretty quick. I think I waited about ten minutes at the most. I got the "two hands dog" which is their signature dog it seems. Pretty basic but absolutely amazing. I got it with the half mozzarella and half sausage. Really really tasty. I also got the "potato dog" but requested it without the hot cheeto powder and they were happy to make it that way for me. It was also really well done. I love the Two Hands chain. I used to go all the time when living in LA. I was excited when I saw they were opening up in Oxnard. I love that they decided to open up in the collection because I am there all the time. The service was OK, they seem a little overwhelmed sometimes, but no one has ever been rude. The food was great! Same signature crunch and taste as the store I visited in Northridge. I prefer my corn dogs to have all cheese but beware that the corn dog will be falling off the stick as you eat it, which is probably why their default center is half cheese and half hot dog. The hot dog really helps hold it on the stick. Unlike the other food stalls in the Annex, they don't have a dedicated seating area so more than likely you'll have to sit outside. Great for kids. Like was quite long had to wait about one hour with my fiancée, but it was expected any new business get this busy. The staff worked fast and efficient ; The Korean Corn Dogs can be ordered a few different ways some spicy, some sweet. The inside can be changed from a 100% Beef sausage, to half of one with mozzarella cheese, to a spicy sausage version. Swear I would give negative stars if could! I have had two encounters at this place and they both have been horrible! I can't even rate the food why....because they LOVE to close early! The food is take-out only and the ambiance is basic, but ambiance isn't really why you come here. The order process goes quickly, but the dogs are battered, fried and topped to order, so there'll be a little bit of a wait, but the wait's worth it.
