A great find! We were all on really difficult diets and found this place to be perfect. Huge varieties of options to support veggie, paleo, and keto diets with no carbs and sugar. The bowls worked for us and the burrito for my son. Great spices and very flavorful

Thanks to some awesome reviews we had to check this place out!! Awesome customer service, answered my questions about salt in items for me (low sodium restrictions for me)! Very knowledgeable about their products and checked on one they weren't certain about! I really appreciated this after having to go to the ER already this month from one place lying about it! I got the pad Thai bowl with tofu with dressing on the side. It was delicious, all items were fresh and the combination tasted great! I had carrots & tomatoes with extra cilantro! The dressing was good and I used a little amount and it was perfect. Plus, a bonus had enough dressing left to use in other meals at home. My husband started with Jerk with tofu and with all the options it turned into a make it your own bowl! Only disappoint for him was the jerk wasn't a dressing or cooked into the tofu, it was a seasoning sprinkled on. Otherwise, he loved his as well! His bowl ended to be huge! They tri color chips were good, I tasted one and it was good. Husband said that the salsa was good and better than most places in VT. They had a nice selection of bottled drinks including Coke Zero which is hard to find in many restaurants. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and tables were nicely spaced out for these times. I didn't see hand sanitizers however I may have missed it. We will be back when in the area again!

Delicious and generous portions! Monday is the deal. The Southern bowl or burrito any size is $6. We stumbled across this little gem while visiting the area. Some of our group got chicken and some got pork. Both were delicious. Gals got bowls, guys got burritos.

Fast, easy, and delicious. Restaurant has a nice ambiance and staff is courteous. I had the chicken bowl, with all the veggies, and Tika Masala.

It was alright. Food was ok. Price was high for smallish servings. Friendly staff. Not the best burritos I have ever had.

Whitefish Beignets (6.5/10): Not bad, but nothing special. Sauteed Greens (6.5/10): Escarole with a slightly hot and sour sauce. It was actually executed decently. However, I was unimpressed because it just tastes like a run-of-the-mill Chinese dish that's missing some components. Crispy Pork + Scallops (3/10): We had a piece of pork belly that tasted strongly of boar taint. This ruined the meal for us. Without that piece, I think my rating would be 6.5/10. Really not impressed with this dish - nothing special about it. Crab Bao (7/10): This was pretty good. Loved the mix of textures. I always love a good bao dish.

This is a small and intimate restaurant, with close proximity to the open kitchen . Located on a pothole riddled side street outside of downtown Montpelier, walking through the threshold was as if transported through a portal to a most wondrous place. Excellent and welcoming service, low and moody lighting, expertly crafted cocktails, and a small but exceptional menu. My partner and I shared three plates with individual affogatos for dessert and we were plenty satiated. As the menu rotates with the seasons, we experienced early Spring offerings, including grilled vegetables on a rich red pepper sauce, but our favorite bites were the Dungeness crab dumplings: tender shredded crab meat inside a pillow of light and delicate dough, I will come back just for more of these. The pork tenderloin was perfectly cooked but I was less enthusiastic about the cold bean salad upon which it was served. For Montpelier, Ondis sits on the higher end of prices, but it certainly knows how to deliver an exceptional meal and experience.
