Gary and Mike are hair Gods of Portland. I spent months researching and reading reviews and portfolios of many stylists but knew they would deliver the perfect look. I went in trusting the process and they both delivered far beyond any my of past experiences in hair color and cuts. All I asked Mike was to make sure I see the color in my hair and no pinks or blues. He spent almost 3 hrs on my very long hair and the color was fantastic. He is a true artist when it comes to coloring hair. As for Gary, I asked to keep my length long but freshen it and he exceeded my expectations. The absolute best hair stylist in all of Portland. I was lucky enough to find Gary after a truly horrible haircut experience in February. I ended up with a shag that I didn't ask for. My hair was thin and so uneven. I let it grow out with the hope that I would eventually find someone who could fix it. I have been looking for a hair stylist of his caliber in Portland for so long. Gary took such good care of me. He completely saved my hair. It feels and looks so much thicker and healthier now. I was so happy with the result that I even cried. I feel myself again. I have searched for a stylist in the greater Portland area for years. Literally. I had really given up hope when, on a whim, I decided to try this guy I found on-line that had multiple rave reviews. And WOW! What a game changer Gary has turned out to be. My hair looks flawless. Gary Glossman truly has a gift. He just moved his business to a loft rather than a ground floor salon; so it is different, but coolly reminiscent of the world-class salons he left behind in New York. Although a bit higher cost than average for Portland, it is still less expensive to see Gary and get one fabulous cut than to go elsewhere and suffer through 2 or 3 awful ones. Gary is unlike any other hairstylist, he's truly an artist! I have never been happier or gotten more compliments on my hair! Scheduled an appointment for a quick blow out and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing work of Gary Glossman. I was having trouble figuring out how to style my hair after a recent cut and it turns out it was the cut and not me! Gary fixed it right up and left me with a polished, beautiful look. Looking for an oasis? Two is it! Escape for some personal care - which is so imperative now -- and enter the oasis of TWO. Best experience! Gary is phenomenal (as a person and artist) and the studio is a great space to relax. Beyond that and most important...I have not had such a great cut - ever! Love that he had moved to Oregon. I found Gary just in time, had my first appointment with him a week or two before he left another salon. That was in October-ish? And it was literally the last time I had my haircut! First, I'll say, this haircut held up well, but I was in sad shape by the time I made it back last week.
