Not good. The Wilmington location....I do not recommend. Given the current situation, my family and I decided to try eating here for lunch. The place was empty around lunchtime so we felt good about giving them business. It was a mistake. The place was dreary and the wait staff was lackadaisical and unenthusiastic. We ordered the stacked nachos and they were disgusting. They even forgot to put them in the oven and brought them out cold. When I told our server, she acted like it was no big deal. I took them in the back and two minutes later brought them out. They were warm on top but still cold in the center. The hummus platter that we ordered was not good. Sour tasting with super salty martini olives thrown on top. We will never go back. Wasted $40 read more

Greeted fast by the server (whose name I missed) but he asked us right away what we wanted to drink.I'm normally the last to know so I didn't want to slow down the tables service so I just went with my normal honey jack& coke. Sadly they don't have honey jack. Right away he said a double so I said sure. Know mind you I could have nearly bought a bottle for the $15 drink that was okay but not a "good drink". Food and drink are good (when you can get it) but the service is horrible at times, many times. I've walked out of this place at least three times in the last two years on a dozen attempts. Last time I visited I was presented with the menu and seated in a booth. So far so good. About ten minutes later another person tossed a drink coaster on the table in front of me, whom I presumed was to be my server. I then proceeded to order my drink and he stood there shaking his head around and smiling silly. I don't know...maybe he is fresh from Barcelona or another world. He then walked off and disappeared into the kitchen area. Not to be seen again at least by me. Very peculiar. So after some time I drove to a better establishment. Maybe next time I will go there, let them seat me, have a hard time making my mind up what to order (sometimes I just can't be harried you know) while grunting , farting and picking my nose. I really wanted to like this place and have a nice time, but alas, that did not happen. It started on Tuesday when I called Two Stones to make a reservation for Saturday night, for six people, for my husband's birthday. I was told by the girl on the phone that they do not take reservations, and when I asked what to expect at 6pm on a Saturday, she told me that they are not busy in the summer and that there usually isn't any sort of wait. Fast forward to us arriving on Saturday night and being asked, as soon as we walked in, if we had called ahead. No, of course we didn't call ahead, because when I called on Tuesday I was explicitly told that it wouldn't be busy and that they don't take reservations. At no time did anyone tell me I could call on Saturday to put my name in (AKA make a damn reservation). We were told by the hostess that it would be a 30-45 minute wait for a regular table but if we didn't want to wait that we could sit at a high-top table with bar stools. This is a problem as my stepfather has Alzheimer's and really can't get around or sit on a bar stool. When we asked if we could grab a bar stool (from the actual bar) that had a back, we were told that we could only substitute ONE BAR STOOL!! Apparently the rules are VERY STRICT! Only ONE person can have a back to their chair! Not to mention the fact that the hostess didn't sub the chair out for us - we had to do it. Needless to say, my stepfather did not feel comfortable and my mother, who has severe back problems, was in a good deal of pain by the time we left. To add insult to injury - right after we were seated my husband went to use the restroom. There was a 4-seat and a 2-seat table, right next to each other, that could easily have been pushed together. Why we weren't offered that table, I am not sure. Perhaps someone else had RESERVED THEM?? You know, the thing we were told we couldn't do?... Anyway, we took the damn table and the poor customer service continued. Our waiter was EXTREMELY slow. He forgot several drinks and we had to ask for them again. He didn't bring us small appetizer plates so we were sitting there with crab dip and pretzels and nothing to eat off of. When it came time for our entrees, I was disappointed again. The food was ... ok. Just ok. Plus the portion sizes were huge (and wasteful), which is always a negative in my book. I will not be returning, and my suggestion to management is to get your damn policy straight. Do you take reservations, or not? Why was I not presented with the option to "call ahead" when I rang on Tuesday? Thanks for putting a real damper on my husband's birthday celebration. read more

Started off strong, welcomed by Thomas, great energy, turned out not to be our server, but still had great hosting skills and was very attentive to our table. Mike, day shift bartender was great, appeared to handle the entire front end with little to no help. He also offered up suggestions for the orders which were appreciated. Food- Loaded Potato Soup- today was average but it's usually pretty good and worth getting again. Cheese plate- great portion for the price and delicious. Pee Bee & Jay Burger- very good, worth asking for a little more PB next time but if your an average fan then they give the proper amount. Sweet Potato Fries were very good, would suggest a standard dipping sauce with them. Ketchup was their go to. Porkey Mussels and Bread- Mussels were delicious and so was the bread. I was excited for the scrapple croutons but disappointed in their flavor. Downside costing 2 stars? Kristy! She came over initially to introduce herself when she took over for night shift and was cheerful and said she does laps and just grab her when we see her. However that was the last time we saw her. We waited and waited and waited.... she told us she would come right back to get plates but she never came back. Finally out of frustration we went to the bar for our drinks, she came over- practically threw the drinks down, then we asked for a box for the cheese plate- more and more and more waiting then when she came she basically threw it down and ran off. After even more waiting for the check, she disappeared for another 15 minutes then goes to the bar to swipe the card, where were you? Again came over and threw the card down and literally ran off. If I were to ever go back, and I saw she was the waitress I would leave. Hate to be so harsh but she was that bad, I almost voiced my complaint there but figured this would be better for others considering. If she was having a bad day, I apologize to a point but she could have said something or still miserably been there going through motions. All she did was energetically tell us she'd be doing laps then left us wondering where were those laps at- the complex, a gym around the corner, where? Certainly wasn't our table. read more

I have been here twice in the last month or so, both for lunch. Service here is usually pretty good as it the food. The foie gras burger is still worth 5 stars although the foie gras portion has shrunk some over the years. my recent disappointment came at lunch when I ordered the large gorgonzola BLT salad. For almost $13, it was quite small in terms of lettuce volume (plenty of bacon and cheese) and the lettuce was a bit tired and looking a bit tan around the edges. I would not order that again and was happy I did not order the almost $10 add-on of salmon. So, three stars for the salad lunch and 5 for the foie gras burger - average 4. read more

I like that there are so many gluten-free options (though I'm not gluten-free myself) and all the apps we ordered to share accommodated everyone; sweet heat wings & honey BBQ wings, brussels sprouts, stacked nachos, and chips with "smashed avocado" -- guacamole. Stopped here on the whim while I was in the area doing some apartment tours. And I am so pleased with this place! A full day of apartment shopping made me and my parents hungry and this place was more than generous with their portions! The food y'all. The food!!! No one left hungry that's for sure! We ordered the smashed avocado, and truffles fry pile, ham and Brie sandwich and the Aston hot sandwich. Everything was really to die for!! Y'all have got to try the truffles fry pile!!! We ate it all so fast there was no time to take pictures (sorry!). I'm sure if o did your mouth would be watering. As soon as the plate got to the table and the aroma of Parmesan and truffle oil hit my nose, my hands were on those fries. No hesitation. The beers were also a big hit. My boyfriend and I stopped at this place before heading to Longwood Gardens for Nightscape. The only thing we didn't like was that we don't live close enough!! I would be a regular here if it wasn't so far. Perfect spot to grab a few local, craft beers and some intriguing food. As sushi lovers we had to try the chorizo "sushi" roll and it was so worth it especially with the BBQ soy sauce and wasabi avocado spread - HEAVEN. We also had the insane stacked nachos paired perfectly with the habanero pineapple rum. Will definitely have to go back to Longwood just to go to this place! Came here on a recent Saturday night; we waited a little while for a table in their sizable bar area and grabbed a beer, which makes any wait much more bearable. You can order your drafts from a big tv-like screen. They also have tons of bottles/cans. I wanted to go with something semi-local so I first ordered a Fly Fox Phoenix draft (ehhh) and later had a 21st amendment Fireside Chat, which was excellent and wintery. Two of my friends also ordered the Dogfish Head 120-minute IPA, which is apparently not available all too often and also apparently gets you pretty drunk. The point is that they have a great selection, so yay. On to the food. So I've had a lot of truffle fry orders in which the truffle oil flavor was subtle. Not at Two Stones. These fries pack a seriously amazing flavorful punch, and the generous sprinkling of parmesan really helps enhance the flavor. Seriously like the best French fries you could possibly imagine. The sauce is good, too, but you don't need it. I had other food here, too, which was great but less memorable. The blackened chicken mac and cheese had a really unique and creamy flavor. I also had a fish taco, but I shouldn't really comment on it as I had it the next day. It was fine and I'm sure it was better fresh. I really don't understand the 'overpriced' comments. Maybe it's just because I live in DC, which is a whole city of overpriced everything, but I thought everything was priced super reasonably. The service was really great as well. Our server was friendly and had no problem separating our checks, and even told us how easy it was to do so. In short, I would love to come back here, and I would get like six orders of the truffle fries. read more

Stopped in solo on my way back home from a quick trip to DC. Very easy to locate just off Naaman's Road, tucked inside a small shopping center. Quickly greeted and seated in the bar area (not seat yourself as you see in many other bar-side seating areas). This was Tuesday around 6:45pm and the place was not even half full and remained fairly quiet during my hour there. The bar was mostly occupied, but only seats a dozen or so. Excellent tap list, on paper and well displayed on those digital chalkboards that are becoming popular. Well rounded offerings with smaller pour (9oz.) to allow you to sample 2 or 3 and not break the bank. The two beers I enjoyed were very fresh and served in decent glassware. Tuesday night is an appetizer and entree for $22, so I opted for the braided pretzels w/ cheese dip and a honey mustard. Warm and delicious. Two nice sized pretzels and plenty for 3-4 people. Opted for the crab cake, which was enormous and loaded with crab meat. Potatoes a bit heavy on the mayo, but cooked perfectly and complemented with bacon bits. Green beans for the green, with a bit too much butter, but also prepared just right. As I was eating, I perused their craft beer bottle list and I could not stop shaking my head at some of the prices they were asking for bottles. I am not sure if their grand scheme is to not sell bottles, but as a knowledgeable craft beer knurd, the pricing is so far off and I would NEVER buy a bottle and ANY of the prices they were displaying. Uinta Big beers at $35 to $38! I can buy them in any store for under $15. Locals like Yard's Chocolate Love Stout.....$26, where I just bought it for $8. Victory's Oak Aged Barleywine, less than a half hour from the place....$40! Again, you can grab nearby for under $15. Listen, I am all about accepting mark-up in a craft beer bar for buying something special while out, but this is just flat out price gouging and I cannot stand it. ***REVISION -- bottle prices are way lower and more reasonable -- not taking any credit here, but huge drop in prices....maybe b/c they have not sold any of them? For whatever reason, prices are solid and I would have bought one if I was not alone*** I am still giving this place 4 stars b/c their food was excellent, staff friendly, clean, comfortable and a kick ass draft list, but you are not going to sell your bottles at these prices. If they do, shame on the customer for not knowing any better. read more

I got grilled chicken, green beans and fries for my kids and they ate almost all of it. I will definitely be ordering again. Everything was fresh and just delicious. Ok, so I've lived in Delaware for 15 years and I can't believe that I've never been to this place. Well all I can say is WOW! The food is outstanding! The service was excellent. First time drinker; long time food fan! It must be said I was little intimidated as I approached the bar because of the two bartending goddesses and my lack of knowledge of microbrews. However, I was warmly welcomed with big smiles and decided to resort to one of the greatest hit drinks, captain and coke. Took a chance on Two Stone Pub. We were very disappointed. I have no idea what their food is like because they chased us out the door before we could get a table. It's good to know that business is so good that they are not looking for nor do they want new customers. They are a little bit COVID crazy as well. We were told that my wife and I would not be seated at the same table with my four kids as it's too risky. What? I live with theses people. We did not give up yet nor did we state our opinion. They took our name and number and told us to go wait in the parking lot and they would text us when our table was ready. After an hour and a half we gave up. They never did text us. Stopped in for lunch after doing a bit of shopping locally. Really nice place, it's in a strip mall, but it's actually a very nice spot. We went to the bar where there is a nice long bar with a bunch of tables. A few televisions, as well as a beer list on a monitor are right behind the bar. We showed up when they were debuting a new brewery (Left Hand). The beer was great. The place's taps were obviously doing a great job and the bartender, who was awesome gave us some stickers and a bottle opener. Got the brussles sprouts to start. They were ridiculously good. Crunchy, roasted and served with a sesame soy sauce and sriracha mayo. Insane. I would take that drive from Yonkers just to get them again. I also got the brisket tacos, which were a special. I got 3 thinking that they would be small. I was wrong. They were pretty big and the brisket was delicious. The sauce was nice and spicy, not crazy hot, but enough to give you a bit of heat. The garden veggie burger and the brown butter ravioli where which I would go on and on. The ravioli was very different from the ravioli I have had in other places. What a great find! My friend suggested this place for dinner one night so we decided to try it out. The location is horrible but the restaurant is great for date night or grabbing a drink. The first time I went I got the five sample special which came with five 8 ounce beers to try (around $10?). I also got some fries to snack on which were great! I think they were called the truffle fries. Although we went on a weekend night the place wasn't too packed. Our waiter was super friendly and didn't seem to mind that we only wanted drinks and snacks. I remember them checking on my table a bunch which was nice. They have a great beer selection too. Okay....no. Raaaaaaaaacist. Went here for a parents night out. We were the only table with black people in the restaurant and we were cut off. When I talked to the owner, he said they cut us off because we had too much to drink. Not true. We had stayed at our table the whole night. Literally didn't bother anyone. When I explained that we were buzzed and not out of line, he said that one guest from our table was drunk and they were not in the business of getting people buzzed. I said, "people can't get buzzed here?" And he said, "no." Total bullshit. I told the owner how racist it appeared seeing that we were the only table with black people there and he totally gaslighted me and told me I was crazy for believing that. The owner sucked. Our server sucked. Wish I could take back our 20% tip. read more
