I highly recommend the "Bartender's Choice" cocktail option--the staff is incredibly skilled, and the drinks they crafted were awesome. However, management needs to fix their highly deceptive checkout flow. The bar chooses not to bake Tennessee's mandatory 15% Liquor-by-the-Drink tax into their menu prices. When the bartender flips the POS tablet to pay, the system completely hides the itemized receipt. It jumps straight to a final total that includes a combined 24.25% in state and liquor taxes. To make matters worse, the screen presents ridiculous suggested tip options of 20%, 30%, and 40%--which are calculated on top of that heavily taxed final total rather than the subtotal. If you just tap a prompt, you end up aggressively tipping on hidden taxes. Come for the excellent cocktails and great bartenders, but ignore the suggested buttons and manually calculate your tip based on the actual menu price of your drinks.

Their special, which was a bento box was not great. The flavors didn't go together and their sushi eggroll had cream cheese which is very gross. Their steak frites was fine if not that memorable. All in all, I would come back for their drinks and their oysters but not sure I would come back for a full meal here.

Me and my husband used to love coming into two ten jack when Matt Bo was working the service was great and the food was wonderful, unfortunately things started going downhill in his absence and unfortunately has reached a point of us not even wanting to come in anymore, first let me start this off by saying while there have been many hosts that have come and gone the one that we were always used to seeing was Cassidy she was always in a good mood and did her best to seat us quickly while dealing with what seemed like a million other things, as well as most of the servers we were always happy to be sat with and they took good care of us. That being said getting to the root of the problem which would be jennah, now there have been a few times we have had to sit up at the bar and for the most part we could just ignore the passive aggressive attitude and less then great service but unfortunately it has become nearly impossible to enjoy a meal, we have encountered numerous times jennah yelling full volume at servers in front of guests which not only is wildly unprofessional but also just poor communication, what has really sealed the deal for me personally though is our most recent visit we were sat at the bar and there was another couple sat next to us we were having a lovely conversation and ordered around the same time, jennah was taking the young man's order and called him ma'am he very politely corrected her that is was sir and not ma'am to which she scoffed rolled her eyes and continued misgendering him to the point where they ended up leaving, all this to say whoever is owner or manager needs to have a serious discussion about workplace etiquette and how to behave. read more

It is good food, don't get me wrong, but please do not come here if you are looking for authentic Japanese food. Takoyaki is more like just a southern hush puppy with some miso butter and shaved fish on top. Crispy brussel sprouts are really good. Very westernized maki rolls. From what I've tried of the yakitori it has been really good just very overpriced for certain items. They also will not make your ramen to-go or let you take home your own leftovers because it "doesn't travel well" and is "meant to be enjoyed fresh" which is annoying because if I've paid $15 for a bowl of soup, I'd like to take it home irregardless of what they think it will taste like at home (and I don't think the noodles are homemade anyways so they'd probably travel fine). Service has also been an issue here several times (have sat at the bar for over ten minutes before while bartender attending to other people who sat down after us). Anyways, good food, very cool environment, just pricey and not very authentic. read more

Unprofessional hostess and management last Saturday night 3/11/17. Two Ten Jack used to hold a higher standard when they first opened... Now the service and food leaves to be desired. Having a hostess tell us to, "let her do her job" after we inquired why we couldn't get seated when there were 4 empty tables in the restaurant and no one waiting to be seated but us, then the manager saying they needed to "catch up" their wait list... we said we preferred to leave than wait for them to "do their job". Manager said, "Have a good night!" They don't get it and don't care. read more

Red Lantern lights the way to this swanky under-building (izakaya) Japanese Restaurant. Modern decor but fitting. Tried the Kyoto drink (Gin, dolin blanc, rosemary syrup, lemon, brut and angostura) light, refreshing and we'll crafted. I didn't give it 5 stars because they had 1 bartender serving the whole restaurant and 4 people at the bar. Needless to say, understaffed and slow. Our server was friendly and brought children's chopstick adapter upon request for my little one to be able to eat more easily. The inside is clean with artwork throughout.

Service- Good Food-…read morebad. Gyoza was slimy and not well prepared. Took an hour during lunchtime to get food. Ordered shrimp and steak hibachi. Ambiance- poor. Fish tank is entirely to small. Not authentic hibachi style. How to make better- Better ticket managent in kitchen and stop prioritizing to go orders. No frozen Gyoza.

The place had just opened so I'm going to give it another chance. The ramen started out good but…read morethe broth lost flavor while I ate (this happened another time and the common denominator was corn so maybe it watered it down - I really don't understand corn in ramen). The noodles were good. The place had a nice vibe. Staff was very friendly. They didn't have traditional deep ramen spoons but I hope they get some, server found me the biggest spoon they had and I made due - was very kind. Definitely want to try the hibachi next.
