Hands down the BEST and cheapest KFC in all of LA!!! I went in with a group late at night last week and we got the Honey Butter and Soy Sauce Bulgogi Chicken. The Honey Butter was covered in powder which was unique and delicious, but the Soy Sauce Bulgogi as incredible - so sweet and smoky with a sharp crunch from the red onion. It was $20.99 for two flavors plus like $7 for fries and $2 for radish - which fed all 5 of us wonderfully. The service was fast and the tables had everything you needed already there, so it was a quick, clean, and easy experience. The parking lot has a $4 valet and there's lot of areas around where you can street park. Gonna be my go to spot from here on out!!! Perfection in every possible way. read more

This place gave me the worst case of food poisoning I have ever had. Firstly, the chicken wasn't actually good when you compare to other Ktown KFC greats - Witch's, bbq, etc. The chicken was dry, but at least that's how I know it wasn't what poisoned me. I shared the food with my boyfriend who didn't get sick from this place. The only difference between us? I ate the pickled radish and the corn salad, and he didn't. Chicken in the US is incredibly dirty and often carries harmful bacteria, as many of us have known for a long time. But the kitchen here at twozone either enjoys a perpetual state of ignorant bliss or knows and could not care less. What is clear to see here is that equipment is being grossly cross contaminated here, and this business is poorly run as it does not hold itself to appropriate food handling standards. I am writing this after being sick for almost a week now with no end in sight, and I truly do not wish this pain upon anyone. Not even my worstest enemies, whom I do hate very much. I came to grab some groceries and ordered some chicken when I was just about done shopping. I ordered the boneless chicken with soy garlic and hot spicy sauces and an order of the cheese balls. Obviously they weren't as crispy by the time I got home since I ordered them with sauce, but the flavors were good. I was expecting the hot spicy to be spicier, but it was pretty mild. I love the white radish they serve with the chicken. So cruncy and cuts through the heat if the spice gets overwhelming. The cheese balls had great texture and a touch of sweetness, which I liked, but they could've been cooked a bit longer. The cheese wasn't fully melted on the inside, but I don't know if that's because they cooled down in the time it took for me to get home. Galbi was weird too with super thick and overly sweet sauce. Soy garlic was meh, although it wasn't as weird as the other flavors. Spicy garlic was better than others. And another things that I didn't appreciate about the place was how little picked radish they gave for a whole chicken order. When I get home w their fried chicken, it's still crunchy!! I wish a chain like TwoZone would be more on top of their delivery game during a pandemic that has forced a lot of us to turn to take out. There was no indication that I had received two different flavors In one of the boxes and all the wings tasted similar to one another, the soy garlic flavor if I had to guess. I got these two little tiny sauce containers on the side which I'm guessing is there super spicy, but was not spicy at all. The wings were just way overdressed, and the soy garlic had no flavor. I was about to ubereats from Popeyes during quarantine but knew I deserved better and remembered the competence of KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN . I ordered to-go the half original fried chicken. I've eaten at this location and also received their delivery. I enjoy their flavors and the commercials they play above their counter while I wait to pick up my food. The Korean commercials for TwoZone is quite something. One is about sexual harassment and others about fighting....anyways that's all that I remember. Back to the chicken: I like their regular/original whole fried chicken which isn't the Korean Market Chicken that is a light, no crust and crispy fried. This shop has the thicker crispy crust which makes it a bit more oily as well. The regular chicken has no off putting smell and has a nice crunch. But again a bit greasier due to the thicker crust than some other fried chicken places. **I don't order the chicken legs from here anymore because they're just too big and the inside meat is a bit too bland even if the outside is well seasoned and marinated. The meat also has a kind of a funky smell. Their seasoned (yangyom) chicken pieces are all tasty. I like the garlic and the pepper spicy but they are all tasty depending on your faves. I haven't tried the wasabi flavor so can't say anything about it. I've tried their tteokbbokki(spicy rice cake) but I prefer their other location which has more flavor and maybe spicier. It tastes a bit flat at this location inside California Market. Their french fries, crispy pickled radish cubes, and cole slaw are good and everything in general is tasty. It's also so convenient to eat some friend chicken in their outdoor area upstairs and then shop in the Market afterwards. The market also has a food stand in the back where you can get delicious kimbap(seaweed rolls) that you can eat with your chicken. The vegetarian perilla leaves kimbap is one of my faves. There are many cute stores as well as a hair styling salon inside that complex so you can spend hours there, getting a haircut, eating and shopping. We did not realize this chicken shop is inside a Korean grocery market. We thought it would be its own restaurant so it was a bit difficult to find. Turns out it's in the back of the market.
