Had a slow leak from my water heater that I wanted to take care of ASAP (don't ignore leaks!) so I called TWS Plumbing. Travis gave me a reasonable quote over the phone to replace the old one with a similar model that was around 10% lower than the next best price from a well rated company on Yelp. I booked them and they were able to come out the next morning. Jose was the main guy. He was friendly and knowledgeable. After looking at the serial number, he told me that my water heater was 16 years old and that most of them last around 8-10 years. (I've only been in this home for a little over a year). He made quick work of the water heater swap with a little help from Travis who stopped by quickly. The job was complete in around 90 minutes which is less than the original 120 minutes Travis quoted me. Hot water is back up and running with no more leaks. read more

After having a terrible experience with another chain brand plumbing company (Not Roto, but close) who tried to charge me $675.00 to unclog a single drain line, I called TWS Plumbing. Travis turned up within a couple hours with brand new hydro-jet equipment and made quick work of my clogged drain. This was done professionally, expeditiously, and I was charged a fair price. Oh my gosh Travis is amazing!!!!!!!! Sunday morning, I'm getting ready to go camping, it's thanksgiving week and I figure I'm screwed. TWS plumbing saved me!!!!! He came out so fast. Travis and his guys are absolutely great. I called TWS initially for a quote a few weeks back to get my two back bathrooms re-piped due to the copper failing in several places over the last 6 months or so due to my home being older. Travis walked me through everything they'd need to do and gave me a comprehensive quote. He really took his time to make sure I knew what the job would entail which I appreciated. I compared them to some of the other quotes I'd gotten from other companies and decided to go with TWS because their price seemed fair and I'd also gotten a good impression from Travis. Fast forward to this week and both of my bathrooms were repiped in about 1.5 days total. They ran brand new PEX lines for me, bypassed and capped old copper lines that were failing and kept me up to date the whole time they were working so I always knew what was going on. I also appreciated that they did a very clean job of cutting out the drywall, in most places I'll be able to patch the walls using the pieces they cut out as opposed to having to get new stuff (they have a drywall guy if you'd like a referral, I chose to do the drywall myself). Thank you, again, Travis, for a job well done! Late Saturday evening I discovered my old water heater had burst causing water damage to some drywall and carpeting. I called Travis and he talked me through turning off the gas and water to the heater and advised me on how to prevent spread of the water damage. Sunday morning he came by and gave me an estimate to replace the heater and all attachments up to code. He also recommended a water damage expert . By noon, Monday, I had my new water heater installed, hot water to the house, and fans drying out the areas of damage. We just bought a house built in the 80s and a couple of weeks ago I went on Yelp to find a plumber for some basic installations. Each company was awful to deal with and defeated by this, my dad (who is a plumber in Iowa) flew out to help with some of the renovations and do the plumbing work. About 4 of our shut off valves were leaking throughout the house and both of our showers needed all the fixtures replaced. He didn't have the tools to fix it and told me I would have to get a plumber. Driving home on Sunday I decided to do more research on Yelp and toward the bottom of the list of recommended plumbers popped up TWS Plumbing. They were quickly responsive and worked with my availability today. I was still really skeptical despite the reviews but this company did EXACTLY what they said they would do, quoted us a very fair price, and even had time to do the repairs that were needed WHILE he was there. I'm just so thankful for their team to be able to help us handle what I thought was going to be a nightmare to get fixed. Not happy with a previous plumber, I called TWS. I read there reviews on Yelp and decided to call them. I had a small but getting larger puddle on the side of my house. Not really knowing what these 2 pipes were I needed to check this out. Thought about condensation but needed to be sure. Over the phone,showed Travis where and what. He explained the pipes were release 1 the condensation from the Ac. And the other release from the hot water heater. He figured it was jus condensation because I had been using the AC more the last 2 weeks at least. I aske him to still send some one over. I wanted to feel more at ease. Scott appeared, checked the pipes out and YES. It was condensation. he also showed me how the hot water heater releases which needs a pipe attached. Told me how to do it the right way. Tearing a hole and lowering the existing pipe in the wall because the new hot water heater release is different than the old. So all and all not a bad day. I was worried we'd have to start tearing wall and foundation up for a leak but no. Thank you Scott and Thank you Travis. Money well spent to ease my mind. read more
