I hired Econo West to replace some parts in my heating unit while we were in the middle of a…read morekitchen renovation. Unfortunately, after the repair, one of the parts they worked on caused a significant water leak that resulted in substantial water damage to my home. To their credit, Econo West came back out and corrected the issue with the heater. The bigger problem came a few weeks later when mold began appearing in the walls affected by the water damage. I spoke directly with the owner and went back and forth with him about the situation. Rather than taking responsibility for the mold damage, I was told that I couldn't prove their leak caused it and that the mold could have already been there before the water damage occurred. The owner also wanted to speak with my contractor because he was concerned that we were trying to get an excessive amount of money out of the situation. Ultimately, I had the damaged areas repaired as part of my renovation and decided not to pursue the matter any further. Had I not been doing renovations, I might have pursued it more, but at that point, the time and stress involved simply weren't worth it to me. I'm leaving this review because I think potential customers should know about my experience. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated that Econo West returned to fix the heater issue. What disappointed me was how the resulting damage was handled afterward. When a repair causes a major water leak, I believe a company should stand behind not only the repair itself, but also reasonably address the damage that resulted from it, especially when it has the potential to cause damage to someone's health. Unfortunately, based on how my situation was handled, I would not use Econo West again. Edit: In response to the comment below, the drywall was not replaced behind the cabinets like you said. In fact, it was my contractor that completed that job. The fix you guys made stopped above the cabinet and the mold was found behind the cabinet, directly below the work completed by your team. I have pictures if you would like to see for yourself. This was all discussed previously with the owner. If what you said in your reply is in the notes, then they are falsified.

They found some wire underground that they decided to tap into for the job and proceeded to run conduit along my wood fence (it was supposed to be along the house and NOT from underground) which was not what we had discussed as the plan for that job. I voiced my concern about how it was done and they came back out and did the job as it was originally planned to do. The whole time the job was being worked on, my windows were open and I could hear the apprentice complaining about having to dig and how the dirt was hard (I get manual labor isn't for everyone, be professional at least) but they "corrected" the work and that was the last I called on them. Fast forward a few years and we have more work being done in our yard only to discover the wire they ran underground to one of the outlets not only was bare once it was in soil (I was under the impression it was run with conduit underground), but also only buried about 4-5" deep in most places. Although Joe has always been nice when he has been here doing work, his staff comes off lazy and incompetent and the work they completed was a HUGE safety hazard we were unaware of. I don't think I'd ever hire these guys again.

I just wanted to thank TWS Plumbing for sending me the best plumber in Lancaster. Travis was so friendly, easy-going, very informative and explained what he was going to do in detail. I had a water leak coming up through the cracks of my pavement in the backyard. He did everything he could to find the leak and was able to locate the leak in less than an hour. He is such a hard worker and I know he enjoys his job and is really good with people. This leak was probably going on for almost a year and my water bills were sky high which was a mystery then, because I live alone now and I do not use a lot of water. Travis was a Godsend. I thank God for all His Blessings. Travis was also considerate and honest and advised me on how to save money by having landscaper patch the leak vs high cost of what a plumbing company would charge. Fair pricing and they were done in under an hour, making sure they pointed out what was being done was related to which specific CA building Code. I called Antelope Valley Plumbing and was able to confirm the appointment time I was looking for, which was today at 2. The phone call was no fuss, no muss, and very straight forward. It's rare that it goes that smoothly these days so I was very happy. I received a text @ 1:30 telling me that the plumber, Joey, was in route. 10 minutes later he shows up, lays out the process in which the service will proceed, and it was very upfront and reasonable. In a very short time, my leak was gone, my front yard was no longer flooded, and Joey is a very personable individual who obviously takes pride in the work he does. While the repaired pipe was going thru it's curing time, Joey took the time to discuss some other projects I am looking to get done in the future. He didn't have to do that, but he happily did. Based on the communication, the response and repair time, and the price, this was a 10 star experience for me. It was stressful watching my yard get more flooded by the hour. They were very friendly and helpful. We sent a couple pictures and they knew exactly what the situation was with our water heater. Soon after, they had a very reasonable quote for us and made an appointment to replace it. They were here right on time on Tuesday. A couple hours later we had a new water heater installed and a serious disaster averted! Thank you! Quick to respond- Professional-Efficient-Reasonable & Clean! Faucet man did a diagnosis of upstairs leak at the end of day and charged $159. The techs did not…read morecommunicate with me but wrote an estimate for repair. We were not sure about the diagnosis so got another plumber to check and found the leak was in the attic the hot water manifold. I did not use faucetman for repair.
