I took my 2008 Nissan Rogue to TAS for it's 120,000 maintenance service this month. They analyzed my car's mechanical needs and asked me to inform them of service already performed on my car in order to determine what exactly needed to be done. Instead of blindly performing every single service item on Nissan's Recommended Service Lisa (A and B) for 120,000 miles, they carefully considered A.) whether the car required the service, B.) the consequences of not performing the service relative to safety or incurring more expenses if left undone, and C.) if I had already had the service item performed within a reasonable time frame, do we need to duplicate the service? I am pleased that TAS was calculated and careful in their recommendations for service repairs, and always used solid data above-mentioned when they did recommend to perform service items. This is a great repair shop!! Trustworthy and reasonably priced. We brought our car in for squeaky brakes thinking we would be charged for new brakes pads; however, the brake pads only needed a cleaning and the charged was 60.00. Other shops, would replace the pads and charge for other unneeded repairs. Not this shop! They are honest and treat the customers well. They take their time in explaining the repair issue, don't overcharge, or charge you for unneeded repairs. Without a doubt this is the best car repair shop in the area!!! After going to another local place a few times and constantly re-fixing the same issues after temporary reprieves, I opted to try these guys as they are also near my work. They took care of two different noise issues I was suffering with and also diagnosed a headlight issue I needed confirmation on. I opted not to fix the headlight with them, but only because of the cost of dealer approved parts (on a 2000 Acura, replacing the electronics for a headlight gets rather pricey). As all of their fixes come with a year warranty, they are committed to using only new & approved parts (which makes perfect sense). Had I not been comfortable enough to do this fix myself (and willing to gamble on junkyard parts), it sounded like I could have negotiated a fix without their customary warranty, I really appreciated their speed, the quality of the repairs they did do, and their communication throughout the process (they were put in an uncomfortable position of telling a new customer bad news), Should I screw up my home repairs in a few weeks, I know where I will be going! read more

After having less than great service at some of the other auto repair centers in the area, I asked my friend for recommendations and I'm glad he recommended this place. After a weekend in West Virginia, my car had developed a noticeable rattle. I dropped my car off and walked to a nearby Starbucks to grab some coffee. Not too much longer, Tom called and indicated that he was having a hard time reproducing the rattling. After a little dialogue he said he would check it again. A little later he called again, they were still couldn't reproduce the rattling and had the car up on the lift and couldn't find anything loose. I returned to the garage and was greeted by Tom. He had one of his mechanics ride with me to see if I could reproduce the sound and sure enough the rattling was gone. I took it in to Richard, who inspected and found that it was just rather dirty in there, specifically on the drive shaft.
