I know a lot of the reviews mention that these guys aren't very good with communication. While they aren't exactly the fastest at responding, I have got to say I am extremely impressed with the quality of the food. I mean, everything was top notch quality. It is extremely hard to find genuine grass-fed, pasture raised meat and dairy. Most stores call put those labels on there products, but when you just compare them side by side with what you are getting from Udder Milk, you will instantly know that what you are getting from any super market is straight bs. They delivered right to my door in PA without any issues at all, and I received all of the items that I ordered with accuracy. Hello, I have been buying Soy Free Corn Free Pasture EGGS and Glass half gal (Guernsey) A2A2 Milk and Ground Beef 100% Grass Fed every week for 4 months. Except for the 2 weeks they were on vacation. I live in Manhattan and they deliver to my building. I normally meet them in the lobby of my building and pay in cash. Twice I left an envelope of cash with my doorman and a soft cooler with ice. I place my order on the website by noon on Mondays to be delivered on Wednesday or noon on Friday to be delivered on Sunday. I love the milk and eggs and hamburger beef and beef with 10% organs( heart & Liver). During their vacation I purchased Ronnie brook farms cream line. It was good but not like the great tasting Guernsey milk with its beautiful golden color. Look up the health benefit's of Guernsey milk. Guernsey milk comes from the Guernsey cow, a heritage breed known for its rich, golden-colored milk that is naturally high in A2 protein, beta-carotene, protein, and butterfat, making it easier to digest for some people. I read in a few places online that the UdderMilk supplies Amish products. I placed my order, following the instructions on the website and went to the bank to have cash ready for delivery, again following instructions from their website. Dina from UdderMilk texted me to explain the delivery schedule and the cost. Asked if I wanted the delivery? I said "Yes". The next morning (before 8am), Dina texted me to request electronic transfer of the funds by Venmo or Zelle to moazfouda@gmail.com in advance. This seemed sketchy and unprofessional. An hour and a half later, my phone rang. I was still in bed recovering from an illness, I was awoken from sleep. I answered the phone and was advised by Dina to pay by electronic transfer with instructions in an earlier morning text message from Dina. I explained, I needed to get coffee, wake up, then I can send money. I realized after I woke up, I had to go re-deposit the money in the bank, so I can do the transfer. An hour and a half later, as I was turning on the computer to do the transfer, I got another text, "Did you pay?" I felt very uneasy with all the pushiness and flip flopping in terms. I googled UdderMilk and learned that they feel the rules and laws of this country do not apply to them. There is no transparency as to who owns the company? Federal, County, State governments going after the company with court backing, for which they ignored. A public search of the email address showed the owner of the email also feels the rules do not apply to them with law enforcement records. This reinforced my unease. I changed my mind about doing business with this company. I texted back "As I mentioned, I just woke up when you called me. I just poured my cup of coffee, and turned on my computer. Pestering me to pay FAST despite poor planning on your behalf and not stating clearly on your website that you wanted payment by Zelle is your problem, not mine. I went to the bank and made sure I had cash for the delivery now I'm being told that I need to electronically transfer the money immediately. That's not fair or right to me. Pushiness is giving off a bad first impression. I strongly suggest that you amend your website for it to accept Zelle during ordering to avoid pissing off your potential customers. If this is how your company is going to operate, let's just please cancel my order. I wish your business prosperity elsewhere." I got a reply "we didn't receive your order payment. Sorry, we can't open pictures here. Or if you paid with different name please let me know. Any updates, before the cut off? After the cut off we can't proceed the order?" Then they proceeded to call my phone repeatedly, blowing it up with messages and calls. I picked up the line eventually and read them the sms text message that they claim they did not receive in plain text sms, no images. Dina was speaking in a pushy tone, so I became firm with my tone and took control of the call, ending it abruptly while again wishing them prosperity elsewhere. Just so everyone is clear, this is NOT an Amish company. Maybe once-upon-a-time it was? This is currently a Muslim owned company, not Amish. I have done business with many Muslim individuals over the decades. Their culture is VERY different from our own in America, sometimes leading to conflict in ideologies as to what is professionally expected from a business operating in the USA. That being said, this business will not have my business. Now, keep in mind their approach and pushiness in this instance is very similar to that of professional scammers creating a false sense of urgency around topics of money. This is what queued me to STOP EVERYTHING and re-evaluate the situation. I'm not saying anyone should or should not do business with these people. It's your freewill to do with your money and body as you wish. I am merely sharing my personal experience and I wish anyone who reads this peace, good health and low stress in their lives. When I asked what time approximately my order would be delivered, I was provided the phone number of the driver. I phoned and texted the driver. It took a few hours for me to hear back. Finally, the driver texted saying that my order would arrive between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. . At 8:00 I was informed my order would arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. at 9:00 I was told to just leave a cooler outside and the order will be delivered later. Yes, the website is quite old and confusing, but I decided to look past that since they deliver raw milk to NYC. I contacted customer service a couple of times prior to ordering, and they were helpful and quick to reply. The actual delivery was inefficient because you don't know if an item is out of stock or being substituted until the delivery arrives, so you can't even have the right cash amount ready (and who even has cash these days?) The customer should be notified the day of delivery since the van was loaded with specific items, so they are well aware of what is or isn't available by then. Almost half of my order was out of stock. The handling of cash and raw meat items along with all their other products was also very off putting. To make matters worse, there was spilled blood in my grocery bag that must have come from the raw steak, so it was unsealed--another red flag. I emailed them about it and was told that their kosher butcher doesn't vacuum seal, but completely ignored me when I asked where the spilled blood came from then. Customer service is courteous and responsive UNTIL there is a problem with your order. That, along with avoiding a paper trail by only accepting cash, makes them a shady business, which is really unfortunate since I am sure they sell the products of honest people. The raw milk I ordered was surprisingly fresh and did not make me or my partner sick (first time trying). I normally avoid dairy, but if I didn't, then I would definitely want more of the Guernsey milk. We also ordered the rice pudding, but I instantly reacted to it (I am histamine intolerant), so that told me that it was quite old. I've had two experiences with Udder Milk that left me in awe of how it's possible for a business to exist with this level of disrespect for customers. The first was when signing up. I knew I wouldn't be home for the first delivery, so I left money outside in a small black box. I wanted the box to be discrete, to limit the chance of theft, so I texted the support line to tell them about it in advance. No response, I emailed their email support, just to be sure they'd know about it, since, again, it was discrete. Lo and behold, delivery day comes, and I get no delivery, followed by a text saying I owe $10 for not leaving money outside... I tell them I did leave money. They are rude, saying it's my fault because the box is to discrete. When I mention that I contacted both support lines, they *ask for a screenshot* to prove it, and ONLY THEN say "oh okay you don't need to pay $10." No apology. No taking responsibility. Just "this often happens with new customers." I WONDER WHY. Anyway, due to NJ being an authoritarian hellhole, beggars can't be choosers, so I still decided to set up recurring orders. One day, the price of yogurt on the website was $3.50, instead of $7. I ordered 4, instead of my usual 2, thinking they'd cut the unit size in half. To my surprise, I get 4 of the typical size. Then I get an email: "There was an error on the website. You owe $14 in your next delivery." This is just not how business works. I didn't want 4 yogurts, I wanted 2. I don't owe anything. Plus, over the course of my patronage, I've tipped AT LEAST $30, probably more like $50. It's insane to me how a person, much less a business, can be this disrespectful to a customer who has been nothing but gracious and has tipped generously the entire time. I don't know what to do. So few farms are offering reasonable service to NJ because of NJ's ridiculous laws. I should have known that when a website has 125 reviews and 29 of them are 1 star, that I shouldn't have bought from them, but of course i made the mistake. The Guernsey had black flakes in the bottom of the milk. Yum. Even worse, their terrible customer service ruins them. They don't label their milk bottles, it's all done by color coded caps. When I texted them and asked which bottles were which milk, we discovered they sent me the wrong order. I was missing a gallon of Jersey milk. I asked how they would like to resolve the issue. They never texted me back. Rude delivery as well. Drivers never have change but expect a $10 tip on a $40 milk order that isn't even correct. Carry exact change otherwise youre gunna tip more than you originally planned. Bottom line, Uddermilk is a shady business with MANY similar reviews of bad customer service- these guys are good farmers, but terrible businessmen. They screw up, and then they no longer care about you as a customer because fixing the issue would cost them money. I nearly signed up for weekly deliveries from Uddermilk the week they started ignoring me. That's when I decided they didn't deserve my business. Being ignored after following up TWICE by a small farm goes against everything the "small business" model stands for. These guys don't care about customer satisfaction, so if you want assurances youre getting the right A2/camel/buffalo milk to treat your lactose intolerance or other stomach issues, this is not the farm to buy from, because they got my order wrong 50% of the times I orderes from them and never offered me a single apology or remedy. I hope more people read this and switch to Dutch Meadows Farm, which offers the same products but with employees who care about resolving issues with my order. Or any other farm that doesnt take advantage of its customers. UdderMilk is udderly subpar, not a good choice for people with specific dietary needs, because Uddermilk will not care when they send you the wrong milk and you get sick from it. They will just ignore you until your next order, which they will also likely get wrong. Rinse, dry, repeat, and you have udder milk in a nutshell. 1/10 rating, I would reccomend raw milk from other farms or even pasteurized organic grass fed store bought milk instead before dealing with these bums with their milk with little black rocks and hobby of ghosting customers like theyre a bad ex when they screw up their own milk order. All theyl had to do was refund one gallon of jersey you charged me for and didnt give me. These guys are willing to lose customers who are considering weekly purchases over a refund or replacement bottle of milk worth $8. Says a lot about their business model.​ Save the money. And lately, the driver has not even been delivering my order. The communication sucks, and so I reach out and barely get answers.
