This is a great bagel shop that offers Boars Head deli meat. All of their bagels are fresh and delicious. They offer deli sandwiches as well. The biggest downfall is the size of the store itself. If there is a crowd of any kind it becomes difficult to navigate within the store. The have two round tables by the entrance for eating in, but I do not suggest eating there unless they are slow, otherwise people are on top of you while waiting for their food. I came here for breakfast 7 days a week when I lived in the area. This little hole in the wall has amazing bagels, the type of coffee you will dream about in the afternoon when you instead have to go on a coffee run to Dunkin, and the nicest people working there. Udo's Bagels is a hidden treasure. Hidden because its off to the side at the Manors Shopping Center. Treasure because if the reader has ever had a real New York Bagel and wants another one without having to go into the City, this is the only place I know of that makes them in Mercer County. A real bagel is boiled, then baked. The result should be a slightly crunchy outside and a dense, chewy inside. At the end of each day they cut the price in half, too. Although if enough people read this, Udo's won't have any left at the end of the day. I'd give it five stars if they had more seating. Strictly to-go. read more

I arrived at 6:56 a.m. to buy a dozen bagels for guests at home. I saw that the sign on the door that had been changed to indicate that they now are opening on Sunday at 7:00 a.m. The door was locked, but the people inside saw me knocking. I specifically made an account just for this. The past few times I've wanted to come here myself and my roommates we try and call ahead to place an order for pick up and every single time the phone rings and rings for at least 20 minutes we try calling but there is never an answer. So we go into the establishment to see that possibly the phone ring is too low. But nope it is plenty loud enough to hear and the employees just disregard the phone. Also some of the employees are very rude and inconsiderate to customers. Only reason you have any stars here is because of the sandwich. I found my new little spot on my way to work. Udo's bagel its the bomb. Stopped by for my first time today and got an everything bagel with ham egg and cheese and it was perfect. I have pre-ordered a 2 dozen bagels to be sliced and toasted for a Monday morning pick up and each individual bagel was sliced, toasted, wrapped and labelled. It made for an easy breakfast at work for my team! These guys are awesome at delivering what they have promised for and they go above and beyond to what they have promised... their bagels are the best, period. Udo' s is extremely friendly. The bagels are unique and always nice and soft. The cream cheese is great IMO but the blueberry and cinnamon raisin are good enough that I eat them plain on the way to work. I like to think I know a good bagel and udo's is one of the best. I was thrilled when I found them only 5 minutes away from my place. My only complaint is the coffee. I wish it was as good as the bagels but I prefer my own home brew. read more

As I walk downstairs I instantaneously think to ask my mom if we can go to Udo's. She says "yes!", and I know I am going to have the best breakfast ever. For as long as I can remember my family has been ordering from this amazing bagel house. Every single time I order I get the same thing because it tastes like HEAVEN. My favorite bagel is a cheddar jack bagel toasted with salt and pepper with bacon,egg, and cheese. I LOVE the feeling of reaching in the bag for my bagel, taking the tin foil wrapping off, and picking up my bagel with the oozy cheese and the bacon that's crispy. The best part of all is the middle part of the bagel that has all the extra bacon, egg and cheese. To wash it down I like to have a smooth glass of cold orange juice. I love Udo's Bagels and I've been coming here for years. HOWEVER (and this is why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5) whenever I place an order over the phone for a toasted everything bagel with the lox cream cheese spread, 50% of the time the bagel is NOT toasted even after I ask if the bagel has been toasted during check out OR it's just straight salmon lox fillets and NOT the lox cream cheese spread that I repeatedly ask for and confirm over the phone. Never happens when the older guy takes my order but the younger girl(s) always seem to mess up my order without fail. Besides that, the bagels themselves are superb. read more

Best bagels in the area. I grew up in the North Jersey/New York area where we know our bagels. When I moved to the area, I quickly found that Udo's has the only bagels that live up to my standards. Other shops in the area serve bread, not bagels, and they survive on a name and/or good location. Udo's is here because of quality! I am there just about every weekend for breakfast. bagels are typical of the area (upper Mercer, lower Hunterdon) - not large and not roll-like. the dough is delicious however and crust is savory. good selection. good grill menu and they fill the bagel generously if you order something like ham and cheese. service is precise and fairly quick, tho the shop is full of teenagers working the register and filling orders. modestly to fairly busy, but wait is not long. have not had any errors in orders. coffee is good, to match the bagels. at this time i'd have to say they are the best place in the area that has a grill. read more

This is easily the best bagel shop in the Hopewell-Pennington-Lawrenceville area. The bagels are good, the service quick, and they grill it up fresh if you get a breakfast sandwich. The only reason they get 4 stars is due to the lack of seating available. If you go on a weekend morning, prepare to wait, but the staff is great and the line moves much faster than you would think. The pricing is also very reasonable. This is always my first choice for bagels in this area. read more
