The interior design of this boba shop is so cool! I felt like I was at an art exhibit and they also have a photobooth too! I ordered at the self kiosk, which there are two of, so not much service involved. I thought the drink tasted good, nothing crazy but the environment is really cool!
I was in need of boba so I was checking out the options in the area I was at. I had never tried UG Tea before so I decided why not? L O C A T I O N In Milpitas, on Barber Ct in the same plaza as 99 Ranch. It's waaaay to the left. Parking can be a mess during peak eating times and weekends, so just beware. I did find parking right in front but that's only because it was a weekday and in the afternoon. I N S I D E It's not a huge place but they do have some seating inside. It's more of a take and go kind of spot. They have a couple of kiosks to order at as well as you can order at the desk. M E N U There's a variety of items from just teas, milk tea, tea espresso, uji matcha, fruit teas and smoothies. For their milk teas you can choose from their "UG Special Milk," Fresh Milk or Oat Milk. I wish there was some kind of description as to what UG Special Milk was. Toppings were Floral Tea Jelly (only for iced drinks), Lychee Jelly, Honey Boba (which is white which makes me think it's made only with tapioca starch) and Creamy Oat. You can opt for a larger drink too for a fee. The drink I got was a Jasmine Milk Tea with honey boba with no added sugar and no ice. The boba was a little overcooked so the outside was a bit mushy. The jasmine tea was great though. Perfectly steeped. S E R V I C E I decided to download the app in hopes to get some points and freebies. So I was ordering and unfortunately as I was checking out I didn't scroll down when they present you with the payment button. I didn't realize they defaulted 18% for tip and there was also an area you can select using a $5 off for downloading the app. I just saw the payment button and thought "oh that's it?" and then wondered why my two drinks cost $19 cause I know they were roughly $7-8 each. I just wish the button only appeared after you scrolled all the way through reviewing your order which includes the items, tip and rewards. I felt that was a little sketchy. But I was rushing and serves me right to rush. Anyways, if you download the app, you get a $5 reward to use within the first 30 days. The drinks came out in a timely order and they also have a screen to show you where you are in line. O V E R A L L The tea was great. The boba was meh. The app sketch but I learned my lesson. Will I come back? Sure. I'm looking forward to trying the other items as well as the toppings as well as finally using my $5 reward. Will be back!
UG Tea stands out for updated modern interior and branding. Beautiful green colors. It's not a huge shop in Milpitas plaza, but it's usually crowded on weekends for sure. I decided to stop by this Taiwanese tea beverage spot after most Sunday late afternoon folks had left the plaza and it turned out to be a good experience after 3:30pm. Plenty of parking available after 3:30pm Sunday. Two self service kiosks are available. Looks like good full staffs are working here on Sunday afternoons. Menu is not huge, but simple. Don't expect lots of selections for smoothies or authentic strong tasting matcha flavors here. It's just another ordinary Taiwanese tea beverage spot. Tea is tea and people come for the matcha beverages. I had 10% sugar sweetness and regular ice for both my 16oz. iced beverages: $7.40 cloud matcha latte (oat milk) & $6.99 honeydew cloud milk tea. I actually liked the honeydew cloud milk tea more because even at 10% sweetness, it didn't disappoint. Good tasting. Cloud matcha latte was very light though, so now I understand why customers get upset when they expect higher content tea flavor or stronger matcha like the authentic Japanese matcha flavors. Yes, UG Tea matcha is lighter and not strong for most. I'm ok with it since I started choosing lower sugar and lighter options for beverages these days. Convenient. Easy grab and go. You can sit inside or outside. Not bad. One stop was enough for me since menu selections are simple. I think UG Tea did a great job here with updated branding look and feel. Staffs were busy most of the time. Pretty positive impression for now.
I love matcha and have been wanting to try this place out. We came a month or so ago and it was packed - quote a long wait so we left. Came back yesterday right before dinner and no line. I guess I know why.... Jasmine Matcha Cream Latte - No milk sub option. I loved the flavor but unfortunately after drinking half it really upset my stomach. hojicha - my husband's. it didn't have that strong flavor we love so much about hojicha. Not going to return. I wish there were milk subs for all the drinks.
This is regarding redeeming a birthday voucher if you downloaded their app. I came to redeem a $5 birthday voucher for a drink at the register since I couldn't apply it at checkout in the app for no reason. The crew members were kind to reach out to their manager for more clarification. It turns out I'm supposed to redeem it on the day of my birthday even though it says within 7 days. If your birthday is coming up and you downloaded their app, redeem this offer right away because this dumb app doesn't give much details. As for all the drink promos, you must wait in line at the register to redeem BOGO milk teas and limited edition Genic camera which I spent nearly $20 with the Honeydew Cloud Milk Tea back in June. The milk tea was still watered down despite they added whipped cream on top. I'll have to ditch all their popular milk teas and order fruit teas instead. The workers are still friendly despite how busy it gets during lunchtime.
We got a next level matcha latte with oat milk. The shop itself looks futuristic and cool. There's a photobooth in there if you wanted to take photos! I feel like the matcha latte was a bit overpowered by the oat milk, so the matcha wasn't quite as potent as I would've liked, but it's definitely a place to try at least once. Staff was friendly and service did take a while since it was a new shop. There's a restroom in the back. It's more of a grab and go spot since there was very limited seating.
Recently converted to UG tea loyalist. With fast output, friendly staff, tons of seating, cute decor, fun Photo Booth AND extremely clean public restroom... UG is the best tea spot in the plaza. And they give back to the environment by planting trees!!! I am not a matcha girly, so I waited until I picked up my friend from the airport and gave her their next level matcha to try (need something to beat the jetlag) and she loved it! She is a matcha connoisseur and having just returned from a trip to Asia, I knew her standards would be high, and yet she so enjoyed it. Personally I am a rare tea girly and UG is the place to go for that. There's no other place I've had rice milk tea and it is so good. Very tea forward. I think a lot of new places struggle with their balance of milk and tea and try to mask it with whipped cream or cheese crema but UG has got it down without all the fluff. Their hibiscus tea is my second favorite even though I don't usually go for fruity teas. The camellia is also very nice. You really just can't go wrong with any of their teas. My partner is a sweet-loving guy and he really likes the honeydew melon drink! It's so nostalgic and because it is not too sweet, it's sooo good. I love ordering my drink which comes out in just a few minutes and then sitting outside at their tables and reading my book. I used to frequent the other very popular tea place next to the plaza's supermarket. But I don't go there anymore. The lines are excessive, the in app ordering is always turned off, the workers are overworked, and there is barely any seating and absolutely no restroom. Where others fall short, UG tea surpasses expectations.
I don't get the hype but maybe it's a social media power thing ? v green inside - def catering to the ig aesthetic or whatever there's also a photo booth which is apparently all green on the inside but I didn't try next level matcha latte - 6/10 wish matcha taste was stronger & cup was mostly ice osmanthus oolong tea - 4/10 no tea taste tbh was just milk & a buttload of ice bonus points for not upcharging on alternative milk minus points for the sporadic spurts of perfume or smth - I thought I was tripping but my friend smelled it too
New matcha store in this busy plaza. They have a photo booth inside and an interesting theme. I got the honey dew milk tea and it was amazing. Loved the honey dew flavor on the cream top and in the drink. It was made well. The blueberry smoothie was also solid but it was on the milkier side. Would try their matcha next time.
There's plenty of parking at this plaza but it can get busy. There is a kiosk where you can order your drinks. The interior was modern, bright and had a $12 photo booth inside. There are some benches inside too. Theres a whole variety of drinks on their menu. I have tried the blueberry blizzard smooth, matcha cookie smoothie, next level matcha latte & Mango Rice Floral Fruit Tea which were all delicious. The drinks here are on the sweeter side and the I liked the size of the drinks. Definitely will come back again.

An aesthetic Taiwanese tea shop just opened their first Bay Area location in Milpitas. UG Tea is known for their minimalist aesthetic, whole leaf teas and futuristic café vibes that reminds me of Gentle Monster. This is their third location after LA and Seattle. I tried: Camellia Oolong Milk Tea, smooth oolong with floral notes. My favorite! Next Level Matcha Latte, thick creamy matcha with a savory cheese finish. Loving the strong, creamy and milky matcha. Matcha Cookie, icy matcha blended with buttery cookie flavor. Fun fact: they plant 1 tree for every 1,000 drinks sold. The photobooth inside was such a cute touch. After seeing this place pop up so many times, I finally dropped in to see what all the fuss was about! Unfortunately, it is all just hype and aesthetics because the drinks / service were just not it :(. The seats are more like a waiting area so honestly, it doesn't even make a great place to grab drinks and talk with friends. While they were pretty busy for a Monday afternoon, it wasn't like the store was packed at all - but the girls working seem to avoid eye contact with you like the plague. I totally understand being busy & I don't need you to immediately stop and drop everything you're doing, but it would be nice to be acknowledged. The drinks themselves were also just... off? We ordered the matcha cookie smoothie and jasmine matcha cream latte... The positives are : the matcha smoothie was only good because you can taste the cinnamon from the biscoff cookie / they put a whole cookie in, so it softens and you get to drink chunks of the cookie, but that's basically it. The matcha flavor was extremely weak for the smoothie and almost non existent in the cream. The jasmine flavor was also very weak.... So the drink just tasted like lightly floral milk. Super disappointed!! I'm glad they had the $5 coupon off deal, because I probably wouldn't have been happy paying full price for them.

Another yummy matcha place! I ordered the 15 jasmine matcha cream latte. Tbh, it reminded me of the premium jasmine matcha from Molly Tea. I still loved it though! I did go a few days after the soft opening and it was a Sunday, so the wait was LONG! I'm talking about 1 hour long lol... Had I known the wait was going to be so long, I would've ordered multiple drinks. The drink was good, but I can't justify myself waiting for an hour again. Although they do have an app so if I am in the area again, I'll definitely be ordering ahead and making my way there as my last destination to pick up my drink! read more
I ordered their camellia oolong milk tea without topping from their kiosk. The drink was pretty good, as I can request no ice and 10% sugar. Overall, the experience was good, and I am willing to come back to try other drinks. Just be aware that their kiosk defaulted to a 18% tip. read more
Very aesthetic and pretty inside! Besides that, the drinks were a big disappointment. I ordered the Jasmine matcha and had high hopes. The flavor of Jasmine tea nor matcha was not there. There was a slight taste of Jasmine similar to Molly tea but it was so minimal. The drink tasted a lot like milk, the cream on top did not help either because it just added to the milk flavor. No matcha was found in any sip I had of the drink. Additionally, the wait was quite long when I went soft opening. My drink was sitting there for 5 minutes without being called. With so much competition for milk tea and matcha, I expected more. Especially with it being in the same plaza as hey tea and close to cere tea. It was bland in compare! read more
Closer to 3.5/5... I've been here twice since soft opening. Very cool interior/decor, dubbed the "gentle monster of boba". Lots of photo ops including a photo booth. Drinks: - Next level matcha latte: 5/5 this was surprisingly pretty good. It's not quite a good high quality matcha latte drink, but good in a different way. - Jasmine matcha cream latte: 3/5 this was just ok. wasn't bad, but not amazing either. It felt a bit bland, not much jasmine or matcha taste. - Jasmine milk tea: 1/5 I had high hopes for this since it was one of the recommended drinks, however I was so disappointed. It was extremely milky. Barely a hint of tea. I would much rather drink molly or heytea jasmine milk tea lol. - Mango rice floral tea: 3.5/5 we got this because it was so unique. It was pretty refreshing and interesting. However it was a bit watered down. Being in the bay, there is no shortage of places for boba. UG drinks fall short of expectations imo as none of their drinks really stand out. read more

Came for the Grand Opening so I got to try two options at a deal - Next Level Matcha Latte and Camellia Oolong Milk Tea. I don't find they particularly standout from other milk teas in the area so if you're looking for a steady option I think this would be good for something not too floral but good flavor. I found the 30 percent sweetness level to be most other shop's 50-70 percent. The inside is that futuristic green vibe. Workers were extremely friendly. Parking is in a busy plaza lot. There was outdoor seating that they hopefully keep. read more

I've been waiting for UG to open for sooo long ever since it took over Yi Fang's spot in the plaza. I loove UG tea!! The osmanthus oolong is so flavorful and the matcha latte is also really good. I've had this place in Taiwan before and they are more known for their milk teas there so I'm surprised they're marketing for matcha here in the US. I highly recommend the oolong and jasmine milk teas! I also love the pure teas for a refreshing drink as well! Service is good and they are quick to hand out drinks! Staff is also friendly! Drink 4/5 Came on their grand opening and they were offering BOGO on two drinks. The next level matcha latte tasted like an average matcha latte, it wasn't bad but also didn't taste exceptional. Camilia milk tea is very good and in my opinion tastes better than the Molly tea! It has a strong tea flavor. Both drinks I got were 30% sweetness and are on the sweeter. Service 4/5 They're busy on grand opening day. They had one cashier taking orders for bogo but also had one kiosk available for people who didn't want the bogo. The wait to order was a little over an hour and the drinks took about 30 minutes. Ambiance 5/5 This place definitely lives up to its name for being "unique". Went during their soft opening, which gave $5 off any drink. At around 8pm on a Wednesday, the line to order was super short but the wait for the drinks was about 30 minutes. Photobooth is super cute! Got the next level matcha latte, which was super creamy and comes at a default of 30% sweet - I personally like my matcha to be a little stronger, but this was pretty reminiscent of the HeyTea matcha latte. I'll be back to try their other floral milk teas to see if they're a match for MollyTea. read more

The interior of this place is seriously gorgeous. A lot of thought was put into the aesthetics and design of the store itself. They also added a photo booth too which is a special touch. The drinks also came out pretty fast even though the store itself was rather crowded (which shows how trendy this place was). I would say that the drinks were not as good as they looked. The matcha cloud was VERY sweet even though the flavor of the matcha itself was weak. The camelia espresso also did not leave a strong impression on me either. I would try this place out once just to try it but I probably would not go back. read more
UG tea is one of the latest matcha shops opened in the South Bay. They are a very unique interior design, the whole store is like a nightclub, very shinny and trendy. We tasted a couple of their drinks and I have to say their matcha drinks are surprisingly legit, especially comparing to other spots that are high on the social media coverage such as Matcha town. read more

The tea is surprisingly good! I thought this place might just be overhyped because of their decor, but their teas were legitimately very well balanced. Jasmine Milk Tea: 10/10 Pretty on par with molly tea actually! More milky than molly but the fragrance of the jasmine shines through. Mango rice tea: 10/10 Incredible! I was so happy to see this unique flavor here! Reminds me a bit of mango sticky rice dessert. The sweet mango balances with the earthy rice fragrance really well. Only criticism is to use fresher mangos. Floral tea jelly: 7/10 Solid unique jelly, but tbh the drinks are so good they don't need this jelly! The staff were super friendly and accommodating during their soft opening. They were a bit slow but that's super understandable given they just opened. I wish they had a trash can next to their straws though. read more
Saw this place on social media, and I had to check it out! My friend and I came during one of the soft opening days. It was pretty busy, but the line moved quickly and the workers were efficient despite how new the store was. We tried two of their most popular drinks: the Camellia Oolong Milk Tea and the Next Level Matcha Latte at their standard sugar and ice levels. Drinks: Unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed. The camellia oolong milk tea was too milky and creamy. I could barely taste the tea flavor. Tragic because I was so looking forward to this! The next level matcha latte was better; it was creamy, and the matcha flavor was more prominent. However, I feel like everyone does matcha these days, and this drink falls squarely in the "average" category for me. Service: Very friendly and very fast despite the crowd! Ambiance: Very "glitz and glam" inside. Photos all over of models advertising the brand like a luxury product (really innovative). I can see why people refer to it as the Gentle Monster version of milk tea. Super pretty and aesthetic inside. There's a photo booth too! Parking: Big lot. Not hard on a weekday night. Be wary if it's a Friday night or weekend though. Upon further sleuthing on its website, I discovered that it is a new, premium tea brand created by the Sharetea group. Overall, I really enjoyed the vibe and friendly service. Looking for a new boba spot with tea that tastes clean? This place is for you! As soon as you step in, it has that Gentle Monster - cool silver vibe. Lots of spaces for photo ops! Workers are really nice and love that the place is fairly clean. They're known for their Camellia Oolong Milk Tea and Next Level Matcha Milk Tea. The Camellia Oolong Milk Tea (4/5) is more of a floral tea. If you like Molly Tea, this is a similar drink. The Next Level Matcha (5/5) has a great creamy yet slightly salted cheesy flavor to it. I like the unique flavor and it's not too sweet! I rarely get matcha from stores but would buy this again! read more
UG Tea is finally in San Jose! I loved having it in LA and am so glad it's here. The interior is clean and aesthetic. There's a photobooth and mirror to take photos with. There wasn't a long line, but they do take time to make drinks since it is their soft opening. The Next Level Matcha Latte is still my go to. Deliciously creamy and full of matcha taste. They don't skimp on matcha here! Will be back for some concentrated matcha!! read more
I saw this spot all over social media, so I had to come check it out for myself. The inside is super clean and has a very trendy, upscale feel--it honestly reminded me of a designer clothing store. The photo booth box was $12, which is pretty overpriced, but I can see how it adds to the overall experience and makes this spot stand out from others. I tried the Matcha Cookie Smoothie, and it was the perfect refreshing drink for a hot day. Overall, it's a fun place to visit for the unique atmosphere and experience. read more

The San Gabriel valleyzation of Milpitas is among us. Every day I see a new Boba shop or viral eatery opening up or on TikTok within the vicinity of Milpitas and already know the traffic boom is gonna be worse than it already is but hey at least that means there's so much food now too bad everything new is never in the east Bay. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea and Matcha. The decor and packaging is very on point. The macho was well-crafted the Jasmine milk tea. Maybe I took too long to drink it but felt like the cream overpowered tea or Jasmine flavor. read more

I got the next level matcha latte with 30% sweetness and the drink was really good! 30% was the perfect amount of sweetness. The matcha could be a bit stronger but that is just my personal preference. The interior is super cute! I definitely want to come back here to try more of the drinks! read more
There seems to be an abundant of matcha tea shops and UG Tea is another newcomer on the block specialize in matcha latte/ milk tea located in a busy Milpitas Square. Bro and I came by on a Saturday afternoon not a good time and quite surprised by the number of customers waiting indoor. We were lucky enough as we placed our orders via kiosk. Staff were efficient filling up orders and our wait was less than 15 minutes. I got the cocoa cloud smoothie comes in large size 10% sweetness regular ice a perfect summer drink. Bro got the orange jasmine fruit drink 10% sweetness regular a refreshing drink. Upon entry right above the ceiling is a large overhead size decor mirror which is quite innovated interior space is limited no dine-in seating just take-out/pickup. Would definitely be back best to come by on a weekday when it's not so busy and parking is more available. read more
i thought this matcha was good. the matcha was nice and added a nice creaminess to the drink, but i feel like the matcha flavor wasn't super strong. it was good and is better than a lot of the places in sj, but feel like it could've been stronger, especially with the matcha foam on top of the latte overall, would def come by again if i was craving a drink read more
The interior space is very cute with a Photo Booth and good photo opps but the matcha was just ok to me! I ordered the matcha einspanner with less sweetness. It felt like there was more ice than liquid. Overall, I'd visit for photo ops, but lines and parking can be very challenging. Seems like it located in a busy plaza. read more

Good matcha spot especially the next level matcha with the recommended 30% sweetness. I enjoy more of the matcha flavor over the sweeter matcha drinks. The service was friendly and it was a slow day that I got my drinks so line and only 4 people had ordered before me. The decor was has a modern feel. I will be coming back to try different drinks. They just opened and the current wait time for drinks in the afternoon on a walked dis about 20-25 minutes. Matcha cookie smoothie is a treat and the blueberry smoothie is slightly sweeter than the other matcha lattes but also very tasty. Inside is cutely decorated and crowded, highly recommend ordering online through their website. If applicable, they had a $5 off first drink offer if you order through their website. The promo code applies at checkout. It's another nice drink spot to try. read more

Super aesthetic spot - they say it's the gentle monster of tea My friend and I came on a weekday around 5 pm and luckily there was no wait. We originally heard that this was a matcha spot, however, after looking at the menu, it had only 4 matcha drinks and some milk teas and smoothies. I decided to go for the mango rice tea (10% sweet) and my friend chose the Camellia oolong milk tea (50% sweet). The milk tea had a floral taste and the mango tea had a nice rice note to it. In our opinions, the drinks didn't stand out very much and was just okay. I don't think I'll go out of my way to go here, but it's also not a spot I would be opposed to going if I had a friend who wanted to go! read more

UG Tea is definitely one of the more aesthetically designed boba shops I've been to. The interior is modern, clean, and has a very upscale feel. I've seen people call it the "Gentle Monster of boba," and while I can see where that comparison comes from because of the sleek design, I personally don't think the experience fully lived up to the hype. As for the drinks, they were good overall. I ordered a tea at the recommended 30% sweetness, but it ended up tasting a little too light and watery for my preference. I know sweetness is subjective, but I think 50% would have given it a stronger tea flavor, especially considering the price. The matcha drink was also creamy and enjoyable, though I would've liked it just a bit sweeter than the recommended level. One fun touch is that they have a photobooth inside, but it was $12 which felt a little expensive, so we ended up passing on it. Looking at the yelp reviews and pictures, I was a little skeptical of the matcha given the color of it being not as vibrant or deep. Unfortunately, speculations were correct because the drinks are overall, just ok. Will be a 3 star for me today. Drinks: Next Level Matcha Latte: 3.0/5 Per their description on Door Dash, this is their strong matcha latte with a creamy blend, finished with light cheese and a savory touch. This was my drink because I really needed to review their matcha drinks. If I had to describe this drink, it would be sweetened milk with a pinch of salt. The salted cream was alright. This is just a preference because I'm not particularly fond of the salted cheese topping to begin with. It is creamy and slightly salted, which is alright. Texture was fine and it actually mixed really well with the drink. Not too prominent and doesn't contribute too much after it's been mixed. For the drink base itself, it's mostly milk and really just tastes like the milk. My milk of choice today was their "UG Special Milk". Not sure if that makes the taste different...??? I digress. I was already a little concerned with the size of the cup and color of it. The size is 16 ounces, so they would have to put more of the matcha for it to actually have that strong taste of matcha. My initial impression was that the matcha would be diluted given the color. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case here. Very light and milky. Per Door Dash description of this drink, this is their tropical mango tea layered with toasted rice noted and a smooth pandan finish. Pandan and mango combined gives an interesting flavo. Pandan is quite light and I almost didn't get it. This drink is super refreshing and my preferred drink of choice of the two bought though. Flavor is very light overall. Tea flavor is present. My personal favorite was the slight floral hints in this drink. The mango is also present in the drink and tasted really nice. The jelly also adds a nice component to the drink. This would be a good option for a really hot day because of how refreshing it is. Sweetness was good for me, as well. Wait Time: Longer than Expected Their wait time appears to be slightly longer than usual. Something to note is that they do have online orders, as well. This will definitely add to the list without you directly seeing it. For us, it took around 30 minutes for us to get our drinks. --------- Quality: Aiight Their matcha seems fine and does have that bright color from it. Seems to just be quantity wise of how many grams of matcha is added to it. Items are all made to order it seems. Not sure if they whisk the matcha to order either because our wait was quite a while. Price: Average Priced The prices here seem to be of normal price. Range is between $5 to $8 depending on what you get. Of note, there is no upcharge for the milk alternative, which I love. For the toppings though, they do have an upcharge of $0.50. Service: No significant interactions We really didn't interact with them at all besides to get our drink. Ordering is done on two kiosks standing at the front of the shop. Once you order, there is a screen at the top where you can monitor the status of your drink. Once your drink is done, you can get it at the front from one of the workers after showing them your order number. Very typical process like other shops where they line up the drinks together and hand it to you upon confirmation. Ambiance: White and Green Theme Interior is nice and bright. Seems very modern from what I saw online. It's giving a mix of a few other matcha shops that I know. HeyTea, Naisnow, and Taning to name a few. Not too much of a sitting space indoors, but there is space outside to stand and sit. The interior color theme is a white and matcha green, which is nice. Appears to be a nice spot for some pictures while you wait, as well. Location/Parking: Spacious and large This place is located is Milpitas Square. There are quite a few restaurants and shops here. There is also a 99 Ranch Market here, so parking is really not an issue at all. I've been there a few times to eat and drink at the other places around here. We've never really had a concern with finding parking. Perhaps just depending on how far you would like to walk, but honestly, it's never been a concern given how spacious this parking area is. read more

I visited UG Tea for the first time and really enjoyed their matcha drink! The space is open and brightly light, it feels like an upscale/futuristic matcha shop - cool place to take pictures! I ordered the Next Level Matcha Latte - Medium size, with 30% sugar, regular ice, with the UG special milk. The Matcha Latte was truly light and delicious - the matcha flavor was prominent, with the right amount of sweetness. It was really refreshing on a hot day! The drink was a little over $8. The staff were welcoming and worked pretty fast. The venue was very busy and finding parking can take a bit. Absolutely worth checking out! read more

i saw a lot of instagram influencers marketing unique green as the gentle monster of tea spots, which i'd say that's pretty accurate! i absolutely love the modern aesthetic of the interior design. the drink selection is pretty similar to molly tea and are pretty good, although not really standouts against the competitive landscape of the bay. UG is from taiwan though!! so i'll try more of the menu the next time LOL there was also a photobooth which was broken oop so we asked an employee to get it up n running again (costs $13). read more
Location next to tasty pot. Very aesthetic inside, giving that y2k vibe. The Photo Booth is so nice, but it does cost 12 bucks so we didn't try, maybe next time. I placed an online order, stool does take 20 minutes, crowded Saturday, what can I say. My next level matcha drink was a disappointment , I had high hope for such a pretty place. read more

came here cause I saw the hype on tiktok. safe to say it's overhyped. i ordered online and it took about 25 minutes which wasn't too bad. the inside of the store is aesthetic but small. they don't really have any seating inside. I wish they would let us do adjustments like light ice. the next level matcha was good, the matcha isn't that strong. i got the cloud matcha and it kinda reminded me of watered down matcha. the cookie matcha is on the sweeter side, couldn't really taste the matcha. there are definitely other matcha places better than here. i got matchatown the day after and the difference in matcha quality was night and day. jf you want to visit and try it out, i recommend trying the next level matcha since it's has the strongest matcha taste outta everything else. read more
