Roman was the first guy who came to inspect my old AC units and determined what size would be best to lower the temps based on the size of the room. Very easy going and detailed oriented by documenting pictures and measurements. It was nice since they also offer financing in house through a third party bank. Rates were reasonable compared to charging it. Prices were also very reasonable based on the market. I ended up going with Daikon. You can also choose from other popular brands like Mitsubishi. They can find any brand you want for the most part. Ilya the main serviceman who installed my equipment in my living room and back family room. I want to be sure house stays cool during the summer. I have yet to budget for my upstairs split AC units. But I will highly consider Fuse! One of the other employees who came to help I believe his name is Daniel. He usually services the AC with cleaning but he helped Ilya with the removal of my old split AC unit. They also hauled out the old units! Super awesome! Employees are happy and work efficiently. Price point is also fair. There may also be rebates available for certain energy efficient AC systems. I need to add a photo of back living space and units outside. But I was happy to see they also provided the plastic stand for the confessor fans to sit on the exterior of my home. read more

Top notch HVAC company, Ivan came to give an estimate on a replacement system as I was told by another HVAC company it needs to be replaced. Ivan was outstanding by asking me questions and to him something didn't add up so he sent one of his technicians Elisei out and troubleshooted the system and found the problem to a bad capacitor. So the other company wanted to replace the entire AC unit but FUSE HAWAII came to the rescue and fixed our AC w/o replacing. From the start when Ivan came over I could tell they were honest and truthful people. Elisei the technician was great, figured out the issues, extremely polite and courteous and took care of everything. Thank you! Better companies down the road! Don't be me: Read all the 1-star reviews before booking! You may notice the theme that I missed. IF you do business w/ this company, be prepared to get excellent service setting up your initial diagnosis appointment for only $99! THEN, be prepared to use Google Translate to communicate with the technician that only speak good enough English to tell you an inflated price estimate to fix the problem; and then use Google to "try" and explain the problem. IF they don't return your calls, then just give a bad review; then be prepared for multiple texts & messages over the next few months to say it was all a "mis-understanding". They may even offer you a discount for the "mis-understanding." I definitely thank God that I only wasted $99. The estimate was an attempt to see how much I was willing to pay if I continued w/ Fuse for the repair. In the end, I went with another local company who completed the job for half the Fuse estimated price. I don't know if it's mis-understanding, persistence, or disrespect, but after telling Fuse that the problem is already fixed, Fuse is still calling; and I'm still not answering! This review is long overdue. I meant to do it after the first time I used Fuse. This was my second time using Fuse for my Samsung split AC unit. The first time was late last year when my wife was about to give birth and there was no cold air. I called Fuse to come by for repair and was expecting them to just diagnose the problem and come back much later. Come to find out it was a Freon/Refrigerant leak and I want to say they fixed it same day. The overall experience was very smooth and they fixed it very quick. This time during the tail end of this hot summer, I found that my AC wasn't running very efficiently because I was hearing sputtering while it was running. Fuse came to clean all 3 units, 1 in the living room, 1 in the bedroom, and 1 on the lanai. Come to find out after everything was done being cleaned that the living room unit had a significant amount of dog hair. The tech did a great job of cleaning all three units, as now my AC is running very smoothly and efficiently. It blows very cool even on the lowest fan setting and on 72°. So much so that I saw steam coming off of food we just took out of the microwave while it was running. Thank you for the great service and for getting the job done at a reasonable price compared to other companies! Only Fuse Hawaiʻi Air Conditioning came through with a timely onsite estimator, excellent online bid, diligent written and phone follow up, and fantastic onsite installation of our new Daikin split AC with four blowers, IN A CONDO. Everyone else bailed and balked and or ghosted me. I sent detailed emails with original install photos, floor plan and desired equipment links to dozens of these contractors on Yelp. It was truly astonishing to get only two competent replies, and only one who was available to do the work with a couple monthʻs notice. Condos are not as fun to do as homes, apparently. Fuse Hawaiʻi Air Conditioning is a franchise of Fuse Service in California, with a growing number of other state franchises. They have a fantastic website, excellent communicators, and my installers were my favorite contractors so far after decades of remodel work. * Ivan and Erik showed up right on time for the estimate. * The installers wore clean white socks in my white carpet OCD Condo. * My desired equipment came at better prices than I found online. * My old equipment was carefully removed and the new Daikin condenser and four blowers were carefully installed after the old lines were pressured tested for over an hour, and the drains were verified good, and the electrical was tested as well. * Michael, the sales manager out of state, went far out of his way in a different time zone, to text me back and call at time convenient for me, and answered all my tedious and nervous tech questions. * Ren and Oleg were fantastic to work with and carefully cleaned up all the packaging and old equipment and their tools, leaving not a trace to show for the fantastic new AC system. They worked hard without breaks until the job was done perfectly. * Make sure and tip these guys, they are a rare quality! Nobody else came close to this kind of professional work from start to finish in the whole process. Just light the FUSE for your project now. Great team. My first experience with fuse was to perform maintenance on five split AC units. They did a great job and were very careful to keep our place clean. Pricing was great About a month later, Fuse helped me replace a 20 year old central AC unit at a different property. It was a tough job because the space inside was tight. Update: After leaving my initial review, the company reached out and came by to fix the issue. Both air conditioning units are now working properly. I appreciate that they eventually followed through and resolved the problem. While the initial experience was very frustrating--especially being without AC for several days with a newborn--I'm glad the company ultimately made things right. We called this company for a diagnostic on our two air conditioning units, both of which were working at the time. After performing a pressure test and failing to find a leak, the technicians told us we would need to replace the entire compressor. They left without giving us any explanation of what was actually performed, left both units turned off, and didn't even bother putting the fuses back in. When we reconnected the fuses ourselves to try and use the AC, both units were suddenly inoperable--cutting off on their own and displaying error codes that had never appeared before. All we asked was to please have our units returned to the way they were, since they were at least operable before the company touched them. Michael the manager eventually called us, acted as if the company was highly reputable, and assured us they would take care of the problem. They sent another technician, but he was unable to fix the issue, gave us no explanation of what went wrong, and told us to call Michael again if we were still having problems. Since then, we've called and left multiple voicemails, but we have not heard anything back, the units were damaged during the pressure test and now the company is ghosting us. Meanwhile, we have been without air conditioning for several days in Kapolei, Hawaii, in the middle of the heat--with a newborn in the house. This situation is completely unacceptable. We are still waiting for a response, but the silence and lack of accountability speak volumes. How is it acceptable that we called for a simple diagnostic on two working AC units and were left with completely nonfunctional systems, vague recommendations to replace an expensive, and no communication since? We haven't even received an estimate of what it would cost to get the problem fixed. This company's handling of our situation has been irresponsible, unprofessional, and flat-out negligent. We are recommending this company for a number of reasons. Our 16 YO HVAC system called it quits and we contacted several companies. Fuse Hawaii Air Conditioning responded promptly via text (at 10 pm at that). The very next day we received a call from Alec to schedule someone to look at the unit. Within a few hours Roman was at our house and provided an estimate in the same day. The price was fair/reasonable and comparable to estimates for unit replacements in our general area. From day one communication was excellent and professional. We received texts with their ETAs and Roman answered all of our questions/concerns before they started the work. They were very efficient, in one day Roman and his crew completed the job, replacing the unit in the attic and outside. He also stayed to ensure the units were working properly. Within 5 days we got our HVAC replaced. Bonus, we purchased a Smart Home WiFi thermostat before the HVAC broke down and never got around to installing it; Roman installed it for us. Service was great. I needed my AC fixed and diagnostic showed a leak. They were able to give me a quote on the price and it was fixed after 30 minutes. My AC is now blowing ice cold air. Fuse HVAC was quick to respond and easy to schedule with. They sent a technician within a couple days. They charged an average price, $150, for a squeaky dryer drum. They opened it up and lubed the wheels. It took longer than expected to repair and the tech. wasn't super friendly. But at this point I still would have given 5 stars. The only problem is the dryer is squeaking again after only one week. I'll wait to see how this is corrected and possibly change my review at that time. But for now, the problem is the same as before the repair, and we're out the cost of the repair. read more

FUSE is fast to return your initial diagnostic appointment for $99. After that you will not hear from them. They came to my house to diagnose a dishwasher. Diagnosed it and said they need to order a part. I never heard from them again after repeatedly attempting to follow up with them via text and phone call. It has now been one month.No part takes one month to deliver. I believe their business model is to just collect diagnostics fees. If you want to pay someone $100 dollars to tell you your appliance is broken have at it. However with so many other good appliance business I would take your business elsewhere. read more

Ivan, my husband also served in the U.S. Army and therefore I do value service to our Country. Transplants has nothing to do with service to our country but refers to the individuals that move to Hawaii and decide to change the culture here and make this place like the one they grew up in. Hawaii is unique because there is the spirit of Aloha. All of our family live here and when I say this I mean hundreds of them, some I've never met. We have strong connections also with friends who are born and raised here. Eg, I never knew my husband growing up but learned later that our mothers went to the same high school at the same time and his friend grew up with my friend. This is the connection that new residents can't relate to. Because of this we treat each other as friends even when doing business and don't try to deceive them just to make a buck as this can negatively impact the business. After you sent me the email to choose how to move forward, charged me the diagnostic fee and didn't return my call I contacted another random company, they came into the house and by chance, it was my daughters good friend. This is what I'm talking about. They checked if the unit was still under warranty and guess what? The warranty was good. They picked up parts and just charged labor. They offered to do it for free but again local style.. "oh no I'm paying you full price" and I did because that's how things should be. "Ohana" is not just a word but the way we live and treat others on the island. I didn't respond to your multiple calls after I posted my review. You refunded the diagnostic fee which I didn't ask for but we both know it was to change my review. read more

While this company is very responsive the miscommunication resulted in wasted time. I contacted the company for a refrigerator repair. Provided all model/brand information and clearly described the problem. Informed them that the ice dispenser switch was broken/stuck and would not stop running. I set up an appt and was asked for a deposit of 99$. The technician arrived early, which was awesome. Then proceeded to look at the refrigerator for a few minutes. Went on to tell us that they would need to look up the switch and order, then would schedule a return visit for repair. I expressed my frustration with the process, noting that they already had all the information. I spoke with the scheduler/manager who was unable to tell me switch availability or timing for repair. Update: Roman and Ilya were able to return within 24 hours, completely resolve the issue and provide feedback on how to lengthen the life of the fridge. I used this company a few weeks ago to install a new unit. Try did such a great job that we decided to use them again for servicing all of our other units. They did such a great job I felt the need to share this second experience as well! I wanted to say how happy we are with your service and all of your staff! Roman and Oleg have been so nice to work with. And my Gosh Oleg did such a beautiful job servicing our A/C units! Especially the one in the back of the house. He showed me before and after photos and I really appreciate that he did that. Otherwise I would never have known how extensive of a job he did. And so extremely tidy! He prepped very well and I had literally zero cleanup even though it was a very nasty job. We had in the past had our units serviced every year (At least) but no one EVER took everything apart and really cleaned it like this. He put down tarps and really dug in deep and made it all sparkle. There was mildew in there from years of not being cleaned properly. I see now that those other companies just did the least they could to call the units "Serviced" FUSE DID THE MOST! Very professional! And it was done at a very fair price especially for the hours spent! We are so happy. Once again!
