Great service. There was only wait person on a Saturday but she did a great job. The regular pizza crust is really good. It is light, fluffy and slightly crisp. The vegetables on the pizza were fresh and not mushy. Yum! The gluten free crust was more bread like than many other crusts. They can often be flat and very crispy. My wife and I got a Hollywood Meat Lovers and The Big Kahuna(supreme) split on a medium pizza. The crust is thin and perfectly cooked. The meat and veggies were slammed on the pizza. I lived in Murrells Inlet for 6 years. As a transplanted New Yorker, I hadn't found a really good pizza place until I came here. I ordered a personal cheese pie and I thought I was back in New York. It came in 4 pieces, but they were not flat. Each piece was about 3/4 inch high. The sauce was under the cheese topping and somehow it did not ooze out after each bite. It was absolutely delicious - even the crust which I usually do not eat. I have tried just about every pizza place in the Murrells Inlet area, and no one comes close to this place. Food is way over priced. After standing inside for pickup for 20 minutes, the guy then proceeded to tell us to go through drive-thru and pick up our order, even though the customer right in front of me was able to get his pickup order inside. Was in Myrtle Beach and looking forward to ordering my favorite pizza from Ultimate California Pizza, the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. We picked it up and it was awful...bordering on inedible. My hubby called to complain and the manager told us to come pick up another one on the house. We were fine with that, everyone has a bad day, right? Today my husband was eating the leftovers and bit down on something hard. There was a broken bent rusty NAIL baked into the crust!!! Fortunately, my husband got that piece and not one of our young children. When we called again, they got angry and asked what we wanted them to do about it. Breadsticks and cheese pizza were so good! I love that they have chips and salsa but the salsa could be better. Their ranch dressing is just SO good! I looked on the website and it said they no one delivers so that was inconvenient. I called and they asked if i wanted carry out or delivery. So, then i realized they did deliver here. After my last horrible attempt with UCP I used my $25 gift card so all we paid was the tip (in cash this time.). Been coming to UCP in Surfside for many years! Always a very consistent meal and usually easy to get in and out. My favorites include their signature big Kahuna pizza as well as the pepperoni pizza and Italian sub. Breadsticks with their homemade red sauce is also very good!
