Wanted to give a rave review for Shaun of Ultra Lock and Key. I needed a second key made for my Lexus because I only got a single key when I bought it. They were recommended to me by Salz Lock and Safe, and I am thankful for that. When I first called he did not have the blank that I needed, but ordered it and said he'd get it in a couple days. I scheduled a mobile appointment with him when it was convenient for both of us. I was impressed with his mobile setup and capabilities. There was a slight glitch programming my new key at first which he had warned me could happen, so the second try added 12 or 15 minutes. I decided to add a door-only 'beach' key, that can get wet, which was another $50. I highly suggest everyone with a digital key do this. I was having issues getting my car to start due to my key not turning while in the ignition. I couldn't figure out what was going out so called a towing company to get my car home. I was extremely fortunate that the owner of the towing company referred me to Shaun. It was a long drive for Shaun but he went out of his way from the opposite end of Oahu to help me out. Shaun is extremely professional and is a master at his craft. He definitely has a process when doing his work. Shaun took a look at my keys and ignition lock cylinder and ran a diagnosis. He first created a duplicate key to make sure it wasn't my key that was the problem. After doing a few test the issue wound up being with a part of the ignition lock cylinder. Shaun was relentless in grinding/reshaping the ignition lock cylinder to make sure that the key would turn properly. I was at one point ready for the idea of getting this car towed until Shaun assured me that I'll be driving it home that night. Instead of feeling doubtful i fully believed in Shaun's words and after about an hour and a half of continuous attempts to figure this out Shaun hit a break through. He was able to fix the ignition cylinder lock. The key turns even better than before, and I also now have 2 extra spare keys for my doors. Shaun seriously goes above and beyond and doesn't charge you an arm and leg for the top notch service he provides (even though he's worth more). He's definitely a man with character who takes pride in what he does as it reflects in the way he carry's himself and conducts business.
