The best word to describe these guys is "Professionals". They're complete professionals. They move fast and waste no time at all, even though they're paid by the hour. They know exactly what they're doing with packing and protecting my furniture and boxes. They worked well together as a team when moving things around my house, lots of communication between them which led to no furniture ever touching my walls, door frames, etc. Brought all the tools they needed, and the tools were in good working condition and clean. No hidden costs or anything, and the price was awesome. As far as the people themselves: they're clean, so I didn't have to worry about dirt on my walls and floors; they speak english so no translators needed and no frustrating language barrier; they're extremely nice people and were very accommodating. We had an excellent experience with this company and primarily chose them based on the Yelp reviews and that they offered insurance with the rate, no need to add on extra insurance like other companies, and no hidden fees. Their website is straightforward and tells you everything you need. The prices are right there so you don't really even need a quote. The phone call to schedule was pleasant, all questions answered in a friendly manner. The movers we had worked quickly and efficiently to take apart/load/unload/set up our stuff. They were very careful and nothing was damaged. They also respected our wishes and did not wear shoes on our new carpet that was just cleaned. Very appreciated. We would go with this company again. $134.99 per hour for a 3 man crew with the truck. Very decent rates. The guys were friendly and effective. Moved a 2500 single story into a 2000 sq ft 3 story in 3 hours (including a 35 minutes drive from Summerlin to Henderson). The only reason I cant go five stars is there was a little bump and scrap damage, nothing serious mind you but 2 walls and 3 pieces of furniture had some scrapes and scratches. I will be using them again for my next move! All in all a very good service. read more

I have now completed TWO moves using Umbrella Movers and must say they are far and beyond the best movers in Las Vegas! Once from a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor with stairs only to a storage unit and once from that same storage unit to a family members garage a year later. This most recent move I had the privilege of working with Tony and Zeno who were both extremely professional. They were able to complete my move in just under 2 HOURS! They showed up when they said they would with the necessary tools and equipment for the move. They were both very friendly and helpful with accommodating in placement of items upon arriving at the end destination with everything arriving exactly as it had been moved (NO DAMAGE). I called umbrella movers solely on the reviews posted on yelp! The receptionist was really nice and helpful, Corrine I believe was her name. She told me that for a 3 bedroom home, 1967 sq. Ft. Should take between 5-7 hours. I also got an estimate in writing which had the actual price quote. They also quoted me a packing estimate which was VERY expensive! I was fine with the moving estimate, so I decided to do most of the packing myself. In the meantime a man named Tony came to my house to visually look at the house to see what needed to be moved-he verified this house should be easy to move in the 5-7 hour quoted time. The day before the move I called and said I got most things packed but there are some extras and I needed them to take care of it-the week before my husband got a uhaul and we moved ALL of the boxes that we had previously packed so that was taken out of the actual move(2 Uhaul trips). The guys came 20 min late that morning but were very nice and motivated to make me happy because the happier I was the more they got tipped (which is true). They had a small truck do they said it was going to take at least 2 trips-I said whatever it took as long as they were within their time limit. I watched them wrap the items I had left, now if you want cheap plastic cups throughly wrapped in bubble wrap, this is your movers! I told them they didn't have to wrap so those tight but they insisted on perfection. So long story short-it was going to go well over the 7 hours and into overtime which is a ridiculous amount of money so I had to set them free. Not getting my entire 1967 sq ft home moved and paying quite a bit more than quoted. But the reason for this BAD review is that they broke a crystal on my chandelier and acknowledged it, when I let Umbrella Movers know about it-NO REPLY!! So i received an unreliable quote from them and had property damage that went unresolved! On the positive side the crew i had was helpful and worked very hard, and when they broke the crystal, the two were very apologetic so I wasn't worried and had no doubt that it would be taken care of. I guess they got my money, finished their time with me and moved on. I would NOT use them again read more

they moved my next door neighbor - I had recommended he use Umbrella - they did a fantastic job with his house. Then they moved me. They know how to pack a truck and that is what you are really looking for when you are hiring someone to pack a truck as tight as possible - they bring shrink wrap - I loved that - many don't. They bring twine, they tie things off, they know how to pack. However - they gave me a heart attack when they told me initially they didn't think my truck was going to be big enough - but it was. I would have them come LOOK at your place if they will - before they get there - just to make sure you have the right size moving van....stem the headaches. Their price for their experience is spot on - spend the money to have professional movers do the job. read more

Juan and Oscar helped me move into my new 2 bedroom townhouse and made moving day much easier and less stressful for me. I had an appointment at 8AM and they started moving by 8:15 and the move took only 2 hours. All my stuff made it unscathed and they were super helpful in making sure all my stuff got to the right rooms to make it easier for me to unpack. There is a 2 hour minimum, so luckily I just made the time limit. The prices were very reasonable and they are upfront about their rates. Overall, those 2 were really friendly, helpful, and hardworking. I would absolutely (and already have!) recommend this company to friends and would definitely use them in the future! read more

Paul, Reed & Kevin showed up and immediately got to work getting my things out of the house. They were professional and all had a good attitude the whole time. From the initial phone call for a.price quote with.Kate, to.the walk.thru.for an estimate with Katharine, to.the.two wonderful movers Chris and Nick..I.was quoted.4.hours and i.even had a.few.extras.that had to be taken out of one apartment and.brought to my house and upstairs and it took 4 hours. My furniture is extremely big and heavy and they did an excellent job. So much stuff it took two trips and 10 and a half hours! It was a long long long hot day for sure! They worked hard never complained and got the job done. As we all know, moving is one of the most disliked activities in the world. Thanks to Tony and Mitchell, the "big day" was far less agonizing...and they even kept our spirits up throughout the day. My mother in law and grandmother in law were moving from (2) separate homes in Las Vegas to (2) separate homes in Orange County, CA. Tony and Mitchell showed up on time on the day of the move (in Las Vegas), worked tirelessly to organize, secure and load all of the belongings. They took extra time and consideration ensuring all valuables were protected and safe for the long drive. At one point during the loading, it seemed impossible that everything would fit into the truck, but the guys pieced the contents into the truck like a puzzle and it all fit!!! We were amazed. The next morning, as promised, we received a confirmation call that they were leaving Las Vegas in the wee hours of the morning (3am!!!). We were to meet Tony and Mitchell at the 1st apartment at 9:00 am. They were not only punctual, they arrived early and they were ready to get started. Throughout the day, both Tony and Mitchell were extremely hard working, courteous, friendly, followed directions well, happy and pleasant. Not a single complaint...just happy faces. They worked to the extreme all day and never took a break. We were so comfortable with them and by the end of the day, we all felt like old friends. We appreciate the hard work that Mitchell and Tony provided us with. We will definitely use Umbrella Movers again, should the need arise. Umbrella movers are by far the worst movers I have ever had the misery of hiring! Not only did they break very valuable and irreplaceable belongings they destroyed my brand new home, they didn't listen to anything we asked them to do to protect our washer and dryer, our large televisions, or our refrigerator that was supposed to be the refrigerator in our new kitchen! They put holes in our walls, ruined our carpet after being asked to take off their shoes and they refused! I purchased the insurance and after admitting fault they offered us 1/8th of the value of our belongings and think that it is ok, it's really awful because we paid an additional $500 to cover our belongings and now are being screwed into taking nothing at all for everything they destroyed! I would advise anyone and everyone to not use Umbrella movers and find anyone that can follow instructions and not ruin belongings! read more
