(the spice was spicing...) it's rolled right then and there, so it will take some time for them to make it (a full bts music video, which they'll play on a small tv screen for you, or around 4 minutes). with that in mind, you can rest assured the ingredients used are fresh since they package it after you order and pay. you get around 3 rolls of your chosen kimbap. i paid $12.95 for the fire fishcake, so it's a bit on the pricier side even though it's one of the cheaper rolls offered. it's a cute shop that's a little cramped, so it's definitely just a spot to stay for a short time if you plan to eat there. read more

I hate that they close on Sundays lol I seem to always crave kimbap on a Sunday. Anyway, they have the best kimbap I've ever had anywhere! The best one imo is the beef kimbap. It's basic but you can't beat the simplicity of this classic flavor. If you're craving kimbap I'd say stick with the beef. I had the katsu kimbap and as good as it is, it's more like satisfying your katsu kick rather than a kimbap craving so I wouldn't recommend that one. I originally wanted to get the beef kimbap or the tuna kimbap but 1) usually for beef kimbap I find it on the drier side and would want to dip it in some tteokbokki sauce and 2) I can't mayo which the tuna kimbap has. So I opted for the shrimp tempura kimbap based on reviews. I ordered one roll of it for about $8. The shrimp tempura kimbap was pretty good, and not sure if other places also serve it with a sauce since it was my first time having shrimp tempura in kimbap, but the sauce (a wasabi and lightly zesty sauce) paired very well with the kimbap. I ended up dipping each piece because I thought it tasted better with the sauce. Would definitely come back to give some other items a try. Once arriving to this restaurant, the sign on the location says K-bob top 10, and I was greeted from with the cashier and she was very friendly and answered any questions I had. Since I came around opening, the food came out pretty quickly within 10 minutes and I was able to try it at home. For the keto kimbap, you can only get it with Bulgogi so I got that. Once I got the kimbap, I was able to see that it was loaded with a ton of meat and vegetables. The portion was good as well I felt I was quite full when I finished it. Overall, this is probably the best I've ever tried and I would highly recommend it if you are into kimbap. The flavors were really good, and the quality of the food was good. The price was very reasonable and the quality of food and how it was packed was outstanding. The tournament was for an alumni event, and there are people with diabetes, so I ordered some Keto menu and they also are so happy with the lunch. I recommend Paradise gimbap especially, it has minimal amount of rice, so it's still probably OK for diabetics too (even though they have proper rice free Keto Menu) . I'll probably order all Paradise gimbap next time if I need the lunch boxes with similar occasion. The beef lacked flavor and was too dry. The bimbibap did come with a side of hot sauce. However, they did not have any side of mayo sauce or vinegar to pair with the meal that could have enhanced the flavor. The meal just had a burnt and bitter aftertaste.
