Service was so friendly and sweet, even gave us some good recommendations. We ordered spicy tuna kimbap, bulgogi kimbap, pork cutlet, and fried dumpling for a group of 4 to eat. It was a pretty big portion size! The kimbap tins came with probably 15+ rolls. For $12 - $16 per tin, this was such a good deal. I've been wanting to try this spot for awhile now. Finally got around to it for a lunch break. It's a small space with 3 tables but kimbap is pretty easy to eat on the go. There's a cute halmoni at the register and the service is pretty fast. They get busy during lunch so I would call ahead. Quite a few people were ordering the udon and jap chae so I am definitely trying those when I have more time. I orders the spam and cheese kimbap and the paradise kimbap. The spam and cheese is kid friendly. My kids love spam. The paradise kimbap is my go to for sure. It has shrimp, beef, egg, and veggies. What makes it even better is the sauce. It was my first time here, and after hearing great things, I decided to order a party tray of kimbap for a work function and it was a hit! My Korean colleague even said it was one of the best she's had, and I completely agree. I called ahead to place the order and got three flavors (vegetable, beef, and tuna), two of each, for a total of six rolls. All were delicious, but the tuna was my personal favorite. The lady who took my order was so friendly and patient, and when I came to pick it up, she was just as warm and welcoming in person. Reliable and also affordable! You get a very good amount of kimbap in each order. Called on the phone to place an order and picked it up shortly after, everything was made properly and fast! Bulgolgi Kimbap (5/5): This was so delicious and flavorful! I brought this for a potluck and everyone loved it. Vegetables had a nice tang and crunch, meat was well cooked and seasoned, and the sesame oil on the seaweed was the perfect touch. Spam Kimbap (3.5/5): Had no idea that this kimbap had cheese and only carrots, thought it would have the same vegetables as the Bulgolgi Kimbap but it was different! Didn't love this one as much as the bulgolgi kimbap but if the vegetables were the same (and also if it didn't have cheese) I think I would like it a lot more. I would come back here for sure!! Sometimes the kimbap wrapper doesn't taste as fresh but food is fine overall. They got stingy and now only include two types of kimbap with the combos (which they need to state on the menu) because in the past you had more choice for the kimbap but of course they'll nickel and dime you any way they can. The lady at front was fine at first but she did give a weird vibe when I didn't tip because I don't believe in tip for takeout. They don't have the best kimbap like my favorite place in Buena Park and the prices are higher than comparable places but it's adequate. It's basic but you can't beat the simplicity of this classic flavor. If you're craving kimbap I'd say stick with the beef. I had the katsu kimbap and as good as it is, it's more like satisfying your katsu kick rather than a kimbap craving so I wouldn't recommend that one. I happened to be in the area and heard a lot of good things about this place so I thought I'd stop by. The staff were very nice and they had a family kind of dynamic. Kimbap is made fresh. I got the bulgogi kimbap. There are 18 pieces in one order. The shop is small with only a few tables. I'm on the fence about this place. The kimbap was okay. I wasn't blown away by it. I don't know if it usually comes with any sauces or not but I felt like it was missing something. For ppl who like kimbap, my all time favorite is still Chan Chan. I originally wanted to get the beef kimbap or the tuna kimbap but 1) usually for beef kimbap I find it on the drier side and would want to dip it in some tteokbokki sauce and 2) I can't mayo which the tuna kimbap has. So I opted for the shrimp tempura kimbap based on reviews. I ordered one roll of it for about $8. The shrimp tempura kimbap was pretty good, and not sure if other places also serve it with a sauce since it was my first time having shrimp tempura in kimbap, but the sauce (a wasabi and lightly zesty sauce) paired very well with the kimbap. I ended up dipping each piece because I thought it tasted better with the sauce. Would definitely come back to give some other items a try. **October 2024: Saturday Afternoon** I've actually been here at least twice as it's a fast and reliable healthy option when I attend events. I enjoy the flavor more so than the Korean grocery store and they have convenient hours. I usually place a phone order in advance and pickup. They also accept credit card and have ample parking. The Shrimp Tempura Kimbap ($13.95) is my go-to and honestly ordering just one is usually sufficient for my appetite, though most of the time I'm greedy and order this and another one. I've tried their combo, spicy tuna kimbap and rice cake. Their spicy tuna was REAL spicy. Like way too hot to enjoy the kimbap itself. Their rice cake was really good but wish the portion was bigger. The spicy level was on point with this one. The lady was kind enough to explain the menu for me. They also sell Korean soft drinks too. Once arriving to this restaurant, the sign on the location says K-bob top 10, and I was greeted from with the cashier and she was very friendly and answered any questions I had. I thought that this location had a keto kimbap and since I don't eat a lot of carbohydrates, I was really intrigued by it. I also saw inside there was plenty of seating if you wanted to sit, but you can also take it to go. Since I came around opening, the food came out pretty quickly within 10 minutes and I was able to try it at home. For the keto kimbap, you can only get it with Bulgogi so I got that. Once I got the kimbap, I was able to see that it was loaded with a ton of meat and vegetables. The portion was good as well I felt I was quite full when I finished it. Overall, this is probably the best I've ever tried and I would highly recommend it if you are into kimbap. The flavors were really good, and the quality of the food was good. The bulgogi was fresh and warm so I really like that as well. I paid around $16 total with tax for my role, but I felt like it was a filling meal.
