They have unique flavor and really satisfy your sweet tooth. The banana pudding is good but honestly it's pretty basic. (Unless you scoop some and put it on a cookie) Lastly the workers were very monotone and seemed annoyed to be there. They dropped my cookie (it was already in the bag) and didn't even offer another one just said "oh it's fine" I wouldn't come here again in New York because they're are so many options but I wasn't upset with the selections.

So fun fact they are now advertising Banana Pudding Hot Chocolate and it is NOT actual hot chocolate but banana pudding made to taste like hot chocolate. Why I got so confused? I don't know! Maybe I have been watching too many videos about Tyra Banks Hot Ice Cream. Either way I appreciate the guys patience and kindness when explaining it to me twice especially because I did not end up ordering that at all (though it sounds interesting) but I did get the regular actual hot chocolate and it was amazing! It tasted like melted marshmallows were in it! Perfect for a cold winter day. In addition we got to the humming bird cake, a cupcake, and the regular banana pudding. My husband had never been here before so you know we had to get the banana pudding, it's their claim to fame. And it is decent. Growing up in North Carolina banana pudding is taken very seriously and is literally at every gathering. Would this be a contender for the cookout? Sure! I have no complaints about. The other baked items were delicious as well. The store is cute unfortunately this location has no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor. It was like negative degrees when we went so we definitely did not sit outside. All and all it's a cute bakery/ sweets shop. There are many locations through out the city. I've been to others and it is consistent. It's definitely not a bad dessert spot to try.

While the presentation was 10/10 across the board, the flavors ranged from "nostalgic perfection" to "a bit of a letdown." Devil Dog (The Winner): This was by far my favorite. It was a trip down memory lane, perfectly capturing that nostalgic Hostess chocolate cupcake flavor I loved as a kid. Lemon Raspberry Meringue: Coming in a close second, this cupcake was bright, fruity, and incredibly fresh. It felt light and offered a great balance to the richer flavors in the box. Ube: This cupcake was stunning to look at. However, the flavor didn't quite live up to the exotic profile of a purple yam; it tasted like a traditional vanilla cupcake that just happened to be purple. Great for the aesthetic, but standard in taste. Hummingbird: This was the only real disappointment. I was expecting the signature tropical punch of pineapple, but it lacked that acidity. Instead, it felt more like a simple banana nut muffin with icing on top. Final Verdict: Overall, the experience was positive. The shop clearly has a talent for decor and nostalgia. I'd definitely return for the Devil Dog and the Lemon Raspberry, but I might skip the Hummingbird next time. Last Note: The woman working in the bakery was a bit rude and had an attitude and that alone will make me not com back no matter how good the cupcakes are.

The pudding was super soft and fluffy with a strong banana flavor. It was pretty sweet for me, and I would've preferred it a little less sweet, but it was still delicious. I loved how it was creamy, light, and cohesive. It was a small shop for grab and go, and it was early in the day, so there was no wait. Staff were friendly. What I Ordered via Uber Eats: - Classic Mini Cupcake Assortment: usually I do one cupcake, but tried the assortment as planned to share with coworkers. Decent flavor, but I think I like the full size cupcakes as a better texture and frosting ratio in my opinion. Service was great through Ubereats even if it took awhile for my order to be prepared, then picked up. Nothing like cupcakes in your hotel room for the perfect ambiance. I'd definitely return and recommend, though not the mini assorted as I feel the full size is better in terms of texture and flavor.

Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. The employee behind the counter did not greet us or offer any assistance while my friend and I looked at the display. When we decided on the chocolate cake, she sharply asked, "Which chocolate cake?" as though she were annoyed, so my friend had to walk over and point it out. The store was not busy, and both of us noticed the unfriendly attitude. The slice was also $7 and smaller than the portions I have received there before. For that price, customers deserve both a good product and welcoming service, especially since people often visit bakeries to celebrate happy occasions.

While I'm not the biggest cupcake fan, they have a nice selection of cakes, bars, and other things for pretty reasonable prices, especially in Midtown. The staff are also friendly. The most recent time, I got a Ube Buttercake Bar for $4.25, or something very similar. As per the name, it is made with ube, or purple yam, and it has a slight purplish hue. It was just a bit rich, had a soft texture inside, and had a very mild ube flavor with a bit of vanilla. The dessert was decent, but not strong enough of a ube flavor for me to buy it again. Much better was the Brookie I got the first time for $4.50 or so, listed as a blend of their Ooey Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar and Fudge Brownie. I was happy that the chocolate chip part was dark chocolate, and it wasn't overly sweet. Otherwise, it had a nice mix of textures, with some soft and crunchier parts. I liked it a lot more. The prices here are decent enough, and the quality isn't that bad. It's not a place I would go out of my way to go to, but it's nice to be nearby if I want to pick up a snack or something similar. I would probably try a slice of cake, or another bar such as their lemon or dream, next time.
