[[HIGHLIGHT]]If you are looking for that classic, local community pizza parlor, Uncle Bob's is the place to be.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is incredibly family friendly and features arcade games to keep the kids entertained while you wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating is great too, with long picnic tables that can easily accommodate a small family of four or a massive party of twenty four.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff members are always nice and the pizza is consistently above average. One of the best parts about this spot is their weekly specials. They are a total bargain, which is a lifesaver when you are trying to feed a large family. They also have a solid selection of ice cold, mostly local beers on tap to enjoy with your meal. If you are looking for a recommendation, the Miss Honey pie is my absolute favorite so far. It has a cream sauce base topped with Italian sausage and ricotta, all drizzled with hot honey. It is hard to beat that combination! Definitely swing by soon and bring the whole crew. It is a fantastic way to let the kids have some fun and feed everyone for a great price.

I came to this pizza joint a little over a year ago. The food and venue was dope. I recalled saying that this joint would be fun during football season. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The setting is big with huge tvs all over.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recently on Facebook, they posted that they were your go to spot for Niners fan. So today, I had to go check it out! Pizza and Niner football are two of my favorite things! We made the mistake of showing up at 2 and the game starts at 2. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The parking lot was a madhouse! The parking lot of completely full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Luckily, someone was pulling out so we were able to get a parking spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking up to the restaurant, you see a beautiful big red Niners flag. And a sea of Niner fans walking in and chillin outside on the patio. It was a beautiful sight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The parking lot was a complete representation of the restaurant. It was crazy busy busy! Every table, every chair and the floor was full of people[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. My husband and I made our way to the counter to order. We were going to deal with finding a seat after we ordered. We got a couple things to share. A small half salami extra cheese pizza, Bambino salad, pretzel sticks and pazookie. We ended up finding a table after some guests were done watching their team win. We shared our table with other Niner fans. It was a cool way to meet people. Our salad and pizza got dipped off first. Holy Molly was my salad huge! I got a generous amount of feta, olives and meat on my salad. It came with 2 sides of Italian dressing and a side of balsamic glaze. The lettuce a so fresh and crispy. The add ons on me salad were so tasty! The balsamic glaze added such great flavor to the salad. I was only able to finish half of it. I did steal a slice of cheese pizza from my husband. That baby was not lacking in the cheese department. The cheese was perfectly melted. The cheese pull was fantastic! It was a great slice of pizza. The sauce, cheese and crust all together was the perfect bite. After half time we got another round of goodies. We got pretzel sticks and the pazookie. The pretzel sticks were so hot! They were baked perfectly and not overly salted. The beer cheese that came with it was a great sauce to the soft pretzel. That is something we will totally reorder again. The pazookie was a huge chocolate chip cookie topped with two massive scoops of vanilla ice cream. The cookie wasn't hot but warm. I'll have them put the ice cream on the side next time. We only ate about a third of the cookie. It will save the cookie from absorbing the melted ice cream that we couldn't finish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had the best time here today. The food was fantastic! I couldn't have asked for a better setting! I was surrounded by Niner fans[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The staff did a great job dropping food off, getting us random things and cleaning off dirty plates. Going to Uncle Bob's pizza was a great way to start off football season!

We've gotten Uncle Bobs I think a total of 3 times now and each time it has been so incredible! Each time we order we get it to go and bring it over to Good Apple which is such a great setup. This last time I ordered the loaded fries (pictured) and my husband ordered the personal hot honey pizza (didn't snag a picture before we started chowing down). The twisted wedge fries are the perfect amount of crisp on the outside, soft fluffy potato on the inside. I don't even know everything that's loaded on them, but it's something like cheesy, a spicy aoli, jalapeños, bacon, chives, and onions. The jalapeños definitely have a kick to them so be warned! We didn't get them this time, but my husband is also a fan of the pepperoni chips. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I haven't sat down and eaten there before, pizza places to me are meant to be takeout :D but everytime I go in there seems to be a decent amount of people sitting down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a nice decor and seems clean in there![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely suggest trying it and supporting located

As you can tell, I rushed into grabbing a slice of the miss honey pizza because it just looked that amazing. My taste buds were going insane with how good it was. Also had the chopped salad with some ranch and bbq sauce and it did not disappoint at all. I visit Idaho a lot to see family and my sister tends to take me to new spots when here and all I can say is come to uncle bob's pizza.

Two pizzas we ordered. Top kids pizza of just cheese then ham on the other half Bottom our pizza- half mvp half can't remember.

I have driven by and have heard about this joint of social media. A couple of my Niner homies come here during football season. So, it sounded chill to have lunch at this sports bar. Walking in, I was amazed at how stunning this venue is. It's a sports bar with the tvs but the decor and vibe doesn't make it look like your typical sports bar. This venue makes you want to act proper. And acting proper would be so hard during football season. It's too pretty to be acting rowdy. We sat by the cool flameless fireplace/pit. A sweet gal came and grabbed our drink order. While drinks were being prepared, we checked out the menu. It's a smaller menu but they have a little bit of everything. I got the Giggy burger, bunless with an extra patty. My husband got the finger steaks with fries. Our food came out and we were both ready to eat. My burger looked good. The cheese was nice and melty on top. I got a side of mixed veggies as my side. My husband's plate had a lot of fries. The finger steaks were fried golden. His plate looked tasty. My burger patties were supposed to be a quarter pound a piece. Honestly, they were thin and tiny. The patties weren't seasoned and were overly dry. The mixed veggies were just steamed broccoli and carrots. I'm sure the carrots are the same carrots used as a side for buffalo wings. And just like the patties, the veggies weren't seasoned as well. My husband's fries were good. You can tell they weren't house cut fries. The finger steaks were seasoned nicely. But the pieces were tiny and the steak was dry. I can see why 80% of the plate was fries. You aren't going to get full off the finger steaks. This venue is so pretty but the food doesn't match the venue. Our meal was sub par. Disappointing cause you'd think that food coming out of this kitchen would be killer. The service was great. The gal that served us today did a good job. I'm happy we got to check this joint out today. It's been on my to go list for a hot minute. Kinda bummed that the food missed the mark today.

Walking in, you immediately notice the huge LCD screens all around the restaurant, and it was perfect for catching a Monday Night Football game while you eat. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, offering drinks several times even though we weren't in the mood. We ordered a fried chicken sandwich for my wife and the three street tacos for me. Her sandwich was tasty, and my tacos were okay, though the chicken was a bit dry. My dinner salad was standard. I did ask for pepper, but it never arrived. Is is something they could keep in mind, as they (and like many places) don't provide salt and pepper on the tables. Service was polite, though plate clearing and follow-ups felt a bit minimal. It gave the impression that this is a spot geared more toward grabbing a beer and some bar food rather than a full dinner experience. Overall, Giggy D's is a good choice for a casual bite and watching a game. Just manage your expectations as it's far from a gourmet spot, but it delivers on friendly atmosphere and classic bar food. If you're looking for something similar, Rudy's or Brixx might be comparable or slightly better options.

For some reason, we were seated in a corner booth near the bathrooms, while other customers were seated elsewhere in the restaurant. We didn't mind, however, because it was nice and quiet. And, for me, convenient. My wife had the Sirloin Salad, and I had the Ahi Poke Salad. My wife said that her meat was cooked the way she likes it, and the rest of the ingredients were delicious. For me, the ahi, sesame vinaigrette dressing, wonton strips, onions, and greens were very good. The food is always good at The Tavern. And, the prices are reasonable. Unlike our past experiences, the service this time around was not up to our usual. Our server, Hannah C., seemed in a rush and impatient. Though she told us to ask her if we had questions, I didn't find her responses to be pleasant. The first dish my wife was interested in had Boursin cheese. My wife had not heard of it, and she cannot eat a lot of cheese. She preferred something milder, like mozarella. When she inquired of Hannah, the reply was terse. "We don't have mozarella." "Do you have another milder cheese?" "Like what?" Not in a nice way, and not professional, in my opinion. And, she was loud. We waited longer than usual for our food, and when Hannah brought it, she just dropped the plates and split. To her credit, she did check in on us once during our meal. Now I don't know what kind of day Hannah was having. Maybe not so good. I don't know what kind of person she is, and I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she is a nice woman. Hopefully she is not like how she was with us to all of her customers. I'm a 20% tipper. For her, it was 18%. I wasn't given a choice, but I would have gone down to 15%.

It's a nice sports bar theme, but also welcoming and cozy. Once we sat down, a server came over immediately with menus. It seemed like she was the only server though, which made me feel badly for her...she never stopped moving the entire time we were there with taking orders, serving, refilling drinks, taking payments, etc. We had a party of four - I ordered the "Hail Mary" (2 patties, onion rings, bbq sauce, bacon, American cheese and pickles), hubby had the double steak burger and my friends ordered "The Big Hurt" and "Bullet Work". Bonus points for having multiple fries options (regular, garlic, French fry dippers and sweet potato), but unfortunately for me, they were out of sweet potato. Food came out relatively quickly and everything looked pretty delicious. My burger was bigger than I expected, which I appreciated. The onion ring was the perfect size for the patty and the drizzle of BBQ sauce was enough to flavor the burger without drowning it. The only downside was that the bacon wasn't crispy enough and the cheese was barely melted. The patties had some nice, crispy edges and the bun was soft even though it was toasted. It might have been bumped up a notch with some mayo on the bun, an extra slice of cheese and lettuce, but overall, it was a nice, very filling, burger. The fries were perfectly seasoned, slightly battered and the fry sauce was a great compliment. Everyone finished their meals and raved about how much they liked their burgers. Due to the one server taking care of so many tables, we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. Thankfully the water glasses were enormous and I luckily made it through dinner with just enough to drink. We would definitely visit again to check out all the great options on this menu!
