DRY, OVERCOOKED, AND VERY LACKING IN CHEESE. I previously had this elsewhere at an office and it was amazing. But this location managed to cover cook it and it was lacking the amount of cheese to give it the greasy taste that is why people love pizza. Sauce was fine not too salty. But the meat was good but I hated the cooked to a dried Parmesan crisp the bacon bits. Ruined it. Better to add the bacon bits to the sauce so they stay moist. I will not be ordering again. Wont be recommending this to our office either. And most pizza come with dip. Simply asked for non garlic ones. Got none. Made the dry pizza experience worse. Do not recommend. Ordered two pizzas for delivery from here plus some sauces. Both pizzas (garlic chicken and pepperoni) were thin crust and tasted great. Tasty dips that we used for the crust. Overall the delivery process was smooth but I wish there was live tracking available and the pizzas were lukewarm when they were delivered. I have eaten at Uncle Fatih's a lot over the years, yet I have never ordered a full pizza from them. That says a lot. This is a place where you can grab a slice, load up on garlic sauce, and fill that pit in your stomach. It's fine, but it's not good enough for a full pizza. It's a bit bland, but inoffensive enough to warrant more than one slice. They have a two piece and pop deal which is usually a given in a per slice place. read more

Life is too short to eat a bad pizza. Clean place but the lady wasn't friendly aka frowned when we asked what kind pizza beside paperroni as there are so many other choices. Then we decided to get pull pork and paperroni. When my husband asked her to get papersheet so that pizza not smudged from stacked each other, amazingly she wasn't happy even way more sour/frowned face. Seriously lady!!! When we got home my husband ate it but mine can't shuffle it. It's dry and the pull pork meat more like shredded pork packaged. I will never go back. First bad service experience made the pizza less enjoyable despite the pizza taste was so so. I'd not recommend Uncle Fatih Pizza for this location. read more

This used to be my go-to place when I'm craving for a slice or two. Not anymore. The person behind the counter clearly does not like her job or her customers. Picked a couple slices to go and she proceeded rightaway to the oven to heat them up. When I told her no heating was needed since I'll be taking them home she actually rolled her eyes and sighed. No thank you whatsoever when I paid. Gimme a break. I do want to be fed cheaply once in a while but I'm just totally fed up with their attitudes. Back in the day a late nite stop at their Broadway Station location was a life saver! I would usually be starving at 2am!!! Had not been to this location on Cambie in awhile and I must say I was not disappointed! Had my 2 fav slices - Fresh Tomato & Feta and the Potato. Tasty & delightful! There's plenty of options and another fav of mine - their Spicy Chicken = Yummy!!! Was here today at high noon so be warned - it gets super busy! Uncle Fatih is the pizza of choice at one of our routine work functions. It may be a bit pricier but these are very good pizzas. The toppings are hearty, the crust is not overly oily, and the flavour choices are diverse. If you visit the store and get pizza from the warmer, they re-heat it for you in the oven so it tastes almost as good as freshly baked. First and foremost - I don't know when was the last time I spent $2.25 on a slice of pizza. I was pretty excited. Actually - I'll be honest - A local Vancouver friend brought me here on a lunch break and I didn't even notice the price until I got to the register and it was less then $6.00 for my slice of pizzas! To summarize this review, ugh. I'm a big fan of Uncle Fatih's, as you can tell by my other reviews. I've consistently given their locations 5 stars for the quick service, great price, and selection of toppings. But this particular location has been such a let down on all of those marks. This is the only Uncle Fatih's location with a "premium" price of $2.25 per slice. An extra quarter is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but when I asked about it today, the cook again lied and said that all of them would be raising their price in the near future. Again, a quarter's not a big deal, but why would they lie to me? Secondly, the selection. On the several occasions I've come in, they've either had a very small selection of pizza available, or way too much. It seems like they don't get very much business here, probably as a result of their higher prices and competition across the street. When they have "way too much" their pizza is often obviously more than an hour old, and reheating it just makes the whole slice taste stale and burnt. And somehow despite the aforementioned pizza problems, this location always seems under staffed. Every other location has at least two servers on shift at all times, but this one has what seems like one over-worked person all the time. Consequently, it takes quite a long time to get that over priced cold slice you want. Two stars because the toppings are great, and somewhat healthier than what is normally on a pizza. I'm a huge fan of their greek feta cheese and their artichoke heart pizzas, so even if they're cold and over priced I still enjoy them. But this particular location needs some severe over hauls, or it could end up closed like several other of their attempted franchises. Also of note, no washroom for customers or public. Wash your hands before coming! No patio or other outside seating either, unlike their other locations. read more

Oh my lanta, the last time I paid 2 bucks for a slice of pizza I was 16. That's like...never mind. I come from Ontario where every corner has a PizzaPizza and I hated it. I started to become jaded, that all pizza would taste like cardboard and be stupid expensive. That is, until now. I have been craving pizza for about a week. I knew If i didn't stop in and grab a slice from somewhere, I would just end up ordering a whole one to myself. Oink. So, I dropped in to Uncle Fatih's Pizza because I was in the neighborhood. I grabbed a slice of Hawaiian and when I went to pay I was so hungry I wouldn't have cared if they said it was 7 bucks. But, when they said 2, my first thought was that I still had enough change for another slice! How often does that happen nowadays? Never. But I stuck with one for now. See progress! Good for me. High five. The pineapple was juicy, ham was sliced nice and thin and it had lots of cheese. The dough wasn't chewy and it had the perfect amount of cheese. I could have eaten 4 slices...easily! The only thing that would make it better is bacon, but that can be said for most things. I haven't ordered a whole pizza from there but I plan to. They did have a couple flavors that looked amazing like spicy mushroom and Mediterranean and the veggie actually looked appetizing! Kudos. Last time I called to order pizza from this place a lady answered . She was quite rude .. I wanted to order small she said she can't make this size only xl she can help with. Didn't wanna make a big deal . I said ASAP please and she said it can b ready only within an hour. She said she has to take her break for smoking. Great choice of vegetarian pizza that rock to me. Unforgettable Pizza across the street has 2 veggie choices, so they miss the mark for me. Price is right at 4.50 for 2 slices plus a can of pop. They have a shortage of seating though, since they're always busy at lunch time. read more

Delicious pizza and AMAZING STAFF!! I waited in line for the midnight release of a Nintendo Switch at the neighboring EB Games and ended up waiting outside, in the cold and the rain, right outside this Uncle Fatih's. Bought a pepperoni and a veggie lover pizza i really tried to give the veggie pizza a chance but it really didn't taste the best. The cheese wasnt melted on the veggie pizza and it wasnt even warm when I got home. I tried to use the ranch sauce they included with the pizza to try to mask the weird flavor but it didnt work! The pepperoni was okay but still wasnt that great either. I'm very sad to give this place one star but it just wasnt that great. read more

I just came out of their new location in Yaletown but it does not have a Yelp page yet so I am writing the review here. The spicy chicken pizza was as delicious as usual. But the reason I decided to write a review and give five stars is coming from seeing Uncle Fatih himself in person. ( You cannot miss him as he was wearing his signature hat. ) I have to say I now respect him as a business owner not only because I like his pizzas but how solid and firm he is as a person who is running local independent business in Vancouver. For a walk up pizza take out it's fair to good. Kind of like Flying Wedge, so at least they keep it interesting. Wedge was the bomb in the late 80's, I used to be in the lineup on Robson but expansion & moving to cheaper quality products got the better of them...like most. I'm a regular at Uncle Fatih and I was surprised to see what other people on yelp had to say about it! It all roots from the debate of what real pizza is, real italian vs fast food. Among fast pizza, e.g panago, Dominoes, ect., Uncle Fatih come out on top. With its signature crispy crust and enormous size it is a must try when ordering pizza for watching the Canucks or just chilling with friends. Ordered 2 large pizzas for delivery yesterday. Whoever took my order was courteous and thorough. We ordered the Italian Sausage Mushroom and the Mixed Veggie. Both pizzas were great with a generous amount of toppings on each pizza. As far as walk up pizza joints go, Uncle Fatih's is right up there. I've been to a few of their locations in the past and there is always a good number of selections and you're in and out with a couple slices in just a few minutes. It's perfect when you just want to grab and go. A great alternative to a fast food chain restaurant. read more

I have had a few very disappointing experiences with Uncle Fatih's and finally decided to say something on here. My roommate was delivered the wrong pizza so they took it and left; showed up over an hour later without an apology. I've also had that happen as well and had someone show up with a machine that didn't work. They asked for cash and I explained that I said visa/debit online when asked and so he took the pizza. Just now the delivery person forgot all of the dipping sauces, so my roommate ran down to let him know. He ended up putting his foot at our front door, not letting it shut and she told him twice to please shut it. Really appalling behaviour which in my opinion overtakes their mediocre pizza. read more

Oh dear. Avoid this place. After moving from the UK to Vancouver in 2013 I've struggled to find traditional thin crust pizza and have only succeeded a couple of times (Via Tevere, for example). Therefore I'm always on the lookout for new places to try and had been recommended to check out Uncle Fatih's. I could tell right away that this wasn't trying to be a 'wood fired traditional style' place so I wasn't expecting that. But I still wasn't impressed. Ordering: The website looks great but has limited customization options (how do I ask for easy-on-the-cheese, or extra sauce?). To top it all though, it just wouldn't take my order; I tapped in my postal code on the Uncle Fatih's site and it located my nearest delivery outlet but after designing my pizza, it crapped out and told me they don't deliver to me (despite being around 1.5km from the outlet). Called them up and yes, they certainly DO deliver to me. Guy on the phone was somewhat helpful but fairly grumpy - obviously busy and not happy that I'm not able to use the crappy website. Don't worry about wasting my 20 minutes on the site and waiting for their phone line to be clear... Choices: Selection of crusts, sauces and toppings - good! Delivery: No complaints. Hot, relatively fast (for a Friday evening) and a friendly driver. Tip earned. Visual: I'm worried now. Generous toppings but WAY more cheese than the 'just a sprinkle of cheese please' that I asked for. My request for 'could I have extra sauce please' seemed to have been translated into 'barely any sauce please'... Worse though, my 'Thin' crust is about an inch thick - like a loaf of bread! Not a good first impression. Taste: Pros = Hot Cons = Very dry. Lack of sauce and way too much topping. Too salty, too thick and average quality toppings Conclusion and Price: Way too expensive for a disappointing pizza... Would not order again. read more
