After checking the operating hours, drove 1/2 hr to Uncle Jesse's on a Sunday morning around 10:30 am. Closed. Looks deserted.

Just a little diner, not much to see from the outside, but inside it is unique with the only seating at a large circular counter with the open kitchen on the side. The menu is pretty much what you expect with mostly breakfast items and sandwiches; this is supplemented by a couple of different special boards and signs. Service was attentive and friendly. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs, I got a spinach, tomato and cheese omelet that came with hash browns and cinnamon raisin toast. The food came out promptly, with generous portions of nicely prepared food. My omelet was good with the fresh spinach and tomatoes adding some nice contrast to the eggs. the potatoes were good and the raisin toast was excellent. Cup N Saucer is well worth a visit just to experience the old school feel with solid food. The service was good and the server seemed to know all of the other customers as friends and regulars.

We ordered Farmer's Benny (with hash browns), kielbasa breakfast, cinnamon toast French toast, and chocolate chips pancakes. Everything was delicious !! We will definitely be back.
