3% service charge on all card transactions. My go-to mom &pop donut shop in the area. I will make the drive out here if I'm craving some. Parking in lot is a quite full during dinner rush but people come and go quickly. I've been coming here for over a decade and it never disappoints, I've only really stopped by after dinner and not during mornings. Staff is always so friendly. I usually grab a dozen and staff typically will throw in a complementary donut. They got new boxes but don't let that fool you from iconic pink box donuts. If you know you know Asian owned donut shops typically use pink boxes. Their cake donuts aren't too dense and always moist. Their yeast donuts are so soft and fluffy but just the right amount of denseness.

I must say for my first time over here at uncle Joe's in San Gabriel is very home friendly. The donuts are fresh & fluffy

Uncle Joe's has been a 626 donut legend from way back in the day. They have the best donuts, hands down. Always fresh and delicious. They have all your classic donuts + more, smoothies, Lottery, beverages and more. They always keep it clean in there and provide friendly service. They are a cash only place but also have an ATM inside. There's parking in the lot out in front or on the street, no bathroom available though I think. Prices have went up unfortunately in this economy but depending on your selection of donuts, it can run you anywhere between $16-25 for a dozen. I don't mind dropping $25 on my favorites. Overall, I recommend their donuts any time!

Great service! They make you feel like you're right at home. Donuts are fresh, and their sandwiches are really good! My sister got the taro smoothie and she really loved it

Uncle Joes is the best place for Donuts! A little hidden gem in San Gabriel... it's a place to discover and enjoy. The lightest and fluffiest donuts I've had in years! It's definitely worth a visit when you have the sweet tooth

Service is always great and man, these donuts! So fluffy and delicious! Ordered these the day before and they were ready to go!

Apple fritter

All donut shops are not created equal. Uncle Joes is head and shoulders above most. I don't live close enough to come here often. However every time I visit San Gabriel's Nursery I make a pit stop. They are very close to the quality of Randy's at one third the price. Randy's does get a fair amount of my business. My Uncle Joe's favorite is the Apple fritter, it's nice, thin and crunchy. It's just little dry just like I like it. Randy's is too moist and cake like with no crunch. You have to deep fry it a little longer to get it just right. And amazingly the apples inside are sweet and juicy. Which never never happens with anyone else's apple fritter. Please visit this place if you're in the neighborhood and are craving a donut.

Old fashioned & coconut cake donut

Light, soft & airy glazed raised donut. The old fashioned was very much enjoyed by my husband (it's his favorite donut). The coconut cake was good as well. Everyone liked the donuts except I personally didn't enjoy the somewhat stale oil taste they had.

So , today was my first rodeo here and I have to say : amazing. customer service is so nice and their sandwiches & juices ? AMAZING. The hype & rave my coworkers give this place lives up to it. I ordered 2 turkey sandwiches (about $10 each) 3 green juices ($6 each) (A3, the order number of the juice because they have more than 1 green juice) , 1 red juice ($6, this one has like carrot, beets, and some other veggies but I forgot) , and 1 box of a dozen donuts ($17) all for around $60ish. I love the bread that they use on the sandwiches, not sure if they make it in house but it is definitely not just store brought bread at a market. And everytime I drink their juice i definitely feel good internally, it's like my body likes it. You can see them press the juices in house! The place itself has limited parking space I would say and the interior is definitely mom & pop shop vibes but those are the best places ! I would definitely recommend as well as try their tuna sandwiches because I've heard they're delicious!

Say this on yelp and wanted to try some of the pies but on arrival I was immediately smitten with fresh baked pastries. The stall is pretty small and cramped. But all 3 were busy prepping the day's pastries when I arrived at 8:45a on a Saturday. The spam longaniza cheese scone was delicious and not dry like some scones I've had. The chicken empanada and ham & cheese croissant were good but nothing extra special. The ube black seasame roll was also good but neither flavor stood out? The mango coconut donut (sorry pic was blurred) had custard, ripe fresh mango slices, and coconut. it was very good. Guy at the counter was very helpful. I asked him about pies and he said they did have the Ube banofre pie available if I wanted a slice. he did say it was better to come around 10 AM and everything would be out and on display. I'll probably come back to try the pie and maybe something on the menu.

(Important: There's a $3 Purchase Minimum if paying via Card.) I arrived at Rose Donuts (Temple City) on Wednesday (around 7AM). Parking is tight. The lot is fairly small and busy. Staff speaks Spanish and English. Staff is attentive. Surprisingly, this is a very popular location. It's filled with customers speaking Espanol. Staff is polite and respectful. Staff even explained that their old card fee sticker was outdated and no longer in effect. The ambiance is comfortable. This location is clean and had decent ventilation. There's also several clean tables to sit. They also sell Lotto. I felt welcomed in this business. Overall, Rose Donuts (Temple City) is a good experience. The donuts are fine; staff is diligent; and the spot is respectable. 4.7 out of 5

Donuts, drinks, sandwiches were great. Cronuts not so much.. I've been really craving a cronut lately, many donut shops don't make them anymore. And saw that they still make them and only have a limited amount before they sell out everyday. It would be best to call to see if they have any left before making you way there if that is what you're looking for specifically, which I was. The recent photos of their cronuts looked so good from other people and sadly that wasn't what I got when I stopped by on a Friday morning around 9am. They have a list of filling you can choose from. I chose Custard, wasn't too sweet and just as expected. Cronut itself was almost like a sliced white bread texture- not much layers like a croissant, not really flaky or buttery.. Glaze on the outside was very very sweet and too thick it created a crust.

That's a delicious, decadent donut. (Important: Bring Cash. There's an added 50 cents for card payments.) I arrived at Pronto Donuts (Monterey Park) on a weekday (around 7:18AM). Parking felt convenient. There's a fairly big "customer only" lot. I easily found parking. Staff is very businesslike and terse. This business had many customers so Staff looked very distant and focused on just completing tasks as efficiently as possible. On ambiance, Pronto Donuts (Monterey Park) is clean and plain. There's three tables. There's no customer restroom. And the spot mostly felt like an order-and-leave location. Most customers were just standing and waiting for their orders. Overall, Pronto Donuts (Monterey Park) offers very good quality donuts. I felt myself whisper "woah" when I bit into that rich treat. There's a good reason why this business is popular. If you enjoy donuts, this is an easy recommendation. 4.9 out of 5
