Store reminds me a lot of the Supreme store in NYC. Very straightforward/no frills layout with clothes on one side and shoes on the other. I was very impressed with their shoe selection...and they had a lot of kids shoes to boot! I was hoping they stocked BAPE items, as they sell it on line. But clothing wise, they pretty much only carried their own brand. I would definitely go back for their shoe selection. read more

I was expecting Undefeated to look different than HUF. As I walked in, though, it almost looked like HUF with a new paint job. Heck, I even think two of the employees working here used to work at HUF! Shoe selection is pretty decent, you got your Nike, Vans, Adidas, Converse, Puma....I came for the SF-exclusive Converse Poorman Weapons. When one of the employees brought out my shoes from the back, he was nice enough the loosen up the laces so I could try it on. Return policy is pretty strict, as there are no refunds, but you get store credit as long as you return within 7 days. read more

These guys are awesome. As I live on Ivy, off of laguna I am a block away from all things Hayes Valley. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have a store open with normal staff. "Normal" meaning you aren't judged as "not important" if you're not a stroller mom dressed in your Lulu, looking for $80 baby shoes. Good inventory. Staff needs to be retrained. sales person 101? Simple hello, can I get that in your size would be fine, but don't expect that shopping here. I had to put the shoe in the air and yell my shoe size to the gentlemen behind the desk for two different types of shoes. He brought one out and the other they didn't have in my size, but he decided to go all the way back behind the register and instead yell over the music to tell me. No lies, the store is really nice. I came on a busy Saturday with my wife and 17 month old daughter. Within 2 minutes I was greeted and ask how was I doing. No asking what I need help with like Shoe Palace and all them other places, nor was I ignored like I wasn't alive. The selection was insane and my daughter had fun take a bunch of shoes off on on their wall. Expect the usually brands and clothing for them. I didn't mean to attended grand opening day, but my friends wanted to and they surprised me and picked me up. So we drive there, being stuck in traffic for a while, coming from South San Francisco. We.arrived there and of course there was a line. The line wasn't too bad, but we ended up in line longer than expected, because we couldn't wait and ended up going to the other local shops. So when we actually decided to stay in line, we were in line for about 30 minutes. We got inside, and everything is exactly like all other UNDFTD chapters, but maybe a bit smaller. The layout of the shop is exactly how the old HUF used to be when it was in that location. A lot of familiar faces and friends from the old HUF store work at UNDFTD, so you will get that quality customer service. The SF exclusive in-store product was really nice. The snap back starter caps were cool, but I bought the Giants inspired T-shirt. I think I'm going to go back for the Poorman Weapons. UNDFTDSF is worth checking out. read more

This is based on a call to their store: When I was looking for a particular pair of Jordans, oh let's say true blue 3s, I gave them a call and they said their inventory was very limited. I'm guessing it was no more than a full size run. In addition, they recommended hitting up Niketown or the Westfield since there will be many more pairs available. I appreciate the honesty, and the guy who I spoke with said it in a manner that was not condescending. I hope the employees are helpful in this manner in-store. The phone call alone was a much better experience than walking inside HUF, where you're barely acknowledged. I hear they have a wide variety of kicks, so I'll need to make my way there some day. If its anything like the Undefeated in LA, I'm counting on a great selection and friendly staff. I'm also banking on the fact that they carry no only general release Jordans, but also QS and LS kicks as well. read more

Been a while since I've reviewed a boutique, so here goes. This store/brand is one of my favorite of all times. Located in the Hayes Valley district, I always stop by before hitting up Ritual Coffee or Smittens Ice Cream (around the block). Although I did notice previous reviews mentioning their poor customer service, I must say I had a completely different experience. The staff was pretty helpful when I asked for a shoe size and Nike release dates. All in all, they have one of the largest selection of Nikes in the Bay. Their tees are unique and their newest collaboration with Bathing Apes looked amazing in person. Definitely a great spot to check out if you're on the hunt for rare shoes. read more

Liars! Liars! Liars! There is absolutely no business ethics with this group at this location. A group of Jordan collectors were camping out a day before the Origin 1 release, 12/15 when it came time to opening an associate blatantly lied to us and said they were not receiving the product. I called every other udftd location and said they would be carrying the Origin 1s in store. Now after leaving the vicinity of the location to lineup for another shoe release I receive confirmation from a friend who lives next to the sf undftd location that they were selling the Origin 1s. I call the manager up and he says he had no idea they were receiving the shoes and just happened to have them shipped to them the day of at 630 in the morning. We were camped out during those hours for crying out loud , so how can you not know if you were receiving the shoes or not???? They are lying to save themselves their own pairs. I've been to a lot of street wear stores around the world, but this UNDFTD store has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. There were 3 people behind the cashier counter when I walked in yesterday afternoon (Sunday). In fact, the only female salesperson was eating a bag of chips while customer were walking in and out of the store. No one was greeted; no one was asked if they needed a size or help. This UNDFTD may have a great selection of sneakers and clothes, but as a paying customer, I won't spend my money in your store if your employees treat me like I'm invisible or like they're better than me. read more

The customer service at this place is as terrible as I have ever experienced. The salespeople are rude (way beyond the typical indifferent, too-cool-to-serve types found in other stores like this), with poor attitude and a condescending air that would make you think they are selling fine wine instead of some over-priced kicks. It is a level of rudeness that makes you want to start a boycott. Who do these people think they are. I finally got the chance to visit this location after a month and a half since it's been opened. Parking here is really hard to find considering it took my boyfriend and I about 15 minutes or so. We were literally there for 2 minutes and left. We were there for the clothes but they did not have a lot of variety of shirts and crew necks that we were used to seeing from the Vegas location. Very much like its pre-existing Southern California locations. The brand's sports-centric theme is very much apparent as an athlete mural hovers above a literal wall of sneakers. Footwear from men to women, Nike to Vans and everything in-between, Undefeated (and its in-house label of apparel) is sure to cater to both locals and visitors. Well I was truly surprised by UNDFTD. Most times, you walk into a "streetwear" store like this and get met with mean looks. This is NOT the case with Undefeated. The wait was nothing when I got there at around 4, but it's well worth it. The product is absolutely phenomenal, as far the the footwear goes. The clothing is awesome, too. Undefeated has always been an awesome brand and the customer service they offered will keep me coming back. Besides Atlas in San Mateo, This WILL be my next campout spot for big releases. I've been hitting up UNDFTD since it was just the Santa Monica and Le Brea locations. I was sad to see HUF leave the city , but we were promised that a reliable brand would come and take the torch. We heard the rumors in the beginning , and soon after Eddie Cruz confirmed with some pics on the blog . UNDFTD is a solid label. Like most brands they started w t-shirts and blew up to a full line for every season . Their goal has always been to create an alternative to the cookie cutter routine of the bigger corporate sneaker stores. I think they achieved that goal way before they opened this location. I came here a few days ago and got a pair of keds. After wearing them once, they'd shredded the back of my ankles to the point that I was almost bleeding. I came back to ask if I could exchange it for a bigger size and I was turned down because I wore them. If I had never worn them, how would I know they don't fit? Considering they are a new business, they should stand behind their products and work with their customers to figure out an alternative. Now I'm stuck with a pair of useless shoes that cut up my feet and mad that I wasted my money. These $40 shoes came out to be almost $60 after all the money I spend on bandages.
