I really can't express how grateful I am for this business and what they've done for me and my fur baby. I want to start off by saying if you're looking for a place that will truly take care of your pet, this is the place for you. They are sweet, compassionate and all around amazing human beings. My newly adopted dog, Zero, has spent a good portion of his life being neglected. It was obvious in the way his fur was matted, overgrown, overheating and causing this poor little pup a lot of discomfort. I was extremely desperate to get him shaved at the very least (because he was not able to be bathed due to his recent neuter operation), so I called around the county and every single groomer told me no. They didn't want to get their equipment dirty.....WHAT?! Don't groomers clean their equipment after grooming anyway??? I felt entirely defeated and called Underdog when I found them on google, expecting to be turned down yet again. I was pleasantly surprised that they agreed to see my pup regardless of the state of his fur. They assured me they'd see us ASAP and would take good care of my pup. Let me tell you-- when I went to pick him up, I didn't even recognize my own dog (in the best possible way)! They shaved him down completely (as requested) and he came out looking so much happier than when I brought him in! He was very comfortable in the environment and I could tell he felt so much better after getting some TLC from his new favorite groomers. I almost wanted to cry because they made both Zero and I feel so comfortable, and I was so overwhelmed by their compassion, communication and hospitality. Truly exceeded any and all expectations! If the staff sees this, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I almost cried when I picked him up. It's so nice to know that there are people here that are actually in the industry to make our dogs feel good, rather than just the money. Please pay attention to you pets! My fur baby didn't want to go in for her first appt. I should've paid better attention to her; her hair cut was horrible and patchy. She went in for summer cut with Karen face; her rear had chunks of hair that wasn't cut that was at least 3 inches long, hair was super choppy. My dog came back sad and hasn't been quite right since we got home. She flinches at me now (VERY NEW AND ANGERSOME) and to make matters worse,You get charged before you see your baby, I had them recut her hair, second cut was much worse. I even took her home only to find FLEAS!!! I wish I could ask for my money back! I didn't even take pictures of my puppy because she looked so sad and choppy. The 70 dollars I paid feel like a waste of money. If you like to take pictures of your fur puppy, You might reconsider the groomer. I have a standing appointment every three months with her regular groomer. Lesson learned!!! read more

Greeted with smiles from Receptionist and Groomers. Really nice groomer took our girl and made her look how we wanted. They have kennels for the dogs so they are separated which is what we wanted to prevent those accidents you here about. They told us it could be a 3 hour wait at the time just due to being really busy but our girl was done in and hour and 20 mins and they notified us right away. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! I took my dogs here on 8/4 and a few days later my dog was whining continuously. I have my normal groomer that my dogs go to since they were puppies but had to branch out being that they were on vacation. Long story short they cut my dogs tail pretty badly. It wasn't visible right away because he's a long haired dachshund. I finally got an appointment for the vet and they told me he was cut by shears and they can see that because of the bruising. That cut on his tail ended up getting infected really bad and now he's on antibiotics. I called Underdog today after I left the vet to explain what happened. I spoke with Pamela on the phone and she was really rude. She tried to blame me for "not noticing sooner" after I explained to her my dog had been in pain and was cut by their groomer. Her answer was "Nikki isn't here anymore" and then she frustratedly asks me "what is it that you want!" As if a refund would make my dog better. This is not how you treat paying customers. No empathy. No sympathy was expressed AT ALL. Shame on you. You can keep the $65. I wasn't asking for it back, a simple "we apologize, how can we correct this for you" and instead I was met with a combative person. I WILL NEVER be taking my dogs here again. And I will be sharing with the people that recommended this place to me. And sharing this with anyone i come across. Update: I do not neglect my dogs. And talk about being accusatory! That's a bold statement to make. I took two dogs in that day and the dog that your groomer injured was not matted on his tail. My smaller dog was matted on her back legs as no matter what we do she always gets matted because she licks her hind legs a lot. She is a long haired dachshund and that plays into that as well. Anyways, the cut was on his tail and his tail never gets matted. My tone was not accusatory to begin with. But when you are met with a rude person that was not in the least bit concerned about what I was saying it was frustrating and upsetting. I did not speak with you, Mario (shop owner), when I called so seeing you reply in this manner is disappointing. You are simply going off of hearsay from your employee. Had you taken some time out of your day to at least reach out to me, we could have had a conversation about the issue and I could've explained it better than the person that relayed this information to you. No one from your business has ever reached out to me after my initial phone call. The things you are stating about the fleas and that I said my dog had fleas is incorrect. Simply not true. I mentioned to Pamela that I had taken my dog to the vet for shots and mentioned his tail to which they checked him for fleas but did not find any. At that point, since he went just for his shots, if I wanted him to be seen I would need to make an appointment. The soonest appointment I got was two weeks later. After his appointment is when I called Underdog. If Mario wants to give me a phone call I will gladly share my dogs vet notes from his visits. Also, I didn't "demand" anything. When your employee Pamela (girlfriend) stated to me in her rude tone "what is it that you want" that's when I stated to her "You guys need to take responsibility for what happened" I was not asking to be compensated or asking for a refund. Simply to inform what one of your groomers had done to my pet. And to think, this could all have been prevented only if the person you have answering your phones was a bit more compassionate, had customer service skills and took the time to actually listen to customers. read more
