My order: iced maple latte The review: I downed that thing in like 5 minutes. The maple latte was tremendous. I asked for less milk. I loved their beans, so I decided to buy a bag of the espresso roast. They also have single origin roasts, which I would love to try if I'm ever back here. The place is a walk up window with a very small patio, and it seems like back in the day, it used to be a place that you could walk inside. As for staff, there was one singular man making everyone's coffees and also bagging up coffee beans. Hats off to that guy (the owner? unsure). Really glad we stopped here, and I highly recommend making the stop if the line isn't too long. read more

First we walked up to the door and it was locked/closed, looked around and couldn't figure out how to get in. Another lady pulled into the lot and went to get a coffee, she was gone a while so we started walking back and she had coffee on hand. Thankful she told us it was the little window in the building that you order from. Poor design, maybe some signage that states you order there as three younger girls showed up and same thing happened to them. Anyway, coffee was meh.. we got the iced maple lattes. Way too much milk in the latte and the coffee was really bitter. Won't be going back. We started heading south and found a little coffee shack on the side of the road in Newfane with a bigfoot attached, coffee there was so much better! read more

This place is literally a whole in the wall with great coffee and great service. Being the ex-New Yorker that I am, I came here because I heard the coffee was good. Well, it is! I also thought it is the kind of coffee shop where I can get my laptop out and work. It is not. There is some nice seating outside. In case of rain or strong sun there are sun umbrellas there. There is a heater above the order window for winter months (I assume...). No wifi. If you want to come here to get work done, it's not the ideal place for it. The elements and nature will get to you. If you want to come with a friend to enjoy quality cup of joe - this place is for you. They have great service - my kids kept demanding a coffee as well and ended up with some milk In espresso cups which made them very happy. I have tried several coffee places in the surrounding area and was not impressed. This one is the best one by far. If you are a coffee lover, this stop is a must. Enjoy! read more

I ordered a black iced coffee this morning after seeing the Five Star Yelp rating. Presently, Ungrounded works kind of like the Dairy Queen window. You order at the window. Some magic happens in the back. And you get your beverage. Ungrounded Coffee is in a cluster of businesses that also include a craft beer store, a pizza place, a florist that served good looking baked goods and a casual burger place. My iced coffee was just OK for me. It tasted like a South American blend. It didn't have any significant flavors to note. I suspect ungrounded is one of the better options in the area, but it's not among the better iced coffees I have had this year. Three Stars. read more

As a home coffee roaster and self-taught Coffee Sommelier, I want to share that there is nothing not to love about this Coffee Hut. The Owner/Barista/Roaster hails from a country that has loved excellent coffee longer than America. Australia gifted us with the flat white no matter what St*arbucks has led you to believe. The coffee, espresso, and coffee-based drinks are made to the highest standards and would be in the running for a prize at any Barista competition. I am a double Espresso and coffee person, but I had heard so much about the maple latte that I had to try it to see what the roar was about. The coffee here is amazing, I highly recommend their iced maple latte. I do suggest going online to find out their hours for the day as they do tend to close in the early afternoon. The Rawsonville Roost is set up with a few different shops; it's a perfect place to stop by for a bite to eat or a quick coffee pick me up. In addition to the underground coffee bar, there is a bakery/florist shop, a pizzeria/Asian food kitchen and a craft beer shop. Maple latte with oat milk was perfect. Delicately balanced with the coffee without overpowering sweetness. I drove here 2 days in a row to get it. Their hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows was a nice winter warm up as well. Coffee is roasted in house and smelled amazing..lightly roasted more blonde to medium. Quaint little space serving amazing coffee out of a take out window. Super nice gentleman busting his butt off slinging drinks. Iced Maple Latte ($4.69) was fantastic and you can request the # of shots and how sweet you prefer your drink to be. Shares the building with a shop that had gifts and some pastries so you have some options to grab a bite too, but very limited. Beans to go too with 2-3 options and they sell out fast. read more

Best coffee ever! We were on vacation in Vermont and stopped by to get a cup of coffee and few bags to take home. The owner/ barista is very passionate about what he does and very patient. We made our order complicated, he didn't say a word and accommodated it. We ordered a few more bags to be mailed in since our trip to VT, and will keep ordering. We live in South Florida and have access to great coffee - Cuban etc. But this one beats them all. read more

This is a great coffee place for both coffee and espresso. There is also a craft beer store next door, which makes this little corner one of my favorites in Vermont! Service isn't super fast, but that is totally okay because you know they are taking the time to make awesome coffee for you by fresh grinding the beans, pulling the espresso, and paying attention to ALL details. I love and appreciate all high end coffee and trying new stuff. I live in San Francisco and have access to tons of high end coffee here, and this little spot in Vermont matches or beats all of them! read more

I'll make this very short and to the point. Amazing coffee (maple latte) no sugar added or needed, it was perfect. Girl friend had a hot chocolate with maple added and they added marshmallows to it, the large real kind lol. Too sweet for my taste but she loved it, even stated best she has ever had.
