The nurses there are very knowledgeable. The receptionist greets you with happiness and just spills any nervousness you have.

I am almost one…read moremonth post-op from my tummy tuck and Lipo 360, and my experience from consultation through recovery has been phenomenal. After meeting with several plastic surgeons, Dr. Motakef immediately stood out. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine bedside manner made me feel comfortable from the start. Rather than rushing me toward surgery, he took the time to get to know me, ask thoughtful questions, and truly understand my goals and concerns. That level of care and patience made all the difference and reassured me that I had found the right surgeon. I've also been receiving my lymphatic massages with Brooklyn and Stephanie, and they have both been amazing. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and have made my recovery so much more comfortable. One thing that has impressed me the most is Dr. Motakef's continued involvement throughout my recovery. He frequently stops in during my lymphatic massage appointments to check on my healing, answer my questions, and make sure everything is progressing well. I've heard from many people whose surgeons only see them during scheduled post-op visits, so this level of ongoing care has meant so much to me. Dr. Motakef truly cares about his patients, and it shows in every interaction. I couldn't be happier with my experience, and I highly recommend him and his incredible team to anyone considering plastic surgery.

Do not let this fool you, he has many years of experience. Kelsie was also present during my in-person consult which I appreciated. Dr. M was professional , realistic and also provided great feedback of how to reduce surgical risks and complications. BMI needs to be under 30, ideally. We then discussed using GLP-1 products to get my weight down. The more I lose, the better. He stressed the importance on safest patient outcomes and achieving the desired look the first time around. He has seen many people come in thinking they are going to look one way after surgery, however, it is not a realistic expectation. He tries to explain through this with each consult to prevent any unrealistic expectations post surgery. I had two particular questions about 1) can other procedures be done with a tummy tuck and 2) why do some women still have a pouch like appearance after a tummy tuck. He patiently and thoroughly explained the difference between subQ fat and visceral fat, and the areas near major organs that he would not be able to lipo due to safety considerations. This is the reason why it is important to get the BMI below 30 so I do not have to do a re-do in the future. The quote I received was higher than 2 other consults I had but it is definitely a more well rounded approach to address mid trunk problem areas. Even though I am not going through surgery at this time, I would consider it in the future. He is a kind, down to earth, confident, professional and knowledgeable surgeon.

Dr. Kozak knew and our annual wellness visit turned into a very special visit where Dr. Kozak spent so much time talking with my daughter about how my daughter is dealing with all this and her social and emotional well being (also difficult in these tween years). I can not tell you how much I appreciated this thoughtful approach to the whole wellbeing of a child's health. It brought tears to my eyes (and also my daughter's eyes) as Dr. Kozak really honed in on some of her big emotions. I can not recommend Dr. Kozak enough if you want a Dr. that doesn't just look at numbers but actually SEES your child for who they are and how best to support them.

Dr. Kozak's knowledge and experience shows in the way she treats her patients, and in the way she communicates with parents. When Dr. Kozak feels that there is an issue that needs to be handled by another provider, she has a vast network of specialists to refer to. We have never been steered in the wrong direction by her, in her advice, care, and recommendations to outside providers. I know that over the last year or two, she's had some changes in her office staff. While I have had very few negative interactions with her and her staff, we've always been able to get appointments, refills and referrals in a timely manner. If you are lucky enough to be able to have her see your child, take that chance!

I decided to see Jason because he was Korean and it would not cause a language barrier for my mom to understand everything. Also i paid out of pocket for an appointment which shows he probably thought i couldn't afford treatment. He comes in flashes a flashlight in my nose and says you probably have sleep apnea. He assigned me a sleep study and sent me off with a nose spray. When my mom would ask a question he would look annoyed and interrupt her mid sentence. After the sleep study i came to follow up with him and he said you have sleep apnea and there's nothing you can do besides buy a cpap machine. I said what about surgery, he said no it'll make it worse. I was so shocked how disengaged he was and how cold he sounded, like i was a fly pestering him. So i said okay and spent 1000 on a machine. After months of trying the cpap and failing, i couldn't do it anymore. I changed my insurance to PPO and found another ENT doctor. He FULLY examined everything from ears, mouth, and put a camera in my nose to give a thorough exam. The doctor concluded it was because of my tonsils that were overly large and was blocking my airways and that i needed a tonsillectomy. Which i did and my sleep apnea was gone like that. Thank you Jason for rejecting me because i was able to get fully healed besides believing that nothing else could be done for me. Don't ever doubt yourself and go get second opinions always.
