These guys are great!! I have been using Unipest for over two years now. They provide routine treatments as well as any emergency interventions! They have treated my two properties for termites, silverfish, rats, spiders, gophers and wasp nests. All it takes is one phone call to Craig and you are on the schedule as soon as the next day (even same day sometimes!!!) Not only will Cardon treat the problem, but he will also teach you about what attracts the "bugs" and what you can do to deter them. Two months is way too long of a time frame for me to be patient, because they tell me to wait as with each spray, I will see more ants because that means the chemicals they're using is working-- LMAO ! I just discovered that I had mouse/mice problems last week. Everyday I was picking up mouse/mice poop. Frustrated with the situation and after asking my neighbor what to do, she recommended Unipest to me. I called them up and the next day (April 26) Cardon, the owner, came in my house to look at the problem. He told me that day that he will set up mouse bait stations on Saturday (April 30). That night (April 26), the situation got worse, the mouse (maybe mice) was eating my chocolates and bread off my kitchen counter. I called Cardon the morning of the 27th and he told me he was coming by my house to hook me up with the snap traps. He actually wanted to come right away but I was already at work. Fast forwarding to today (April 29), Cardon came to my house at my convince and set up three traps. I decided to dine out for dinner with my family and turn off all the lights as advice. When I came home, Cardon's trap killed the bastard! I honestly think that I have only one mouse in the house, but I still have two live bates. Cardon is coming back for our scheduled appointment this Saturday. With this being said I would strongly recommend Unipest to those looking for fast results and great customer service. Cardon, the owner of Unipest is the most honest person you'll meet in this industry. There are so many people that are not straight-forward with you and it's frustrating enough when you already have a massive rat problem. He came out within a few hours of speaking on the phone and he was on time! Very rude lady who answers the phone! I had first requested a 3 month service but when the technician came out, I decided to have service every 2 months. Technician said no problem, I didn't need to call the office, he would take care of changing the billing and service schedule. When I was billed the higher amount, I called the office. The lady who answered the phone was very rude, told me I should have made my decision at time of invoice. So I said they could return in 3 months, then change to 2 months. She rudely said she would refund the difference and hung up on me, not allowing me to explain that the technician said he would take care of everything. I initially started my search for gopher control places which run extremely high! I stumbled on Unipest on Yelp and thank goodness I did. Not only do they offer monthly or bi-monthly services for gopher control, but it also includes ants, spiders, roaches, etc... It's a one stop shop for a reasonable price! The response time is quick and everyone I've spoken to is always knowledgeable and pleasant. These guys left me hanging when I needed them most. Im so disappointed because I read all of the reviews and went with them because it seemed liked they gave EVERYONE good customer service. I called them on 12/21/2020 to explain that my wife and 2 children were hearing movement in the attic at night. Kylie said that she would contact Craig, the owner, and he would get back to me quickly. No one called on the 21st, so I called them back on 12/22/2020 and goat the machine, so I left a message. Today 12/23/2020 I called and spoke with Kylie again. She said that she had just gotten in and that she needed to leave early the on the 22nd. I explained to Kylie again my issue and she said that Craig was in Florida and the everyone else was a at another location but that she or Craig would call me back. That was about 3.5 hours ago. Ive called several times since only to get the machine. My guess is that they are closed now and have left me to figure out how to deal with this on my own...right before the holidays. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! About 2 1/2 years ago I was referred from a dear neighbor to Unipest since they took good care of their pest control issues and they've have them for years. Disregarding there negative comments on "yelp." I called and scheduled the visit. They informed me "per this referral they agreed to give us the grandfathered price of $59 every two months in which included inside of my home, outside of my home, backyard and garage." I was honestly thrilled and thankful and they specifically said " your dear neighbor Jerry and Saundra have been our clients for a long time that's why we are providing this price...." I was grateful and appreciated the discount. I was pretty content with there services this year. January 2019 I communicated that " it would be best for me to call and schedule service instead of them coming unannounced due to our work schedule.." Unfortunately, the memo was not communicated, there servicemen came 2-3 times unannounced after I clearly communicated. I called and re explained that I would schedule the service. The next and last service was the first week of June 2019. I spoke to the two servicemen and I informed them "spray is needed inside my home,garage and backyard." After 30 minutes I noticed a bill in my mailbox and they were gone. I called and left message confused as to why they just left after I communicated to them what Needed to be addressed. A few hours later I received a call from the owner from UNIPEST "apologizing about the incident and assured me that they would schedule a visit within this week." The next business day I spoke to a RUDE, DISTASTEFUL, UNPLEASANT, UNPROFESSIONAL LADY that clearly went on a rant stating "that her men would never do that, we will not schedule additional services for you" and to top it off she said " I DONT KNOW WHY WE ARE CHARGING YOU SO LITTLE!! There's no record stating anything on your file!!" I was in shock with the lack of unprofessionalism, deeply upset and felt extremely disrespected after having a pleasant conversation with the owner. This RUDE, DISTASTEFUL, UNPLEASANT, UNPROFESSIONAL LADY should be fired!!! There needs to be a better way of record keeping and remove people that are toxic to your business!!!! After this incident I terminated my services with UNIPEST.... Listen up people in the SCV or surrounding areas do your homework and avoid this pest control company!!!!! We just moved to the area about 6 months ago. Our first issue was gophers, and Unipest came to the rescue with a next day appointment. We decided to continue with them for maintenance pest control (every 2 month service), and have found the entire staff to be very pleasant and easy to work with. We were in the process of selling our house and had another company come out and do a termite inspection. They found some Section 1 items that needed to be repaired and gave us a quote. We thought it would be a good idea to get a second opinion and called Unipest based on their Yelp rating. Cardon was able to come out the next day and gave us a better price on the work, which he was able to schedule for the following day. After watching his guys work all day I couldn't believe what a thorough and amazing job they did. They basically built a new pergola. They went above and beyond going to get matching paint and painting the new structure without being asked (the other company wasn't going to do it). Cardon is a funny guy but knows his stuff. The overall service including the price is good. Ants were gone right away after their first visit. One thing to complain : they lied to us about clean-up the dead rat. When we signed up and when they came in to install the rat trap with a poison we asked twice what we should do with a dead rat if happened. They said to not touch and call them to visit and clean up. So we called them after having a dead rat in our backyard (right next to the rat poison trap - seemed to be effective) they refused to come over and told us to dump it by ourselves. Though we have no problem doing it they shouldn't have said they would take care. read more

I had them spray my house and after they came the last time I continued to see bugs and spiders - I called to have them come out and respray. I need to be home since we have a locked backyard. The scheduled to come out within a 2 hour time frame and never showed up or called until I called them and rescheduled. I then rescheduled for the following week and they missed that appointment too! I HATE companies like this that are unreliable and unprofessional. I think its horrible customer service to have a client wait around for hours on 2 separate occasions and then not show.
