They work quickly but do a thorough job -- my carpets always look great when they're done. With a busy family and two cats, my carpets really need the extra care, and these guys always deliver. They're a small local business and stay pretty busy, which makes sense given how good they are. I just plan ahead because I'd rather wait for someone I trust to do the job right and for a competitive price. I've even recommended them to my mom, who's particular about her home and who she lets in -- she's been just as happy with their work. I try to support minority owned businesses whenever I can. On August 27th of 2025, I hired Unique Carpet Cleaning Services, LLC to clean three bedrooms, a flight of stairs and hallway and to stretch the carpet in the hallway. Roderick, the owner, and his assistant were in and out of my house in about an hour. After cleaning, the carpet still had stains and an odor. And, the carpet in the hallway was not stretched. When I contacted Roderick about my concerns, He advised me to keep the ceiling fans and the ac running. I did. The odor persisted. He agreed to re-clean the carpet when he came back to stretch the carpet. On September 19th 2025, he re-cleaned the carpet, but midway through, his equipment broke down. He took it outside to work on it and returned to finish the job. However, the carpet still had an odor. Once again, he advised me to keep the ceiling fans and ac running. I did for a week. There was still an odor. So then, instead of him taking responsibility for the carpet not being cleaned properly, he attributed the odor to the padding or worn carpet instead of his cleaning practices and faulty equipment. The carpet was still within its lifespan. And if he felt that the carpet could not be cleaned when he arrived, he should have informed me. He did not say anything. He rushed and did an unprofessional job and did not properly clean the carpet. I left messages on his phone and I contacted him in writing, with no resolution. Then, I contacted the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) who reached out to him on my behalf. He gave them some excuse about some personal issues that he was going through. At this point, the other options include this review, filing a complaint with the BBB or heading to Small Claims Court. I am incredibly disappointed because they have taken my money (via Groupon) and then ghosted me. Approximately a week in advance, they confirmed an appointment with me to clean one area rug for this past Saturday at 0900. They never showed up, and didn't answer my calls. I left two voice messages over the course of the last week, and they have not returned my call to reschedule. I explained on my voicemail that I am moving this week, so time is of the essence, and yet nothing. This seems remarkably unprofessional, as though they now realize they can simply take the money for my groupon and then never perform the service, as I won't be in this state for more than another couple days. The most charitable reading of this situation is that they are incredibly disorganized, but the worst is that they are dishonest. A missed appointment, if truly an accident, is forgiveable, (even with the crazy schedule impacts it has had for me to keep my entire living room area rug uncovered with items as I am moving, on the off chance they return my call and can come out). But if they are knowingly screening my calls so that I just disappear in a few days to another state and hopefully forget about the whole thing, that is a rude, disrespectful, dishonest way of running a business, and I will find every platform to slam them on via negative review so no one else finds themselves in this position. I'd strongly recommend not buying from them, nor buying their groupon. Buyer beware. read more

Awful experience. I've never had to write a negative review on any business before. First off, it took over 2 weeks to get an appointment. But because I already paid for the service via Groupon, I was committed. No problem, I scheduled an appointment time/date. However, 2 weeks later, no one showed up! What made it worse, no one even called. I figured he would call to let me know what happened and reschedule. Over a week went by w/o a call. I had to call the company to find out just what happened?? Was finally able to speak w/ the owner who apologized but gave no valid reason for the 'no show.' But instead, only offered to reschedule to which I (regrettably) agreed to. Moving fwd, the day before i was scheduled to have the service done, the Owner calls me back to ask me remind him of the date/time he had me scheduled! The rest of the conversation went down hill after that via his arrogance. I'm not sure where/who his positive reviews are coming from? Very regretful hiring these men to clean our carpets. We had some coffee and pet urine stains we had mentioned needed to come out to which the customer service rep confirmed they could handle. She said it'd cost around $150 for 3 rooms and 3 flights of stairs. When they got here they said $185 because of one pet urine stain and one coffee stain, both of which they failed to improve upon. They also said the carpets would take 6-7 hours to dry. This was yesterday at 2 pm. It is now the next day at 5:30 pm and they are still wet...every floor. Add to that they tripped a wire so now some of our lights don't come on on all three floors. And they weren't at all careful with the water spilling everywhere from their heavy duty vacuum. After they left our bathroom and walkway were soaked and had to clean up after them. We literally have to turnaround and hire someone better qualified and more professional. The company did outstanding work!!! We have two small dogs and the carpet was previously soiled with dog urine and so much dirt that the water extracted from soiled carpet was dark brown. They treated with pet enzyme spray and the odor/smell came out, and the carpet looks so much better. Additionally they thoroughly cleaned two area rugs. We also asked for installation of new carpet padding we had bought separately and they were able to install with no problem (removing the old padding and replacing our carpet). They did a much better job than some of the other ,carpet cleaning competitors we've used before, and the prices are really reasonable. They seem genuinely concerned about pleasing their customers and will communicate what they assess to match expectations. We Would use again and refer friends and family. I hired them to clean my carpets. The total was going to be $175. I was going to pay cash and had $240 in my nightstand in the bedroom. The bedroom was one of the rooms they cleaned. I go to get them money and it's gone. I had just put that money there right before they came so I know it was there. They STOLE it. We called the cops but they said there was nothing that could be done cause it is he say she say. The cleaning guy said the service was free and the packed up the car in 10 seconds and left. They didn't even try to negotiate payment which to me shows guilt. If you were innocent you would still look to get paid for the service. Their goal was to get me to pay, than a few days later realize I was missing money. They never planned for me to say that was the money I was going to pay them with. I purchased a groupon from them based off the reviews. I realize now that the reviews are only from people that went through with the service, so it explains the high rating on that platform. Anyway, my couch was slightly larger than the 8 feet that the voucher stated (I knew this), but it came with a free hallway cleaning that I was going to trade. He stated it didn't, until I showed him on the app and my receipt. I even saw that others had received that service per the reviews, but he (the owner) didn't want to do it. I had a problem tenant who left without cleaning my basement rental and nearly ruined by new carpet and area rug with heavy stains and ground in dirt. Rod and Tracey miraculously removed all of the dirt and heavy stains from the carpet and area rug, and deep cleaned the basement apartment. My carpet and basement look great.
