Searching high and low for a beautiful translucent pink gel nail and I finally found it!! Great mani and pedi by Sue. My new place for nail care. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So happy with everything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sue is so nice and personable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You won't be disappointed.

Sue has been doing my nails for a few years at this point and does a fantastic job any time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not only a talented nail artist, but also a lovely person.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love my monthly chats with her as much as I love getting a mani.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She is always up for trying the newest nail trend or design I find! She is also extremely reasonably priced with a full set of Arcylics around 75 and fills around 60. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On the rare occasion of a break or issue, she's is able to squeeze me in often.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely call to scheduled you appointments as she does work alone, but you will not regret it! Sue does a great job on my nails every time. I love her work!

This used to be my go to nail salon but the past few months my experience has not been good. My nails chip the next day, I've tried both gel and dip powder. This has happened multiple times and Sue has now told me to stop coming in to fix the chipped nails. I work a desk job so there is no reason my polish shouldn't stay. I'm not sure if it is the products that the salon is using or something else. She will also stop working on your nails to work on someone else (frequently double books) or to answer the phone. She also frequently speaks on the phone while doing your nails. Her prices also keep going up but the service and quality of your nails goes down. There are much better options in West Hartford at a better price.

I called and was able to get an appointment later that day! I've been to Sue before for pedicures and finally let her have some fun with my nails. She is very knowledgeable of the different colors and shapes that work best, especially when you have to maintain professionalism at work. We discussed the shapes and colors, and I showed her a reference photo, and she was able to recreate it and added a little of her twist to it. They turned out great, and I was so happy! I love coming here because Sue is very personable; she likes to talk and get to know the people she sees. It's refreshing to have a conversation with someone, rather than sitting quietly for however long! If you're looking for someone to take care of your needs, go see Sue!

This place is certainly uniquely trash. The owner kicked us out because she did a terrible job on my child's nails and we spoke up about it. We could distinctly see the dirty fill in line and she refused to fix it without charging us again. She insisted the nails were "nice" but we insisted they weren't, we have images. She cursed us out as well, and she is racist. She called me the n-word in Mandarin. Don't walk.. RUN away from this place. She claimed to have spent 2 hours on her nails and it only took her 40 minutes tops! She also lied and originally told us the nail fill would be 35 dollars but then upped the price to over 50 dollars without our knowledge. We only knew of this as she yelled at us out the door saying, "Enjoy your 50 dollar job you will burn in hell!"

I had a great time here! All the ladies working were super nice, it wasn't loud at all and the lady who did my nails was very polite and patient with me even though I changed my color a couple times. It was a bit pricey I paid $102, but it was definitely worth it. Would 100% go back.

I have been going to Sue for my nails ever since I first moved to West Hartford in 2019. She is amazingly talented and very friendly. Her space is clean and she has endless options for services at great prices. My hands get beat up a lot on a regular basis -working in athletics -and my nails always last and look great for at least 3 weeks. Every experience I have had with her at Unique Nail has been an incredibly positive one and I would recommend her to anyone!

The main reason I love this Nail Salon is because my are forever growing cuticles get the proper grooming. All of my nails have the same shape. As well as my nail polish lasting without chipping. My go-to nail salon!! I've gone to Sue multiple times and she has amazed me each and every time. Sue is very kind and has a nice, enthusiastic personality. Sue has been doing my nails at this location for over 10 years. She's also been doing my mom's and brother's nails as well for that time. Ive never gone anywhere else for my nails even when I've moved away to Massachusetts and now California. She is the best nail tech on the East Coast and delivers quality work every single time.
