Don't waste your money. I have no idea how they have such a high rating. Honestly every 1-2 star review is exactly what I experienced. My bf and I went to this salon after having lunch nearby & NEITHER of us were happy with our pedicures. My lady cut my nails as short as she possibly could & polished them, that's about it. I had to ask her to put lotion on my feet. My bf's lady did an "eh" job, she cleaned his cuticles and didn't forget the lotion but the main reason we went to get pedicures was for him to get his ingrown nail cut, and the multiple times we asked her to do it she ignored the request. I absolutely LOVE this salon. My sister-in-law recommended me to this place. It's always clean and the staff is so friendly. Steven and Ann are always accommodating, walk ins are welcomed. Avoid. A friend reccomended this place to my granddaughter. She reccommended Steven as a tech. We called and scheduled an appointment and specified that we wanted Steven to do the work.. She bers there and they tell her it will be $99 for what she wants and not with Steven. In the end the nails are just "ok" not great, the pedicure is ineven and they charged her card $164. We will not go back and neither will the person who referred us to this place. read more

I posted a review about this place about a month ago and was raving about this nail tech named Terry. Well today was my LAST TIME coming here, let me explain why. I usually come and get my nails done during my lunch break, this place is down the street and very convenient for me. I also make my appointments in the beginning of the week, between Mon through Wednesday. Today I called trying to get a same day appointment, no biggie, it's Weds and not much foot traffic, I called and the lady told me to be there at 2:30, I arrived at exactly 2:30 and saw Terry was working on someone else's nails. I waited about 10 mins before asking Terry how long it would be ( it's natural to ask how long of a wait when you book an appointment and the person isn't readily available ) she didn't respond and another nail tech said 10 mins, naturally I was frustrated because I came right on time during my lunch and they were asking me to wait 20 mins which would narrow down my fill to a 40 min window ( mind you I always get gel and taking it off is a 15-20 process ). I simply nodded yes and didn't make my annoyance known. After 25 mins Terry was finally ready for me, she had to fix two nails and fill the rest. She did her usual thing and when she applied the tip of one of the broken nails crooked , I brought it to her attention, she said it would be fixed when she filed... well after all the filing it still wasn't fixed so I made light mention of it and she fixed it. After applying the last top coat , I asked how much it would be, she ignored me again. I went up to the front desk and the cashier told me it would be $41, I had no cash so I asked her to charge $51 and give Terry a $10 tip ( I always tip nicely ). She charged my card and after it was processed , she told me Terry no longer wanted to do my nails, I was confused and I'm sure she read it on my face, she told me terry no longer wanted to do my nails because I'm too picky and I asked her how long till she could do my nails. I was literally baffled, like how do you provide services to people and get bothered or offended when they ask you to fix something they don't like ( mind you I only asked her to fix the crooked tip she applied ) or get upset when they book an appointment and you're not ready so they ask how long it'll be?? In what world does that work. Terry is far too sensitive and doesn't belong in this line of work. When you provide a service, it's whatever the customer wants, they are the ones paying, so how can you get offended over things that come with this line of work. I've spent hundreds at this salon and I like how the lady charged my tip and then told me Terry wouldn't be doing my nails anymore. I genuinely didn't do anything out of the norm nor was I rude, I simply asked a question and made a comment on one nail. Never coming back here again. read more

After 3 days this is what my nails look like. Disgusting. You would think this because they took their sweet as time they would look and continue to look great, but no. My friend I were at this salon for at least 2 hours. Nope not waiting to get them done but sitting there through the whole process. The amount of times I told him I wanted my nails not to look "puffy" was really annoying. They still look "puffy". Really disappointed. read more

Just tried this place out yesterday. It's tucked away in the corner of the strip mall at Buena Vista and Victory and under new ownership as of 2017. I got the "Unique Spa Pedicure for $27." It was a step up from the basic for $18 as it came with the sea salt scrub and intensive callus removal. THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE AND LET ME TELL YOU WHY: - Friendly, accommodating, and clean (which should always be the case) - Tools were clean, which is a must - Large selection of polishes - Not aggressive about up-selling - All of the basins were pre-equipped with hygienic liners and I witnessed the disposal of the liner after the water portion of my pedi - The chairs were comfortable and had the extra padded lifts at the feet so that your feet can be propped up and elevated enough for an appropriate heel/callus scrub - The heel/callus scrub was ser-i-ous! Very thorough - and the scrub pumice sponge was also tossed - The sea salt scrub and lotion were both very thorough - with massage up and over the knees, each lasting for a few solid minutes. Followed by a wrap in hot towels. I felt like I was at a spa. - Midway through, following the scrubs, my towel was swapped out for a clean, fresh towel, whereas most places would fold it over and make due, if you're lucky - When I was checking out, they asked if it was my first time and I replied yes, and they reached down under the front desk and gave me a complimentary lotion. That was so nice. - I got a great pedicure (Lily was my manicurist) - They covered all of their bases, all of the little extra touches and then some. Great place, will definitely go back. read more

I went on a Saturday with an appointment and they were so packed! Seems like their business is doing well. I had acrylic added to my nails and got a pedicure. The whole experience was good. I usually get cut when I get my nails done but not here so I was happy about that. The guy that did my nails did a good job! They were friendly and polite to me. The only thing I did not like about this place was the overpowering smell of chemicals. That is what will keep me from going back. The place is rather small. I feel bad for the people working there all day smelling that stuff. I can't stand it. It gives me a headache but I know it is hard to find a nail place that doesn't have that strong smell. They honored the price they quoted me over the phone and everything looked clean to me. The massage chairs feel good while doing the pedicure as well :) read more

Went in on a Thursday afternoon the place was not busy when I got there. Shop was clean and people were nice. Decent price for mani pedi combo that's what I got. I had one lady doing my pedi she was doing fine til she made my big toe bleed squirted a whole bottle of that green stuff to make it stop bleeding. Another lady did my mani it was fine til we get to the polish part, not sure if they don't know how to polish or the polish was old and goopy which made my nails look sloppy I had them change the color and repolish. read more

Three nails were smeared shoving my feet into sandaIs to rush me out of the chair for next customer. Waited an hour with my feet in cool water. Finally get someone and she rushes through. She asked if I wanted the callous remover and I said yes. She put the stuff on my feet but didn't wrap them and immediately started to scrub them, for maybe 30 seconds per foot. Wait an hour for a 13 minute pedicure... ridiculous. Woohoo! As good as it gets for sure! I have been going to Anne for about 10 years and couldn't imagine not following her to the new salon UNIQUE NAILS AND SPA. I have found Anne to be creative and gentle while making certain that I always got the type of mani/pedi that I prefer. She remembers specifics about previous requests which results in amazing customer care! The specialists take their time with customers and take great pride in their work. I have also had the pleasure of Steven giving me mani's and pedi's, and again, talented, kind and careful. Anne and her team are delightful, talented, and they pay great attention to detail in the artistic and sanitary work. The salon is pleasant, clean and they don't overbook resulting in piling up customers just for the $$$. They have other services like waxing and massage, what I have had excellent results from. It is affordable and the chairs make it extra comfy and relaxed. I can't imagine going anywhere else that I would be confident knowing I would be getting exactly what I wanted in an environment that is warm and the customer care is their priority. First, if I could start off with giving this place a zero star I i would. I have been coming to this place for about 6 months now. If it wasn't for (Terry) mind you the best nail tech lady that I have been searching for a while. Trust me I would NOT be going to this place. The manager lady is the reason I'm NO longer coming to this place. Today, I had an appointment at 11am. She called me at 10:59am I missed her call. However, I called back and I apologized for being 6 minutes late as I couldn't find parking.!!! She tells me "Oooh, someone is doing nails your late and they can't see you"!! My first reaction was what!! I can't find parking. She said they can't do your nails. I was so upset and furious that I couldn't control my emotions. That manager needs customer service lessons!! I think owner was the person I spoke to when making appointment. Very personable. Techs seem happy here and front desk person ( not owner) was sweet with them laughing and giving hugs. Highly recommend! I was in a hurry and used Yelp! which hasn't let me down yet. Can see why the stars and reviews! Like I said, in a hurry and not only did they fit my daughter in, they used two nail techs to give her a great pedicure and manicure (with clear polish) in about 25 minutes total! Price was reasonable too, $28. Very clean place. Not a lot of parking but we parked next door at the closed restaurant. Owner, David (I think) was very friendly and helpful. read more
