I delayed this review because, well, I've been busy as hell at work, but also because I wanted to see how things held up after a while. My bathtub was refinished during MLK weekend, which was great because I was out of town for the 2 days necessary to let things set in. When I came home, my bathroom life changed. I don't know exactly when the bottom of my tub became hideous and unbearable, but I think a few little scratches eroded over time into haunting gashes waiting for me every time I showered. Taking an actual bath was completely out of the question. I knew something had to be done when I relished showers away from my home. It was easy to make the appointment, and the guys were friendly when they showed up. I'm happy to get in my shower now, and am even considering putting my precious cheeks onto the fresh surface for an actual bath (when I find time). Do I have mild OCD? Well my therapist in 8th grade suggested I might. Am I overstating the condition of my tub before the refinishing? Maybe. It matters not because now my bathtub is as smooth and shiny as a beacon on the bay, thanks to UR. read more

In 2016 I renovated a condo that had been built in 1970. At the time the shower and tub were reglazed by another company. That abysmal job was peeling and cracking within months. I contacted the owner 11/1/21 about the paint was cracking, and paint missing in some areas. The owner responded, "it was going to be a busy time during the holidays, go get silicone and place on the areas until I can get it fixed." So I did exactly that. As of today, 9/17/22, I am still waiting for him to make good on this. It's unacceptable to wait 9 months with no communication or problem never resolved. The contract states 3 years warranty for any problems on the paint job. I don't think I can hold my breath much longer. I expected better service than this. read more

Mike and his crew refinished two tubs for us. One tub was caked with a previous botched paint job. Looks like rustoleum paint. They stripped the paint and refinished the tub so the before and after photos look like night and day or yuck and new. The large tub had a few nicks and scratches and after reglazing, the tub also looks new. The crew carefully covered all fixtures and surrounding tiles and only refinished the areas requested.
