I wish I had more time to try more of the menu here. Everything I did try was amazing! The server was really friendly and the staff checked in with me a couple times to see how I was doing. It was a little empty at first because I got there like 10 minutes after opening but it filled quickly. It had a nice mix of classy and casual. I would definitely recommend for vegetarians and vegans - so many options!

We stopped by here on our way to lantern frst. This place was introduced to us by out friend who's a vegetarian. They can make food without garlic and onion. This Place is easy to find, parking is a bit harder to fine but there is a parking garage that you can park in and it is pretty close to the restaurant. Place is not busy so you get seated and greeted right away. We ordered our food and the food comes right away. Everything was seasoned right and comes out hot and delicious. A must try is the Vegan peking duck. It was crispy and plenty to share. We order all this food along with 4 more dishes and the total came out to be $131 which is REALLY GOOD and reasonable for delicious and vegan food. Also recommending the green beans as it is so good, it's crunchy, seasoned perfect, and also not as oily and soggy as other places i've eaten at. Ambiance was quiet. You can deff enjoy tour time here. We will make this out yearly place to stop by. Oh and if you have a tesla, there are super charge in the garage to so charge and by the time you finish eating., you're ready for your trip. Very convenient.

Came back less than two weeks later because I can't get enough of vegan dim sum! This time we had the same repeats as last time, just as good - with a few new items. We tried the fried sesame balls and the fried taro cakes. The fried taro cakes were fantastic, lovely fried texture and not overly oily or greasy. I also loved the veggie roast pork bun. I haven't had that dish in ages and it hit the spot, missing that type of flavor in dim sum! They also have the really good quality green tea from Taiwan, would recommend! As I write this review, I dream of my next visit..

I always wanted to try this place and glad I finally went. The place is pretty spacious, servers are attentive and friendly. We ordered steamed veg dumplings, braised lion's head (veg meatballs), and a plate of black mushrooms, bok choy, and asparagus. We enjoyed all the dishes, I especially loved the assorted veg plates. Unlike other Chinese restaurants this place did not feel the food was too salty and greasy. I would love to come back and try other dishes!

    17. Tofu Skin Braised with 2 Kinds Mushroom

Came here for a late lunch/early dinner, so it wasn't crowded at all, and we were seated right away comfortably and our servers were super attentive and helpful. I appreciate that items that are vegan and gluten-free are clearly marked as such on the menu, making it easier to make decisions about what to get. I got to try the Mapo Tofu which had a nice deep, almost smoky flavor. A little spicy with a slow burn. Went really well with the brown rice I asked to get with it. I also got the Tofu Skin Braised with Two Kinds of Mushroom ... oh my goodness, so incredibly flavorful with the richness from the mushrooms. I wanted to drink the sauce as a soup. All of that flavor had marinated into the tofu skin, which was also slightly chewy for the perfect texture. My meat-eating companions found their food enjoyable, too, which is always a plus. If I'd come with a larger group, I'd have loved to try some of their other dishes. I'm not sure if I'll be back in this area to come back here, but if I am, I'd love to try some other items.

Stopped in for the midday lunch special and highly recommend it. Great prices across the board whether you want an entree, noodle, or a lighter lunch. You also get a bowl of soup and a spring roll with lunch special, and some dishes come with rice. Nice relaxing atmosphere inside and seated quick if you want to stop in for lunch. Got the veggie lo mein which was a mighty portion for lunch. Miso soup was tasty as well. Tried the steamed taro dumpling as well and they were great. Had many bits of various veggies in them. I want to come back and try more of their dim sum options for dinner. Thanks

Allergy conscious friendly. Great notation of ingredients online which minimizes worry for those with allergies. Option provided on DoorDash to note allergies. So many menu options to choose from. Ready in a timely manner. Packed securely. Awesome portion. Pocket friendly pricing. Fresh ingredient's & great flavor.

The service is great. The waitress welcomed me with a big smile. The interior design is very unique. It is simple and minimum so it is in line with the simple, easy, back to nature spirit of veg cuisines. The jasmine tea is authentic and strong. My main dish - sesame seitan is so so. The sesame smells good, but the seitan is too hard to chew. It doesn't have any taste.

Absolutely love this all vegan dim sum place! I've been here a few times and really enjoying all the different dim sum options. I really usually like the scallion pancakes, the tofu and all the dumplings they have. They had this really good barbecue seitan this time which we really enjoyed. It's also BYOB!

As good as vegetarian food can be. The meat substitutes were not a one for one replacement, but they made do with having good flavor. The food is very light and clean, and is a perfect cleanser for when you have a cold or a bad hangover.

REVIEW UPDATE: We had dinner at Unit Su Vege before the Air concert at The Met Philadelphia a few weeks ago. Nothing has changed since my last review- it's still one of our favorite eateries in Philly offering a large variety of tasty, vegan Asian dishes on their menu. So good!

    Olivia G.

Omgsh! Came here for a girl's night dinner and it did not disappoint!! I think we ordered half the menu All of the food was DIVINE and the fact it's BYOB was *chef's kiss* perfection. The service was incredible and allowed us to yap and gab on our rainy evening out. Inside it was clean and spacious considering the size of the restaurant. You can tell they do a lot of take out orders, but worth checking out to sit down once in a while too. The best part... It's VERY RESONABLE IN PRICE!! We spent $100 on all the food we ordered and tipped generously for their time and attention. Well worth it for a veg/vegan Chinese place! Will be back for sure

I recently went to Unit Su Vege in Philly. I loved the vibe here accompanied by friendly service. I went with the sizzling tofu claypot with brown rice. Ample portions and very tasty dish with a good mix of tofu and vegetables. Recommended.

The homemade DanDan noodles were our favorite, which are served with ground pork in a spicy peanut sauce. We also got the three cup chicken which was so good, with a sweet, licorice-like glaze. Some other favorites were the black pepper chicken and the long hot chicken, if you enjoy spice. We had the ginger and scallion dish and was not our favorite, as the chicken had a unique consistency and was quite limp. Overall, good service and a relaxing ambiance in a bustling city.

Unfortunately the experience at pickup wasn't the best. I asked if they had included utensils and the gentleman at the counter said no. I asked for some since I was bringing the food back to my hotel and wouldn't have anything to eat with. He was pretty dismissive and didn't seem to want to give me anything. (I also didn't get any napkins.) Just a little strange when ordering takeout, utensils should be included right? Or at the very least be readily given out when requested? He begrudgingly gave me 2 pairs of chopsticks and a fork, said he ran out of spoons. I didn't notice the lack of napkins until I got back. Now for the food. We ordered dan dan noodles, a chicken lo mein, and Taiwanese minced pork rice. The noodle dishes were decent but the lo mein was a bit too al dente for our liking...especially for our young son. Didn't get a chance to eat the rice because we were all too full from the noodles. Appreciate the generous portions at least. Will see if the rice will make it home safely with us and reheats well. Can't speak on the ambience. Wasn't in there long enough to really look around. Will I order from them again or try in person in the future? I'm not sure. I wasn't blown away by the food or service so...

On this cold almost summer day, Nan Zhou was hustling and bustling. Separate parties at the same round table and clients coming in and out of the restaurant facade. Warm lighting and active banter. I received my bowl of beef noodle soup was pretty satisfied. Beef was tender with flavorful bites of fattiness. Somehow, the meat tastes beefier than beef. The cilantro had potent herbaceous flavor with some spinach(?) and mustard greens. Noodles were pleasantly chewy w variation in texture. Lowkey, everything else was alright. I like to be nice so I'll say no more. Cucumbers were fine

This place was packed, which is always a good sign, and even with that the staff stayed super prompt and professional. The house special was my favorite. I got it with the knife-cut noodles and it was perfect with the broth. The noodles had that slightly uneven, chewy texture that really holds onto the soup. I never thought I'd be the type to talk about "mouthfeel" but here we are. The broth itself was rich and savory with a deep beef flavor, a little bit of oil on top that adds body without feeling too heavy. It's that classic, comforting Chinese beef noodle soup done really well. I added a braised egg, which had great flavor soaked into it, though it was served cold, which threw me off a bit. The mapo tofu with noodles was also really solid. It had that signature spicy, numbing kick from the Sichuan peppercorns, balanced with a savory, slightly salty sauce. The tofu was soft and silky, and mixing it with the noodles made it extra satisfying. It's got some heat but not overwhelming, just enough to keep you going back for another bite. The shrimp stir fry was lighter but still flavorful. The shrimp were cooked well, tender with a slight snap, and the sauce leaned more on the savory side with a mild sweetness. It felt like a nice balance alongside the heavier noodle dishes. Couple practical things: it's cash only, but there's an ATM right by the seating area which makes it easy. And the portions are generous for the price, so it feels like a really good deal. Overall, super satisfying spot. Busy, a little chaotic, but the food absolutely delivers. Definitely a go-to if you're craving hand-pulled noodles.

A bit on the higher priced side for this dish but as I've had some great food from a different Han Dynasty location I didn't mind trying them out. Portion size was average on the chicken. The spice level says 8/10 but it was definitely on the weaker side. Maybe the peppers themselves were older / dried out and the flavor faded too much vs fresher peppers right before cooking. Maybe a bad choice of dish or an off day but as compared to a few other Sichuan dry pepper dishes from other restaurants around Philly it was a clear step below them. Might try a different choice if I order again.
