UNITED BMW is a SHAM.. do NOT patronize this location. This place is sold me a 2018 330i basic but supposedly good car that's ended up be a piece of crap. Had 3 repairs in less than 2 months.. 1. Replaced Tire $400 2. Front Break, pads, etc $900 3. Evaporative Emissions System Leak $500 Asked repeatedly about whether car was up to code and if anything was wrong. Repeatedly got "the car is perfect.. nothing wrong.. etc.. but never produced actual paperwork. The customer service lady that set up my loaner during my last visit INSISTED I drive from my office in downtown back to dealer within a few hours when my repair was done instead of me returning the car at the end of the day when my work day was over. I told her no. After not receiving a call to let me know the work was complete, I called the dealer and asked if my car was ready so I could bring the loaner back. I was told by another person that the work was not complete and to come back in the morning. Before I could even get in the loaner in the morning before work, I got a call from said customer service rep demanding to know where the loaner was saying I was supposed to return it the day before. Completely ridiculous. Also, it is impossible to take your BMW here for service without being solicited repeatedly to trade your car in. My dad and I had found a used car online that I was interested in purchasing. This would be my third BMW, with each vehicle, I love BMW more and more. Unfortunately, both my last two cars were in accidents and ended up being totaled. Those two accidents should have left me with some sort of injury, but I managed to walk away unscathed. If that doesn't tell you something about a cars safety, nothing will. Aside from that, this was my first purchase at United BMW. We were greeted immediately upon walking in by Jean Maurilus, one of their sales representatives. This man is fantastic, my dad couldn't stop raving about him on our car ride home. Jean was personable, funny, informative, and attentive to my dads concerns and my questions. Jean made us feel immediately at home and like we were family. The following day, my dad and I went back to purchase the vehicle. We had called Jean ahead of time, and by the time we got there, my car was ready to go. All they needed from us was the payment and some signatures on various forms. He had my car ready and out in the front with a big red bow (as a 25 year old, I loved this!) I had prepared myself to be there for a few hours since I know sometimes it can take a long time to do this sort of thing. To my surprise, we were in and out after about an hour and a half. Jean spent time with me going over the cars settings, setting up my connected drive, and ensuring I was comfortable before driving off on my own. Jean is truly a fantastic sales representative. This dealership had me drive 3.5 hours to see a used car they told me was in excellent condition. I asked several times and told them to send pictures of any issues. They sent me a single image of a small scratch on the bumper. After a very long drive down to Alpharetta, the car had two cracks in the windshield, half the molding torn out of the top, nicks and scratches all over, the seats were damaged and the door handles didn't work. They then tried to sell me another used car instead (bait and switch I guess). My BF ran all over town getting appraisals for my current car and finance options - I jumped in and out of meetings while in NY to get credit applications submitted (which they wasted no time running). We offered a deposit as I was traveling and could not sign final papers in person until 9am Monday morning! Wouldn't accept it - the deal was essentially official! I initially wanted to write a review on the poor service I received from this location three services ago, each time in which I paid over $500 in services and was told the complimentary car wash was broken all three times. This last and most recent incident led to breaking the camel's back. I went to service my 2017 BMW X3 sDrive28i​ for an oil change on December 23, 2021. When I arrived at BMW, I checked in with an advisor for my appointment, I waited about an hour for the advisor to tell me all the other issues they recognized during the inspection. Considering I bought this vehicle less than a year ago, I figured, there shouldn't be many issues. However, It appears that every time I bring my BMW here for any type of service update, I am hit with an outrageous bill for other services. The advisor for my vehicle this day claimed I needed and oil change and brake fluid; they hit me with a $514.94 bill: Engine Oil Service=$199.99/Engine Air Filter=$137.72/Brake Fluid Exchange=$222.09/Shop Supplies=$17.31. I of course could not object questionable costs; the service was done and it was time to pay. BMW prices suggest that they hire some of the best engineers and technicians that operate with integrity and good faith. Unfortunately, for the last couple of services, I have noticed a decline in service. It appears this location has hired young teenagers that, "just get the job done" but lack experience and professionalism. After this expensive visit, I left and noticed everywhere I went my car was leaking oil. This was extremely odd because my car has never done this before. I immediately called back up to this location to make them aware of the problem and to set up another appointment. The advisor on the phone claimed he would make an appointment for me the next day. I arrived the next day and was told that appointment was never made. Can you imagine my frustration? Nevertheless, I waited 30min to an hour this visit. The advisor came out and told me they forgot to put a bolt and some screws in which explains why my car was leaking oil. Oops? Are you serious? I am done with receiving such cheap mechanics and labor for an expensive price tag. I have credit with Firestone and receive top tier work done by mechanics that at least have experience. I bought my car from this dealership And the purchasing process was pleasant, at least decent for a dealership. But to me a true measure of a dealership is how they treat you after the sale, and this dealer has been awful. They are completely insensitive to the fact that people take time off of work to come to service appointments only to be told to bring your vehicle back several times. I have several issues wrong with my car which I have spent hours on the phone with BMW support trying to walk through and that They couldnt figure it out. They confirmed there is something wrong with my vehicle but Service wants to send me to training before they look at it. Very frustrating. This is not the first time I leave the dealer regretting buying a BMW from them and wishing I had my Lexus back. Lexus Service Is top notch and the four times I took my Lexus in for service I left the dealer amazed at how great they were. Be VERY Careful working with this dealership unless you are OK with paying their advertised price for a quick and easy deal for their benefit. Negotiation is SNEAKY! Let me explain. I inquired about a 2018 BMW 530e which had an advertised price of $39,995. I offered $39,000 as I felt that was a fair price for that car after looking at the market and the cars value. The sales rep came back to me at $39,196 saying I would receive a discount of $799. Although not at $39,000 I thought that was a fair compromise so I was prepared to accept the deal and place the deposit immediately until I received the Bill of Sale. The BOS showed the price of $39,995 minus the discount of $799 but when I looked closer at the bottom the $799 was added back in as a "Doc Fee" so the car was the exact same price from the advertised price. I pointed this out and got no where with the sales rep. I asked to speak with the Sales Manager and he pointed out that I was receiving a discount of $799. (See the attached BOS. The blue writing was from Them). I explained my side. I felt like I was trying to be tricked and this seemed like an unethical business practice as it was most definitely a play on numbers to get what they wanted with the hope that I didn't notice or better yet just accepted it. Of course, they had all sorts of "car salesman tactics" and "reasons" why they did what they did. I understand a doc fee as almost every dealership has it but 1. $799 is excessive and 2. It just happened to be the same amount of the so called "discount" they gave me? How can anyone think that isn't sneaky or a sales tactic. Of course no dealership would ever admit it. I've purchased over 35 cars in my life and am a business man myself. I understand BS and when I'm trying to be swindled. Before writing this review I tried everything I could to give United BMW my business. I went from the sales rep to the sales manager and tried my best to get the sales manager, Chris Liu, to understand why I felt like I did. Instead of really hearing me and trying to understand and earn my business, Chris just continued to respond with what felt like, "scripted" responses. It was very evident that there was no trying to fix the situation or even offering to meet me in the middle knowing what they did was sneaky and also that I was a serious buyer. No one would want to have something like this on their reputation. I then asked to speak to the owner and Chris told me "We have no owner". Again, I know that everyone has an owner/board/investor or someone who is actively involved and it doesn't end with the GM. If that's the case the car industry is a sneaky as their reputation perceives them to be. I concluded in saying I will just write my review to warn others and enough of my time has been wasted. At that point Chris went SILENT. I'm posting this review on multiple platforms so others can be warned. I also sent a formal complaint to BMW and hope to hear back next week. To begin, we worked with Eddie, who was nothing but pleasant, knowledgeable, thorough, and most importantly not pushy. September 2021 I purchased in full a 2012 Q5. About a month of having the car I started having oil consumption issues bad. Mechanic said piston rings would likely need to be changed. Now my motor has gone bad! Mechanic said it's not worth paying $6k to get a new motor plus labor. I haven't even had the car 6months! They basically sold me a lemon, and even if I purchased an over priced extended warranty these issues would still be here! This is why women don't like car dealerships! This review is for the service department. The iDrive system on my BMW recently stopped functioning which impacted multiple critical functions to drive the car as well as the entertainment system. Earlier this year the muffler needed replacement. At the time of purchase I opted for the extended warranty and maintenance for additional costs. The BMW warranty program has worked without problems for both my car and Mark's car. We have "his and his BMW's". United BMW has treated us with consistent good service. Eric Rossman has been wonderful to work with over the years and we were sad to see him retire from the dealer. The other advisors are great but Eric was truly awesome and a master at diagnosing root cause and then facilitating repairs. Online appointments are easy to make and with advance reservations of generally five days or more, I always receive a clean new loaner car which is a great benefit. The waiting area is clean with complimentary snacks and beverages. Bathrooms are clean. Repairs and typical service have always been completed to my satisfaction. They return my cars to me washed and clean. I purchased my car here and I recommend this dealer for both sales and service. read more

I took my car in for an oil change and the service advisor tried VERY hard to pressure me into spending $640 on sparkplugs over 20K miles before the recommended service interval. As far as I know, the oil change was performed properly. With the car being out of warranty, I probably will not return to a place I don't really trust. read more

I had a fantastic buying experience with Hunter York and Rock from United BMW and wanted to share my thoughts. After doing a lot of research, I have decided to buy a BMW i4 M50. This would be my third BMW and first time buying from United. The previous BWMs that I purchased were from Global imports and Nalley, while both experience were fine, nothing stood out. I decided to go with United this time because they are not marking up any of their high in demand vehicles and have a very streamlined waiting process. When I put down the deposit in mid August, I knew that it is going to be an agonizing wait. This car is in high demand, especially the M50, due to all the Supply Chain issues plus the chip shortages. Hunter was up front with me and set the correct expectation for me (don't expect anything until April of 2023!). Hunter also told me that, if there are any cancelled allocations that are ahead of mine, he would give me a call so that I would have a chance to get a car earlier. I didn't think Hunter was actually going to follow through with but in Oct, after 2 month of waiting, he called and stated that there was 1 car available and I could purchase it if I was at the dealership. It took me a while to decide because of the exterior color and lost the car, but I was impressed that Hunter gave me the chance to purchase this car. Fast forward to early Nov, my job situation changed and need a car sooner than next year. Hunter worked with me and found an i4 M50 (with 2k miles on it) and I was able to purchase it. When I made the purchase, I was aware that there was a recall on the car from BMW and that the recall would be done the next day and I could take delivery then. But that did not happen as the battery needed to be replaced had to be shipped to United from another location. I was informed that my delivery would be delayed until the day after Thanksgiving. When I called after Thanksgiving, I was then informed that the replacement parts were Lost during transit and another one needed to be order. At this point, I was not happy with the purchasing process because I had already signed the paper work and after 2 weeks, I still dont know when I can pick up my car. I used to work at CarMax and was worried that United wasn't making my deal a priority since all this happened after the purchase. I was not the best person to deal with during these weeks and made a lot of demands, including a detailed status updates daily. Hunter and everyone at United made sure all of my demands were met and catered to my every need, even when they were unreasonable, and with a positive attitude. United has won my business for life because of my buying experience with Hunter. He deserves a raise and then some. I would recommend this place and Hunter to every car buyer! read more

DO NOT use this dealership for service. I took my 135 I in for a belt replacement. The belt was over $700. Two days after the first fix, the belt fell off again. Second trip to the dealership, they said I needed a power steering pulley. When putting in the pulley, they damaged the power steering pump. The new pump is $1700. Their service department is incompetent and dishonest. Their prices are 50% higher than any other European repair shop in Roswell. United BMW is a total rip off. Stay away! read more

We lost our key and bought the insurance and emailed that we were coming into GA and would like to get another key. **DO NOT GET SERVICE HERE!!** Recently moved to Atlanta area. Noticed oil on my concrete and took the car in for an oil leak found on the upper and lower oil pan. I have meticulously cared for my dream car the 6 years I've had it! Anyway I get my car back with a huge gouge in the fender nicks all over the front bumper and to top it off I had a complete power loss the very next night on 75 with my kids in the car. Think 80mph paper weight with 18 wheelers all around me. Call them to come pick it up- after 3 days of telling me nothing was wrong suddenly they start calling me to trade it. I'm like why are you wanting me to trade it?? I don't even know what's wrong with it. They claim I need a new motor- this power loss and bucking was from the motor. After going back and forth about it United offers to pay for half of the new motor. So we reluctantly tell them to pull the trigger on a new motor even though the problem was likely related to their service! Well we picked up my car yesterday and wouldn't you know....the problem still exists!!!! Had the codes checked and they are saying an O2 sensor is likely the problem. So let's recap United has almost 12,000 of my money and my car still won't drive me to work!!! Shame on you BMW!!! Shot gunning parts because your people don't know how to plug in a diagnostic machine! Oh AND you still didn't fix my exterior issues your service depot did and let's add in you ruined the leather in my drivers seat! It's covered in oil and is now missing leather color! Highly highly recommended ask for Nick King !!! (Service advisor , he's is the best!!) Just wanted to share the most amazing experience my fiancé and I had with United BMW. My fiancé Corey Has a 750i M series and we have been having trouble with bring in the car so often for maintenance it's been a bit much for our budget so once again when we brought it in Nick confirmed that a module (chassis) was not reading and needed to be changed . We thought it was a bit expensive since the warranty would not cover and it was coming out of pocket and decided to take it to a Solomotosports (**do not go here **) and the said it would be a quick fix of a couple hours and we decided to leave it there but turns out it was not a couple house it turn to days ... big mistake we should of known something was up . So we got the call and after 3 days of trying to fix the problem , turn out they did not mess up the problem but created more due to them not knowing what they were doing and messed it up more . STILL on top of that charged my fiancé $1400 for supposed labor which they did not fix at all! So here we are back to square one , lost money , time and patient ., at this point we should of trusted a bmw provider , so we decided to contact Nick again and he decided to help out . We knew at this point that we should just stick with the people who know what there doing and pay for professionalism!! Got the call from Nick saying Solomotosports messed up the computer while trying to code it and it needed to be reset . United BMW contacted BMW from New Jersey and was programmed remotely . They changed "again " the faulty module and once that was done another error popped up with the cars compressor , once again Nick called to inform us the due to the bad coding . Once the module was fix from the chassis and compressor changed sponge with the module . It was time to pick it up , since one part was under warranty , Nick was able to save us money and only payed labor on compressor cutting our cost in half and making it possible for us to have our car back . I called ahead of time to make an appointment to have my car serviced and some needed repairs. When I told the man on the phone that one of the issues was an oil leak he said bring it in right away no appointment needed and we can give you a loaner. So I drive an hour and a half there and a very rude agent told me just the opposite. Appointment was needed and loners were two weeks out. I understand the first mistake of the man on phone being misninformed but the rudeness and brash way that the bald headed man spoke to me was unacceptable. This bmw location is terrible!! I came in for a regular service maintenance yesterday and a day later my car is being towed away by bmw roadside for the engine coolant levels being too low. This is ridiculous, I literally just bought this car a month ago and have experienced numerous issues with the car and service wise. I saw the "refill coolant" light come on earlier today and was confused so I called to talk to a service rep to make an appointment and they never called me back!! Ever since I bought this car there have been issues....the air goes out frequently, the tints on the windows are peeling and now the engine is running poorly??? THIS IS FAR FROM A LUXURY EXPERIENCE. I want to return the car at this point but that will more than likely be a nightmare as well considering their finance department is trash as well. It took them 5 months to send in my paperwork for my tags. I'd rather catch the bus before I deal with these people again. read more

Be warned, read all of the 1 star reviews before using this dealership. My wife recently brought our BMW in for service and I was dumbfounded. I'm not sure if it was ineptness or ethics. Our car actually left the dealership (after routine servicing) with new issues. They made the HVAC system inoperable and left the key fob with a dead battery so that I was stranded the next day. They later explained that they did not intend to break the HVAC system but it happened because they installed the cabin filter "incorrectly". Not sure what the truth of that is, but it's interesting that they explained away their mistake because they made another mistake. I have great reservations if they actually performed any of the services claimed for a service visit that was over $1k. At least it only cost us another day of our lives for them to repair their mistakes. Obviously I repaired the key fob issue myself. read more

My brother was looking for a bmw 430i convertible, we met a salesman name Che Hall. He was great from start to finish. Even when my brother came in the 3rd day to switch the car to a different color he was still very patient and went the extra mile to make sure my brother was taken care of. I know it a challenge for Che and his finance manager due to a language barrier my brother but his team was patient and explain little detail involved. Beware ! Unethical and sketch . My car is under BMW bumper to bumper warranty still. However every time a sensor issue or something comes up, the dealership will claim some great reason to charge you none the less. Anastasia Johnston is definitely a sales woman to avoid at this dealership! I asked her to get me numbers on a car on Saturday which she said she would get to me shortly and failed to give me anything that day. I then inquired again on Monday and it took until Tuesday to get something from her which was filled with errors, the biggest one being the price of the vehicle which was quoted well over the price listed online. I contacted her yet again to get the proper numbers and received nothing on Tuesday. After, still not receiving information on Wednesday I reached out once again only to have her leave a voice mail saying that they sold the car. I also opted into Texting for a faster response and the majority of my questions were ignored with no response. read more
