Respectable United Clubs at COIA, but not anywhere near the quality of Delta... We try to avoid flying through Chicago when at all possible, but when flying United sometimes it's inevitable. When connecting and if time allows, we usually stop into one of the United Clubs. Overall, decent clubs at COIA... Alright food (but not great) with decent selection, a generally friendly staff, and usually a quiet place to get away from the terminal chaos. Prob the biggest drawback though is the United Clubs tend to get absurdly busy. Nonetheless, not bad clubs, just not on the same level as Delta. read more

This United Club is located in concourse C. As I had a morning flight, the lounge was stocked with breakfast items. They have a coke freestyle machine and a coffee machine that let's you make choices as well. Staff are friendly. There were some guests that are loud and some that thought it was appropriate to lay over multiple seats. Staff did address these issues. I had a good visit and appreciate being away from the hustle and bustle of the travelers trying to get to their gates. read more

Chicagos United Club can be hit or miss depending on the concourse you are traveling out of, however the one located on C was pretty good at 5:30 am...if you don't mind all the families...I like it quiet, sue me. The service is friendly and gracious. Always a nice job. read more

We've come here twice this year during very long layovers. Spending time here rather than sitting elsewhere in the airport makes long layovers a breeze! We love the all you can eat buffet where there is something fresh and tasty for everyone. They also have a nice bar area with snacks. The staff is pleasant and they offer a variety of seating areas - from couches to regular tables/chairs (easiest to eat at these) to quiet, comfy chairs with low tables. They also have plenty of charging outlets and the bathrooms are clean. But this place is popular so it is sometimes difficult to find empty places to sit. read more

This is a very busy United club and seating with sometimes hard to come by. That would be the only complaint I would have. Also, some of the outlets didn't work. Other than that, I had an amazing time the food and all the service was amazing. They had adequate staff to take care of all the guests that were staying there, but there was a bit of overcrowding at one point. You can tell when all the major flights were leaving because it cleared out so quickly. One of the frequents club members complained that there wasn't enough food rotation, but I was very happy with the food that was given and the quality of drinks that they prepared. is it my favorite United club no, but it definitely comes in handy and I appreciate the amenities and the hard work of all the staff. read more

On my latest trip to Chicago, my flight was delayed a bit flying out so I popped into the United Club to kill some time. I swear to you, going to the lounges and not being with the masses is a nice feeling for anxiety stricken individuals. It gives a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the airport. That being said, this isn't the greatest of airport lounges. The food and drink selection is minimal and the bathrooms aren't all that fancy. However, it looks small walking in but if you keep exploring, you'll find a bunch of hidden crevices you can sit in and bigger seating areas. I didn't partake much in the food, but there was hot and cold food (this must have changed since prior reviews) and everyone was grabbing full breakfasts. They had various juices and coffees, I wish there were some grab and go options but alas, only fountain style drinks. I ended up grabbing a cute little brownie to hold me over that was tasty and the coffee got the job done. I found a seat with outlets (not many had them) and chilled out & relaxed for an hour getting Yelp work done! Though not as fancy as other lounges, it has everything you could need. Generally I really enjoy the United Club. We stopped in the C Gate Club before our flight. It's been remodeled, there is lots of seating (and tons of guests). I thought, oh you fancy United, when I saw spinach soufflés on the buffet in the morning. I turned it over and it was...gray. Not sure why, but it was off putting. My fave UCs so far are in Chicago -- they are clean, though crowded; yet staff keep it orderly and organized. They have many bussers constantly cleaning tables-- makes sense, it's the corporate office. Lol. I also enjoyed all the breakfast items, I had: oats, fruit, frittata, bread and ate 2 bowls of food not just chips coffee and wine (my usual at a UC). The Lavazza coffee maker is a much appreciated perk. Too bad the toaster was broken. Robots are in. R1D1's were on duty shuttling trays of used dishware and trash to the kitchen for sorting or refuse. Impressed. Hope all other UC's follow suit. I was at the LAX UC the night prior and the staff there are exhausted, not able to keep up, the food options stale. Maybe they need more R1D1's LOL. Generally UC's are better after the remodel. I upgraded to business class and got to hang out here before my trip. It was a decent business class lounge with the typical amenities. The bar opened at 7am so I opted for a screwdriver because I was on vacation. Service was good and the place was clean with ample seating. They had a huge buffet of breakfast so big points for the food. There was tons of places to sit down and work if needed. It's hard to beat some of the business class lounges in places like Istanbul, etc but for a US lounge it was good. read more

Hot food selection that day was meat balls, penne pasta mashed potato, soups etc. I enjoyed it. I had about 1.5 hours until my next flight and this was conveniently located right next to my gate. The only complaint is people having zoom meetings in the otherwise quiet lounge. I get that some people have to get meetings down, but people sitting in my area on zoom were talking very loud and it was very unpleasant. Private areas to work on your business, and a lot of places in between. I stopped in between legs from LAX. I was expecting OHare dump, but was presently surprised. There is a check in Kiosk at this location. Food was very good during dinner rush. There is a large selection of items at the bar. Always an assortment of snacks as well. Bathroom was clean. There is a ton of space to sit and relax, charge devices, enjoy a drink, etc. The food is good. This last time they had a Thanksgiving style turkey sandwich with cranberries and it was so good! This was our first time at this new C10 United Club. C10 is located in concourse C. The C10 location is not shown on Yelp's airport map. The former C16 club is still shown on Yelp's airport map. C10 Yelp reviews are posted to the former C16 Club location. Therefore, I also posted my review to the C16 club location. The new C10 club has automatic entrance/exit gates with scanners to scan your boarding pass QR code. There are also attendants with manual mobile scanners. I checked in with one of the attendants, because I had a guest. My check in went smoothly with my guest. The club was packed with customers. All of the comfortable seating was already occupied. We sat at the large table adjacent to the food area, since we were hungry. I stopped at the bar for my usual complimentary Prossecco. I enjoyed the chicken soup, slices of cheese, pasta in red sauce, ham sandwich and cookies. After eating our lunch I found a more comfortable table located in the center room, which was more like a living room. I sat on the bench seat to enjoy my second Prosecco. Overall I was pleased with this new C10 club although it was too crowded when we first arrived. Now it was time to make our way to our gate. My United UA616 flight to DCA was located at Gate C11, which was a short walk across the walkway from the Gate C10 United club. As a United lifetime premier platinum member I always board in Group 1. Located in concourse C next to gate C16. This is a new updated United club and one of the best and nicest I've been to that is not a Polaris lounge. It is huge inside with tons of seating and wide open amazing views, so be aware there will be lots of people. I came on the morning with plenty of folks but was still east to find seating but I imagine this place will get packed as it is the only United club lounge on the C concourse. The food selection was definitely larger and plentiful. They also had more staff so items were being restocked quickly. The breakfast menu when I was there was solid, hot and cold options and with actual eggs, meats, fruits. Way better then some of the smaller lounges. The bar here is big and next to a great view of the airport. It's definitely a spot once to find a seat you'd be happy to hang out for a bit and also be able to do work. What a relief to enter the new lounge which had opened around the first of the year. For starters you scan your barcode to enter, and the ladies are at the desk if you have questions. The lounge is big with lots of sitting rooms, and tables and private stalls. The breakfast foods looks really good with a nice variety. I had a delay for my connecting flight and went to this United club which was close to my gate. It is a large venue and they had a lot of seating options among with food, snacks and a small bar. It has large glass windows around the perimeter with views of the planes. It was clean and I enjoyed my quick visit. read more

Overall this lounge is a good option if you have a long layover or time before your flight. I wouldn't go out of the way to pay a visit though. This lounge is larger than the United lounge located by the B gates in terminal 1. I went for breakfast and there was mixed fruit, scrambled eggs, a turkey and egg sandwich, sausage, and a yogurt station. This United Club is locates in Concourse C - near gate 16. It's a decent club the only issue is it tends to be busy and not a large as the upstairs terminal 1 location above the Premier Security check point. Other than being busy it's pretty clean and efficient. I'm not sure if folks just aren't ready for the busy factor but it's really not that bad in my opinion. It's not bad when you want to chill for a bit, grab a quick bite to eat or maybe a cocktail. I do like that if your flight is departing from. Concourse C that you can walk our and jump on your flight. The have two Illy espresso automated machines and a basic selection of fresh fruit, pastries, cereal. Yogurts. and some decent options, Phone conversation can be held in the common corridor to be a good neighbor to others in the sitting area but don't have private quiet areas. If you've ever experienced Terminal 1 Concourse C at O'Hara you know finding any kind of refuse from the crowds that block the corridor while waiting to board their flights a bathroom stall could look inviting - so if pay your annual fee that allows you inside this lounge you're probably still going to be disappointed although being disappointed in a luxurious setting is better than being disappointed in any other area on this concourse. I don't like this club but since I purchased the perk and I have been doing so for a few decades I try and use the benefit when I can - the description of a "perk" is not to misconstrue by any mean perk doesn't always mean it's a pleasantry regardless of Webster's definition even in the plural form- "a privilege, gain, or profit incidental to regular salary or wages; especially : one expected or promised". Don't believe it, this club seems to exist only because it's expected by those of us with status, most of us with status also share the premise that there should be no day passes accepted or sold, this place can't support those loyal to United Airlines as it is. I agree this is a poor effort on United's part and although I will continue to complaint about the crowds that are packed in here like sardines I will also continue to come here when I'm flying through this airport, the alternative to this club is crowded hallways, poor seating options, speakers blasting in your ear and expensive mediocre food options - I do like the free coffee and bananas here... read more

Amid all the negative reviews, I have to assume that most come from the time where this Club was in a temporary location while the permanent one was being built. The lounge I am at now seems perfectly fine - a range of complimentary drinks, sweet and savory bar snacks, soup/sandwiches/salad bar/hot food, fruit, coffee, and a range of seating types (cubicles for work, dining areas, couches, etc). Fewer food selections than say AmEx Centurion but still a good variety. Fancy infused water with fruit or cucumber, plenty of charging areas. It seems well trafficked but less crowded then outside the lounge. For a two hour layover, this felt worth the $59 for a drop in pass. O'Hare is chaotic compared to my home airport (SFO) but this United Club lounge made the experience more pleasant. read more
