This is my first experience with an airport lounge, and frankly, I could get used to this! That said, while markedly nicer than waiting by the gate, the experience wasn't perfect. There is free food, coffee, and Coke products available. The food involved a hot entree, a couple sandwiches, soups, salads, snacks, nibbles, and desserts. There is also coffee, espresso beverages, and a Coke machine. The quality of the items was adequate. Since airports aren't usually gourmet destinations, I happily devoured everything on my plate. Happy that one is not relegated to McDonald's and can opt for something healthier.a Speaking of which, while you are free to go up as many times as you wish, the plates and cups are very small, needing several visits for those like myself, who have a black hole within their stomachs. Perhaps this is to encourage people to keep their goodies in the lounge, rather than take 16oz coffee cups onto planes. It would still be nice to have larger plates, so I save my steps for the terminals rather than making repeated trips to the buffet... especially since I don't want to leave my property unattended. In terms of the lounge itself, everything was very clean. There is ample seating, and there should be a spot available, but expect to share the lounge with many others. While both the armchairs and [high] chairs are firmer than I'd like, they do beat out terminal seating overall. Also, while not needed by me, I respect that they have "phone rooms" for those who may need to take a private phone call or attend a work meeting. A private room is more for you, though, as the lounge is more chill, without the hustle and bustle of the terminal. Finally, there are plenty of outlets throughout, and the WiFi is faster by miles. All the staffers in the lounge, from those who check you in, to the bartender, to those keeping everything bussed and clean were fantastic! I was about to dust my hands off and leave four stars... that was until I realized that they have an open bar! There's nothing like starting a trip with a drink to get in the mood. Sure, it isn't really free being included with the ticket price, but if I'm already paying for airfare, not having to pay $20 for a small and weak drink is a phenomenal bonus. Last but certainly not least are the restrooms: These were much cleaner and nicer than the rest of the airport. Think of a nicer mall as opposed to "airport." Final verdict: I can now see why lounge access is such a wonderful perk of either non-economy seats or certain credit cards. I love airports because of my love for travel and airplanes, not so much everything else. The United Club is great for making that which stands between TSA and being in the air more pleasant.

When I entered I was quickly greeted and the United chicken staff were most gracious. However once I entered I realized that it was quite full and the food items were not being restocked. In fact it was almost empty. I was also kind of disappointed that the bathrooms weren't kept up as much as I would have expected for a club lounge. Overall I would reconsider going to this Lounge again.

This review isn't based on how great United's is compared to other airlines or this location compared to others. This is just me, being incredibly impressed that this is an option for travel. I was on a later flight and entered the lounge a few hours before closing. I don't feel like the buffet food selection was the best or the most fresh, but that may be because they were so close to closing for the night. I was impressed mostly by the drink options. In addition to the full bar, there was a coffee machine that could make anything you desire, several water stations, and a coca cola freestyle machine for fountain drinks. I really enjoyed the self serve snack station by the bar. The Gardettos style snack mix they serve on United flights are my favorite and I can never get enough. I was excited they have them in the lounge. This lounge was incredibly spacious with lots of seating options. It's a great way to pass the time before a flight, especially in an airport this busy.

The place is bright clean, and comfortable,, and has lots and lots of room, plenty of places to work and plenty of places to charge your gear. The Wi-Fi is fast, fast enough to stream video. It overviews the tarmac, with lots of great views for the "planespotters." their breakfast buffet was very good, with sausage, eggs, breakfast sandwiches, bagels with all the fixings fruit, juice, etc. They pour. Illy coffee, which is a very high-end brand and is delicious. There was also a very nice full bar. Some of the United clubs at O'Hare have showers, this one doesn't. Not a big deal. The seats are very comfortable and there are spectacular views of the planes and the runway. There are lots of chargers in and around the seating area. I also appreciated the ambient lighting. As for the lunch spread, there were two soups to choose from, salad fixings, chicken marsala, penne pasta, mini deli sandwiches, charcuterie board of cheeses and meats, and desserts (cookies, brownies, mousse cups). Drinks included a soda machine, lots of different hot tea to choose from, iced tea pitcher, coffee machine and a full serve bar. You can get complimentary drinks at the bar, but we skipped this. Also, the hot dog cart was out, so if you're in the mood for a Chicago hot dog, this is your spot. The bathrooms were very clean, stocked with fancy soap (Grown Alchemist) and tissue boxes. My husband even opted to sign up on the app to take a shower. He said he felt completely relaxed and ready for the trip home after that. If you've got access to this lounge, I highly recommend it. You know the kind you find at rest stops? Yeah, you got the picture. There are groupings of chairs which are surprisingly comfy. However, there is not a lot of room in each pod. If you have a guy next to you with his feet resting on top of his suitcase, you aren't getting through. (What is it about airports that bring out the all of the AH's??) Anna welcomed us into the club and made the arrangements for me to be picked up for the next flight out to Seattle. This club was very large with multiple places to relax and dine. We arrived early in the morning to find a nice selection of breakfast foods. They had everything you could possibly want from hot to cold items. I decided to have a yogurt with fresh fruit. My husband spotted a lady making bagels to order. He chose a toasted bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. It was delicious! They had a large machine that would make you any kind of coffee you would like - we both had cappuccinos. It was a wonderful start for the day.
