I've been to this post office location plenty of times since I was young. They're pretty dependable, lines can get long during peak hours, but generally has everything and anything any other USPS office would have. In terms of service, sadly, your experience will greatly depend on who helps you. I've had amazing, super kind employees, but there are also the ones who don't greet you, hate you for no reason, and talk to all the other employees while fetching your items and taking foreverrrr.

You can drop off small packages even if PO is closed

Service here seems to have improved! You can drop off prepaid packages inside during business hours without standing in line. When you walk in, the drop off cart is right behind the 2 self service kiosks!!! They have 3 self service kiosks total. There are 2 inside the PO which you can use to buy postage stamps or labels, buy tracking, weigh your package, scan your prepaid packages to get a receipt, etc. and generally there is someone available who can quickly answer a question. This location is great because you can do a lot of things after business hours! For people who work during the day, getting to the post office before it closes can be difficult!! - 1 self service kiosk which is located outside and accessible after hours - the weighing station is super helpful because sometimes I'm not sure how much my package weighs so I can't buy the postage online in advance! This station weighs and prints for you. - large drop off station to mail boxes or large packages - this is so handy if your package does not fit into a blue bin collection box!!!

Slow, excruciatingly slow. Rude too. The workers at the counters deserve a 0/5. The workers delivering the mail get a 5/5.

They have the self service center unlike the other Arcadia usps. Makes everything so easy when you have the prepaid labeled packages.

As I was driving to my next destination, I thought that I should have purchased more stamps. Just then, I saw this post office in Arcadia and made a quick left into the driveway - after the post office - because there was a van coming out of the driveway closest to the post office. Turns out that what I did was correct. The driveway closest to the post office is one-way out only. I read the reviews about the older Asian female worker. She was scolding the customer in front of me. Oh wow. When it was my turn, I wondered if she was going to yell at me for paying in coins. Haha! I took a chance and unloaded what felt like five pounds worth of nickels, dimes, and quarters! It's good to put them back into circulation, right? ... because two international stamps are only $2.90 right now. It's a great time to use coins as payment for this small amount of currency! I thought I counted correctly, but all she said was, "You need ten more cents." That was my cue to give her ten pennies... LOL! Anyway, that's my way of risk-taking. I'll play it safe the rest of the day... Hopefully...

I came in fully prepared with my 16-year-old daughter to submit her new U.S. passport application…read more(despite being born overseas, she has been issued multiple US passports since she was a baby), and we brought every required document and then some. We had her current, valid U.S. passport with us, which as clearly outlined on the U.S. passport service website (travel.state.gov), meets the requirement for "primary proof of citizenship." Despite this, the clerk refused to accept our application and incorrectly insisted that we needed re-prove my daughter's citizenship through her U.S.-citizen father--including providing HIS documents and ID, and other completely irrelevant items such as our marriage certificate to "prove we're her parents" (despite having her birth certificate with us and the fact we were not even married when our daughter was born 16 years ago, and we divorced 10 years ago) along with other unnecessary documents - such as my daughter's high school student ID?!, which doesn't have anything but her name on it and isn't an accepted as a form of ID by ANY U.S. government agency! Because of this: - My daughter missed two days of school - We had to make another appointment - We scrambled to gather documents that were never even required - I had to contact my ex-husband, who lives in another city, for paperwork and personal documents that were not needed All of this could have been avoided if the clerk knew how to do their job, or if she or her manager (who also had no idea what to do) had simply looked up the government requirements. For clarity and to reiterate: According to U.S. Department of State, a currently valid U.S. passport is considered PRIMARY evidence of citizenship. My daughter's citizenship was already established when she was issued her very first US passport as a baby. Her turning 16 and applying for an "adult" passport now does NOT mean we have to re-prove her citizenship from scratch with all her U.S.-born father's documents and information again. HER OWN ID- a current, valid U.S. child passport- is enough, and it clearly states this on the US government's passport website. Instead of focusing on the actual requirements for a 16-17 yr old applicant (ID, form + my signature of acknowledgement), the clerk fixated on completely irrelevant and incorrect criteria meant for first-time citizenship claims only. There was a clear bias toward me, the accompanying parent, for not being born in the U.S. myself (despite being a US permanent resident/greencard holder) and the fact that I was trying to obtain my child a U.S. passport. I was repeatedly told my presence and documentation were insufficient (untrue) due to that fact--even though, according to government guidelines, the accompanying parent does NOT need to be a U.S. citizen. Because to point out again, MY DAUGHTER IS A US CITIZEN AND HER CURRENT EXISTING AND MULTIPLE PAST/EXPIRED PASSPORTS PROVE THIS. If you're going to be a stickler about enforcing rules, at least know what they are. Weird to accept passport applications for a living and not know what the requirements for passport applications are. This was a frustrating, time-wasting, and discriminatory experience. I would strongly recommend going to a different facility where staff are properly trained and actually know how to do their job. I made an appointment at a different USPS location for the next day, where the staff actually know what they are doing. They asked for my daughter's ID (her current passport), the application form, I showed the clerk my ID to prove I was a parent, my daughter and I both signed the form, AND IT WAS DONE in under 5 minutes. As it should've been at Duarte, without all the above nonsense and ineptitude!

The woman staff told me that mails to my residence have been stopped, and forwarded where else because a family member had submitted an address change form without "clicking" on "Individual" or "Family", so USPS assumed "Family". Obviously USPS do not consider delivery of mails to correct address is a serious duty. The family member insisted that she did select the Individual option. So I requested to see a copy or image of that form, the woman said she doesn't have it if it was done online. Usually there would be the form either online or paper, and filing it would not be complete or go through if the important information is missing. USPS should not just make their assumption and cause headaches and financial damage for customers. And the problem will continue for the next few days. She also stubbornly told me that USPS operates without a financial support from government and the mail address change is a free service, so USPS is not required to do a good job. She probably lied just to defeat an elder minority person.

His attitude was "that's your problem not mine". The next time I again sent another file to print as I wanted a good quality print. Again I got the same employee. I asked him if the file looked okay before printing and he said it looked fine. Once the copies were made he charged me and then handed me the copies. The colors were all messed up and the copies are totally unusable. I told him that and asked if his printer needs ink. He just shrugged and said it's new ink and then turned away!
