I ended up grabbing an emergency appointment with Dr. Kristina Pham, even though they don't accept my insurance. This freshly chipped tooth clearly needed a crown but Dr Pham hooked me up with a temporary filing that she molded into a new tooth. Very much appreciated her solving this missing tooth issue so I could resume eating M&Ms and having fun with friends for the week until I returned home. Also, she charged a very reasonable amount for this quick fix when I was expecting the worst.

This included a surgical wisdom tooth extraction and oral surgery consultation rather than the simple extraction I had previously been advised I needed, as well as over $300 out of pocket for ridge preservation, even though I specifically explained that I was not planning to have an implant or bone graft. I also was especially concerned that a broken tooth my previous dentist believed could potentially be restored with a post and crown was instead recommended for extraction and replacement with a denture. When I questioned the treatment plan and costs, the front desk employee was rude and ultimately told me I would be better off going to another office. I agree. I will be getting another opinion and taking my dental care elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office, and I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to an extensive treatment plan here.

I had a problem and instead of letting me know what was happening she just went for it. It hurt I asked for numbing. I saw the needle but never felt numb. I was in pain and then I was done.
