Stay away from this office. They try to up-sell you services you don't need. I have been going there for five years and there is a new hygienist which just replaced my old one. My old hygienist who no longer works there complemented me how well I take care of my teeth every 6 months during my cleaning. Now, all of a sudden (6 months later), with this new hygienist, I will need a cleaning now 3 to 4 times a year and a special cleaning that day which I had to pay out of pocket for. Unbelievable, I begged them to just do the regular cleaning and not make me find another dentist but they wouldn't listen and I walked out of the office without getting any cleaning at all. So I went in to have my wisdom teeth extracted. They filled me with radiation twice to get my X-rays and all that and get my insurance which covers wisdom tooth extractions. About half an hour after I left they call to tell me the oral surgeon REFUSES to perform my extractions without a bone graft at $500 a tooth which my insurance does not cover. For WISDOM teeth. DO NOT GO HERE, don't give them money they only want to suck you DRY! I need these teeth extracted and they want my cash instead of just taking my insurance and providing me care. NO CARE HERE. Please ask for a care plan and prior authorization before doing Any work- if insurance doesn't approve it you are stuck with the bill. They are pushy to get the work done but yet won't provide a bill until they fail to get a prior authorization and then you are stuck with the bill. They are GIANT Corporation looking to suck you dry. Dr Vasquez (who shouldn't have a license) comes in and the first words out of his mouth is "what is the garbage on her arm" then proceeds to ask if she's on dialysis and if she's dying.... UM WTF EXCUSE ME?!?! They don't give her glasses and her eyes were watering from the light and he then proceeds to say that's a sign of kidney failure.... Um are you a dentist or an endocrinologist? Checks her tooth flings the build up on the wall, then says I can't see her and walks away. DR VASQUEZ IS HORRIBLE AND SHOULDN'T BE IN PRACTICE! This guy is a joke. He will be reported to the board. Total mess. I had an appointment for 8am - apparently along with two other patients. Not sure how that works. I'm new to the area so I was pretty anxious about the entire experience. So when I walked in I was not greeted, instead was told "Can you take a seat please?" with a sharp agitated tone. I was shocked as it was my first time here, no "Welcome, we'll be right with you" so I responded with "Well good morning to you too". The receptionist looked a little embarrassed as the other two patients also responded with a friendly good morning. I made this appointment for a cleaning. I was sent to the xray room where the technician did not give me her name, very cold and not personable but not mean either. After that I was sent to the dr's room where he looked at my xrays and was also NOT warm or personable, just sounded very tired and annoyed. He poked around my teeth aggressively as well - soomething I have never had before and in response to my "YOUCH" pain, he said oops, my hand slipped sorry. What the heck. After that, one of the nurses checked in with me and was very kind explaining the billing etc. Then next, was the hygenist - by far, the most kind person there, he explained everything thouroughly, very kind. I would have come back just for him but when I was told I was ready for the cleaning, an hour had already went by between the waiting and the moving around of rooms. I was not going to wait another 30 minutes for an additional 45 min cleaning. That's almost 3 hours at the dentist! Totally insane. The closest appointment they had was for Next month and that's just for the cleaning, mind you, I have a broken filling and they insisted that I get a cleaning before fixing the filling - so leaving my tooth bare for an additional 2 months? All they care about is $$$ - not their patients. Please save your time and $, this is not a good dental office in Indio. read more

He made me feel so horrible and after speaking to the manager Laurel Den Haan she made it even worse. And after I left about 30 minutes later, I received an email from the manager Laurel Den Haan stating that she thought it was a joke. Didn't apologize or return to complete job on my way out assistant recommended I speak with office manager and she made it worse by telling me the dentist had to move me around etc...i complaint about my tooth hurting as to my visit, so when he went to reach to pull on my teeth I pulled away, so he stormed off! I just wanted it pulled out, but they wanted to charge me three hundred to leave the bone graft, and they wouldn't do it because the dentist doesnt feel comfortable doing it (like if its his teeth). I'm still paying off my parents for helping me pay for another tooth. Bright Now Dental honestly think people have the money to just throw around during a pandemic (especially during the holiday season). I'm barely making it by at the moment. I call for a dental cleaning appt. When I got there the hygienist told me I was having a deep root cleaning. I told him that was not what I called for and I was NOT having a deep root cleaning long story short no deep root clean NO dental cleaning At All. It's what they want or nothing so I left. If I could give a minus number I would. I was scheduled for a potential tooth extraction. Paper work must be read carefully before you sign it. Some very, very broad permission given as it reads. Be careful! X-ray person fine. Chair assistant and DDS were abrupt and inaccurate in their assumptions. DDS never showed his face, just stood behind me and the assistant 'introduced' him. Dr. Vasquez was his name. He then 'examined' the wrong tooth! I had spent an hour the day before going over my medical history and limitations and what anesthetic could be used (I am allergic to lidocaine) All for naught. Dr Vasquez said he'd be right back. I switched dentists due to a recent move. The Dentist and staff are friendly and professional. I recommend them as I recently had a great experience. I had some functional cosmetic work done on my front tooth. I did not know what to expect and at first I was disappointed that when they were done putting the temporary in place that my smile looked the same as I did before the procedure when it was supposed to fill a gap I'd had. I came back in the next day to ensure that the permanent tooth would in fact fill this gap as promised and they assured me it would. I came in two weeks later and they fitted me with the permanent tooth and it did in fact fill the gap. I think if anything could be improved is to explain the process so patients aren't left wondering. read more

I will never return to this office and have since reported my experience to HR corporate. Front desk isn't friendly or welcoming at all... P.s.- This "Charlotte" may just be doing Yelp damage control because I emailed FOUR months ago...and still no response from her or anyone in HR. Also, my husband unknowingly went to the La Quinta location and the SAME thing happened to him. They purposely pierced his gums and made them bleed, while he was on blood thinner medication!! Bright now dental in Indio is great! I have had such bad experiences in the past with going to the dentist but Dr. Abe really worked wonders. He listened to my concerns and worries regarding getting my teeth cleaned and cavities filled. He walked me through each step of the procedures and was gentle. I have to admit, I was terrified at first but looked into Dr. Abe and this office, I 100% recommend it. Management was amazing!!! I was able to get an appointment right away and was greeted with smiles when I walked in. Staff was all friendly and the atmosphere at this office was so comforting. Margie Martinez (the manager) was the first to greet me and walked me through the process of filling out paperwork and closing me out. I was able to ask her any question and she provided me with great answers. The accepted my insurance and accommodated me well. My overall experience at this dentist was amazing! I will definitely be coming back for my teeth cleaning in a couple months and for my routine check ups. Dr. Abe is the best dentist I have had in 25 years (no lie or exaggeration)! WARNING: Do NOT get any sort of dental work done here beyond a cleaning. I went to Bright Now to get several fillings done, and so much bonding was put on my teeth, I couldn't even FLOSS some of my teeth afterwards. After the procedure, the dentist didn't even bother checking to see if he could fit a piece of floss between the fillings, so it wasn't until I got home that I realized this was an issue. I couldn't even fit floss between one of my molars, and the excess bonding on another filling RIPPED the floss every time I stuck it in between my teeth. After this kind of a botched job (and let's face it -- if you can't floss your teeth, something isn't right), I was scared to go back to Bright Now, so I went to another dentist. They confirmed that I needed a filling adjustment on two of my teeth, which ended up costing me an additional $150. Bright Now said they would be more than happy to fix this for free, but given that the procedure was not done properly in the first place, I believe I had every right to not want to come back to them for additional work. The receptionist explained that the procedure was "not done incorrectly" and that this "happens all the time," but I can't say I've ever heard of anyone else having this issue. The dentist should have checked the space between my teeth after the fillings, and perhaps had he not been chatting with his assistant the whole time (I specifically remember them discussing whose death they were more upset about, Michael Jackson or Prince), he would have paid closer attention to the work he was doing. Upon inspecting my recent fillings from Bright Now, my new dentist shook his head and said, "I don't often ask people this, but where did you get this done?" I am furious with myself for settling for the cheap, convenient care at Bright Now when I should have done my homework and gone to a private dentist elsewhere in the Coachella valley. Please learn from my mistake and DO NOT GO HERE! Perhaps if Bright Now had refunded me for their shoddy dentistry or offered to pay the cost of fixing it at a more reputable establishment, I wouldn't be writing this review, but they maintain that they didn't do anything wrong.
