The last time I visited Universal Studios Hollywood was when Harry Potter was the main attraction. That was about 6-7 years ago. When my company was hosting a summer event here, I was really looking forward to spending the day at one of my favorite theme parks. I even downloaded the app and planned my route to make sure we hit all the rides. This is important if you want to maximize your time with less waiting time. I suggest getting here 30-60 minutes before the theme park is opened and get a good parking spot, unless you want to pay extra for a closer spot. It's about a 15-minute walk from the parking lot, through City Walk to get to the entrance. Take some pictures along the way and go through security/metal detectors. Boom - it's open time! It's great that they allow backpacks (check for the size allowance on their website), water bottles, and light snacks. Needless to say, food/drinks are expensive at any theme park. Bringing water and some snacks will help with spending less money. read more

Iconic. Wonderful. Universal. Universal Studios Hollywood is such a staple not only in Los Angeles but but the world. Located on the outskirts of the San Fernando Valley or just The Valley to most in the city of Universal City (yes, this landmark meets studios meets amusement park meets mall meets destination location) has its own city! Currently offering a Buy a Day, Get Two Days free deal (see the website).... With deals throughout the summer and each year. USH has some solid deals for day as well as annual passes - just read the fine print so you're not surprised by anything. Gold is probably the best deal overall, but if you're not a huge park goer or visiting from out of state or the greater SoCal area Silver is your friend. Be prepared for lots of inclines, hills, escalators and pathways, but also for so much fun via Super Nintendo World aka Mario World, Springfield (via the Simpsons), Water World, Harry Potter, Despicable Me, and so much more! While Universal is more about the experiences of mini version of famous worlds imagine in 2D there are quite a bit of rides as well the iconic Tram Tour was one of my first back in the 90s and certainly not my last in the present. Halloween Horror Nights is a fun fav for those who relish in horror and/or suspense in the fall. I recommend doing the long line wait haunted houses first and then others if you can. It can be a lot walking around this behemoth of an attraction park, but definitely so much fun. Aside for the creme of Universal you also have Universal CityWalk with additional restaurants, shops, treats and entertainment, including the AMC 19. If you'd like to see a taping of one of NBC Universal's must like The Voice, I've been a handful of times. So thankful to live close to a good theme park. It would be nice to live near Disneyland but honestly that would be really expensive lol! We are annual pass members and it's definitely worth your money especially with parking being super expensive and needed even just to get into CityWalk. Lots of things have changed but a lot of it changed for the better. I definitely miss the ET ride but the Mummy Ride is a big hitter for sure. Lots of neat promos for pass members so if you live nearby, it's worth getting. The studio tour "tram ride" will always be my favorite. They now had the Super Mario World which is neat but wish it was bigger. I really hope they expand in the future! Great place to hangout even if you don't do rides. Lots of shopping and sight seeing and the stairs are good exercise! My only complaint is that they don't have the best food compared to Disney and you can be waiting up to an hour for the simplest food that isn't even great or worth the time and money. I went to Universal Studios March 26, 2026 at 4:30. I went on the minion ride last time. I went to the minion ride it shut down. They gave us a code word to skip the line for our next visit because it was shut down for the full day. I told the person at the front these two girls the code word when I tell you, I've never met router people in my life they straight up told me no they said it changed every day and I said and I explained what happened last time and they said no nothing I can do for you and I went in the line after I went to go talk to the other staff member and then she was so bothered she and told us the code were changes every single day. Visited Universal Studios this past weekend. No doubt, the crowds were there but that's expected at any theme park on weekends these days. Decided to get a Gold Pass so that we could enjoy the park at our pace. Any attractions or shows we miss this time can be saved for another visit in the future. Our main goal was to ride Mario Kart and we did it. It was a fun, interactive game using the latest augmented reality hardware and software. Just be sure to pay attention in the tutorial room before you get your headset. It will help you understand the game. Another goal was to try the ButterBeer at Hogwarts and it does not disappoint. I opted for the frozen version. The butterscotch flavor was cool and refreshing. Perfect for a warm day. It was so good I bought a second cup. We rode Forbidden Journey. There was so much to see in the ride queue and the ride itself was quite an experience. It was definitely my favorite. Took the 60th Anniversary version of the tram tour and this version had some special surprises that were added along with original locations and experiences. Be sure to take it at least once before the anniversary version of the tour ends. All in all, we enjoyed our day and now that we're pass holders, we'll be coming back to enjoy more of the park in the future. read more

The park itself was nice. But the help if you have a disability is terrible! If you have a body disability, which requires walking and not sitting or standing for long periods, you most likely will be denied. The park would prefer you to fight to get out of a line and walk around and then fight your way back. BUT! If you have someone say that you have no concept of understanding having to wait in line you most likely will get a pass. They don't look or care about your disability paperwork (which was presented to them), in fact they just don't care about people with certain disabilities. read more

Universal Studios is one of my favorite places to go in Southern California! Been going for close to 30 years! Some rides have changed .. and so have my joints, back and knees! Man! But... popped a 800 ibuprofen and pushed thru haha. I bought yearly tickets again, so I plan on going often for the next year. As I stated the rides have changed throughout the years, they're still heavy on the simulator rides. A few shows have changed, and a few have been the same for 20+years. I Had a Butter Beer .. I really thought it was going to be real beer.. yeah, it's not. It tastes like cream soda with Carmel foam. Good too, just sweet. My all time favorite is Jurassic Park ride, and the Tram ride to relax. Note- they let you off the Tram now near Bates Motel to walk around and take a few pictures. I feel like the Tram ride is much shorter now with less things to see. Oh Universal, please update Jaws... he needs a touch up or something Overall I had a blast! No matter your fandom, Universal Studios likely has it! Harry Potter, Super Mario Bros, Jurassic Park/World, Beetlejuice, Kung Fu Panda, Minions, etc. Anyone who has read my reviews can tell you I'm a Disney Parks fanatic, but I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved this trip and park overall. It may have been because I was picked for Ollivanders and even sorted into Slytherin. The first day we splurged on the VIP Experience and the second park day we had the Express Pass. When the tour guide said in the beginning that VIP was the best way to go to see Universal Studios he was so right! Sam was our tour guide and Patrick was the tour guide of our buddy group as you share the Studio Tour trolly with them. This made for a more intimate tour and I loved that it had sections you deboard to explore! We visited The Good Place and even the prop warehouse (no pictures). What an amazing way to experience for the 60th Anniversary of the Studio Tour. Besides the amazing Studio Tour and unlimited Express Pass, the VIP Experience includes a buffet style lunch at Moulin Rouge that was ultimately our favorite meal the whole weekend between the park and Citywalk. Quite frankly, we likely would book for that being one of the main factors! Plus, they offered water bottles throughout the Studio Tour and at lunch. Great to keep us hydrated and ready to enjoy all that Universal Studios Hollywood has to offer. If you aren't opting into the VIP Experience, I would recommend the Express Pass as it truly helps avoid the wait time in the standby queue. It only works once per day for each attraction, but it's still worth it in my opinion as we saw some rides get up to a 2 hour wait time on a Saturday in May. Summer waits will only go up from here! This pass is by far much better than Disneyland as you simply scan, and do not require to book through the Universal app. In the future, I will always opt for the Express pass as it's worth the money. So far, you would think this was a 5-Star hands down but I was really disappointed in most of the food options thus landing on a 4-Star. Though perhaps being able to get into Toadstool Cafe would have helped as I hear they have great food. We were disappointed in Three Broomsticks, and not a huge fan of the options at carts that were Vegetarian. If you are going to dine anywhere, I recommend the French Street Bistro. Came to Universal Studios to celebrate my birthday! I wanted to go for the Mario Ride. Happy that I got the chance to go on the Mario ride. Unfortunately, I couldn't try the Mario Cafe. Theme Park is huge. I made sure to get a fast pass it is so worth it. If you want to get in different rides little to no wait times. We had an awesome time at HHN Hollywood! Got Preferred Parking (super close) and the Express Pass, which made the night smooth -- longest wait was maybe 30 min for Terrifier, everything else 5-10 tops. Start with the Terror Tram -- it closes early and saves a ton of walking. Mazes like Jason Universe, Terrifier, and Poltergeist were and the scares were nonstop. Only downside? The Chainsaw Show I expected Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibes... but it turned out to be an anime-style show in another language with subtitles. Not my thing, but I'm sure anime fans will love it. Overall: great night, amazing mazes, worth every penny for Express -- just skip the show at the end. read more

Came to Universal Studios yesterday to have a good time with family. The first ride we got on was Revenge of the Mummy ride, and my sister accidentally dropped her sun visor while waiting in line. She seen someone picked it up and left it on top of the gate entrance. So, I kindly asked if I can retrieve the sun visor. The employees made it way more difficult than it should. Especially this one lady with curly hair. She was very rude and unprofessional. The way she handled the situation was not necessary. If you hate your job that much go find elsewhere. Don't work at a place where people come to have a good time, and here you are spreading your negativity to other people. Do better! read more

Entry into the park is definitely a lot quicker than Disneyland. The last two times I was here the lines for the rides were quick. I grew up in Los Angeles area and have always loved the place. Last time I was there was over 10 years ago with my young son, best friend and her 2 young sons. Fast forward to visiting LA this summer and same group of people went- all our sons are now teenagers; we all had the best time! The studio tour was amazing! Adding additional sections to the tour was engagingly scary and oh so much fun! We got the fast pass for everyone - Expensive but worth it. I love Universal and typically have a pretty great time when I go to the park for the regular season or HHN, but my most recent HHN visit on Sunday was amazing! My friend, partner, and I dressed up as Ghostbusters for fun, and it prompted so many fun interactions with character actors and team members that felt really nice. We even got a free express pass onto The Mummy and Transformers (I'm so sorry I don't remember the team members names, as it all happened so fast. this was probably between 11pm-Midnight or so) It made for a really awesome visit even outside of the chaos of it being an extremely busy HHN season this year. Also shoutout and thank you to the other kind team member in the walkway between the Terrifier/Poltergeist mazes and the rest of the park closer to closing time that gave us cute little rubber ducky trinkets. Since Mario World opened, we wanted to visit Universal Hollywood...we finally made the trip in mid-April. We ended up visiting shortly after the Spring Break rush on a Tuesday, so the crowds were not bad. There are bunch of website that track crowds...so be sure to check before deciding when to visit. After searching the internet...we couldn't find many significant discounts. We ended up purchasing tickets in advance online from Undercover Tourist to save a few dollars and more importantly, save time at the entrance. Undercover Tourist saved us about $15 per ticket. About $120 each after taxes. We arrived to the parking garage at about 9:45ish, just before the park's offical 10am opening that day. We opted for the standard parking ($32) and was lucky to find a spot on the first (B1) level. We took the elevator ride up one floor which extis you onto Universal City Walk area. While there are lots of shops in this area, we decided to head directly to the park to take advantage of the minimal crowds during the earlier hours. The only stop we made in City Walk was to the Nintendo store there where we purchased a Nintendo World Band. (Saves time versus purchasing it in Nintendo World itself) We reached the gate around 10:15 and entry was very easy with our e-tickets on hand. Knowing Mario World is the busiest areas and as many reviewers had suggested, we hightailed it to the lower level, which consists of a little walk and then four descending escalators to get to. It took at least 15 minutes to get from the gate to Mario World...and we are fairly fast walkers. After snapping a few photos we quickly joined the line for the Bowser ride, which was already up to 30-minute wait. It was closer to about 20-25 minutes...but I like how there is lots to see along the wait line. They did an awesome job with the decor...lots of cool callbacks and references to the Mario universe. The ride was amazing...very interactive. When we exited the ride at about 11am....we saw that the Toadstool Cafe was already booked for the day. So those interested in visiting it should make that their first stop...I believe you can scan at the Cafe entrance and add your name to the waiting list and they give you a time to enter. We stayed in the Mario area and completed most of the Band activities. I highly recommend buying one as it will allow you to do and track your activities throughout the area. After leaving Mario we decided to finish out the rides in the lower level, including Transformers (25-minute wait) and Jurrasic World (5-minute wait). (You will get wet in Jurassic World, especially if you sit in the front of the back) We then took the four escalators back up to the top. We went to the Harry Potter World next...lots of shops and Butterbeer of course. The Forbidden Journey is the main ride in the large castle. Like Mario, the waiting line had some awesome decor any Harry Potter fan would appreciate...but we really didn't get to see since the wait time was 5 minutes! This ride is great, but intense...you are swung all around so be prepared! The other Harry Potter ride, Flight of the Hippogriff, is an outdoor coaster. It was very brief and mild. We then tackled the remaining areas on the upper level...Simpsons, Minions (5-minute wait) and the Studio Tour (15-minute wait). The Studio Tour is a great break as you can sit in the tour bus and relax for the 45-minute tour. It takes you through the studio as onto some movie sets. There are two "experiences" (Kong and Fast and the Furious) where you will drive into a tunnel, surrounded be screens and the bus will move and shake throughout the show. After a long day...we stopped by the shops to pick up some souvenirs before exiting through the CityWalk back to our car around 6pm. Very accessible and stroller friendly. Awesome staff throughout. Lockers avialble througout. Parent-swap and single-rider express available on many rides. Very clean and well-maintained throughout. Be sure to interact with the characters, including Jurassic World's raptor and Transformers' characters. read more

Teach the characters to not assume that families are committing incest when I was walking in with my at the time 13-year-old Daughter and 19-year-old son, donkey was at the front gate and accused me of sleeping with my Son. Needless to say that was a complete downer and turn off to wanna hang out at a park where characters don't have any manners or respect for people. Then to top of it all off I accidentally left my sunglasses on the pets ride and turned around and tried to get them and The young lady told me no no no we can't get on it and ride again and when I tried to tell her, I was getting my sunglasses. She said I don't care go away. So yeah universal teach staff some manners. They have terrible Customer Service skills. Not sure if I'll be coming back though that was my first time there and it was a terrible experience. read more

Super Mario World was amazing. Completely immersive and magical. Everythign was life-sized and I really felt like I was in the game or on a different plant. I highly recommend the mushroom calzones too ($13). Not overly priced considering you are inside a theme park and very filling. The drink was fun, but at $13, I will not ever order one again. Springfield Simpson experience was also a childhood dream come true. I drank a Flaming Moe at Moe's full-sized tavern and posed with Marge and Bart. The Simpsons ride gave me whiplash and almost made me puke. In general, the park has way too many motion simulator rides. It must be less expensive, but if you are motion sensitive, especially for first person shooter games like Doom, Halo, or Call of Duty; you might want to go to Six Flags or Knotts instead, because almost nothing here travels down an actual track. I got a much needed break from jerky vomit-ville by watching the Waterworld stunt show. I will not be back to ride the Fast and the Furious, which we got a little preview of on the Back Lot tour and promises to be more screens and special 3D glasses. No thank you. All in all, we had a great day and even though we spent over $130 per person per ticket, there is so much to do here, so many people walking around in full make-up and character and just so much attention to detail that it is a very unique, no-where-else, kind of experience. read more

Came to Universal Studios with the family. Hubs was in California for work, and we piggybacked on the second part of the trip. I haven't been to Universal Studios since I was a child. Tickets are pricy! We added Fast Passes to our tickets, and trust me, you need them. Many rides had wait times of over 2 hours if you didn't have the additional passes. We did the tour and it was nice. Glad to see Jaws (Bruce) still lurks in the waters. My teen child had a good time, which is what mattered. The baby didn't care as long as she had popcorn and her stroller fan. It was nice day so walking in the sun wasn't bad. Was it crowded? Of course but not annoyingly so. We will definitely come back once the toddler gets older. Again, get the Fast Passes if you go. Trust me on that one. read more

It's always a wonderful time in universal. The rides get super busy around 11 am, the wait time for Harry Potter around lunch was only 15 minutes, very fast. The longest wait time for me was transformers and Jurassic. I waited about 45 minutes + for each ride. Butter bear in Harry Potter and a pink donut in Simpsons is a must have when you go to universal! It was my first time in Nintendo and it was so beautiful. We spent the day here on a Thursday. It was the perfect time to come. The longest line we waited in was 25 minutes long. We got to do every ride and saw a few characters to take pictures with. We found a few places to eat at. The weather was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better day. Our group also paid for the front gate parking. Let me tell you that was the best $75 spent. After a long day of walking you don't have to go far to go home. They also gave us free waters and fruit snacks in the parking lot. read more

Overall we enjoyed our experience at Universal. The wait on a busy day is 45-50 mins. On a slow day, wait time is 15-30 mins. It's hard to gauge on the crowd. So I highly recommend that you download the app ahead of time so you are able to keep track of the wait time. Parking is ridiculous at $40. The parking lot is shared with Universal City Walk, so you gotta walk past City walk for about 15-20 mins before you actually get to Universal Studios. I would say this park is good for the older kids who are into Harry Potter and Mario. The rides are limited compared to other amusement parks but they have the tram ride that's good for 1 to 1.5 ride. The do rides is Mario Kart, Harry Potter, Transformers, and the Tram ride. They are opening up a new fast and furious roller coaster next year. So i'm excited to come back. The annual pass is affordable. But just wish the parking was more reasonable. The least favorite is the food!!! Everything there is horrible. The only decent place I would eat is at Minion and Mario cafes. For Mario Cafe, you gotta make a reservation to get in. read more

9/6-9/7/2023 It's been a few years since Emily (my sister) and I have gone on a sisters only trip and it's been a while since I went to Universal Studios. My sister really wanted to check out Super Nintendo world also. Here's a tip: you most definitely should pay for the Super Nintendo world EARLY ACCESS ($20 per person) because the line for the Mario Kart ride was ridiculously long. We tried to get a table for the Mushroom Cafe but that didn't pan out as we hoped so we ended up not going. Super Nintendo world was pretty much the newest part of Universal Studios that we haven't seen yet. This part of the park was pretty cool; the architecture and displays are true to the elements of Nintendo world. These will keep you occupied as you wait and walk the long, long path for the ride. Honestly, one day here would be sufficient unless you really love Universal studios. Emily and I finished all the rides the first day and we didn't want to waste Day two so we went on all the rides again except for the one in Super Nintendo world since it's too long. The Harry Potter section of the park has always been my favorite. The Universal Studios Tour was upgraded; you'll go into a couple tunnels and the tram will stop, but the screens inside the tunnels make you feel like you're in the scene and the sound quality is great. Emily tried out the upgraded Jurassic park ride and said everything was pretty much the same except they added a new dinosaur in it. I would have gone but since I got a fresh tattoo a couple of days ago, I couldn't go on it (it's a water ride with a huge drop at the end). In terms of food, don't have high expectations since it's a theme park. There will be lines to get food/drinks and it can be expensive (depending on what and how much). read more

I really like Universal Studios. I had a pass to Disney but have only been once to Universal so this year instead of Disney my whole family and I decided to get a Universal pass. I really like that I don't need to make a reservation if I feel like going on a random day I didn't know I would have free. The rides are all fun and suitable for kids of all ages. The only bad things are Secret Life Of Pets they don't let you eat in line? It was an hour wait and my gf bought some popcorn we were eating in line and they told us we're not allowed to. I'm also a caregiver and brought my client here for a day of fun. My client has disablilities and behavior problems but the staff wanted a list of exactly everything that they had. Disney didn't ask for about half the stuff Universal asked for. read more

It's disappointing and too expensive. The wait times are way too long. No shade anywhere. Everything is an upsell, it was like being at a fair where everything costs extra. If you have anxiety, don't go to mario world. The acoustics are horrible and made me about lose my mind. This place is way too small and way too unorganized to be charging the prices they charge. My husband and I had a quick trip out to Universal Studios Hollywood. We stayed right across the theme park at the Hilton Los Angeles/University City. It took approximately 10 minutes each morning to walk over to the theme park. It's been almost 7 years since I've last visited Universal Studios Hollywood! It has changed since my last visit, especially with the additional of Super Nintendo World and the Secret Life of Pets ride! We had a two-day ticket, buy one get one free. The 2-day admission was approximately $350.00 for both of us. We also added on the Early Access to one day, Thursday, for the Super Nintendo World. We didn't have a fast pass option, except for the Studio Tour, which was added on to the early access ticket for Super Nintendo World and had to be used before 11:00 A.M. It was a Thursday, in early February, a cold day. The theme park wasn't busy at all. There was pretty much no wait time except for the Minion ride and the Mario Kart ride, which was less than 45 minutes. We were able to walk on pretty much all of the rides. The only show that was available was the Tri-Wizard show at Harry Potter. The Water World show was down for maintenance. I think when I last came here at the theme park over 7 years ago, there was Animal Actors and the Light effects show, but both are shut down now. There are a variety of rides you can choose from at Universal Studios Hollywood. You can pretty much ride all rides in one day since the theme park is not particularly large. Rides at Universal Studios Hollywood: Flight of the Hippogriff Despicable Me Minion Mayhem Fast & Furious - Super Charged (part of the studio tour) Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey Dream Works Theatre featuring Kung Fu Panda Jurassic World - The Ride King Kong 360 3-D (part of the studio tour) Revenge of the Mummy Silly Swirly The Simpsons Ride The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash Studio Tour Transformers: The Ride 3D Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge Activities: DinoPlay Super Silly Fun Land There are a variety of food options too! We ate at several places inside the park! French Bistro Snack Bar Hogsmeade Toadstool Café A lot of the attractions at this theme park are 3D/4D rides. If you get motion sickness easily, I'd highly recommend avoiding these rides. I think my favorite rides this time around were the Mummy ride and the Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge ride. The Mummy ride was quick and had some amazing thrills. I'm a big fan of the Nintendo Series (Super Mario Brothers) and the Mario Kart ride had some great sections from the Mario Kart video games such as Rainbow Road! If you like to shop, there is a lot of stores! You'll pretty much go into a store after most of the rides. Universal Studios main store is at the entrance to the theme park! We had a great time here! I could see this place getting extremely busy over the summer. I'd recommend investing in a Fast Pass if it's during the busy season. read more

Overall prices were too expensive for what the park offered. Spent only a few hours there with how little there was to offer. All the good rides and shows are either gone or closed. Don't understand how people can wait in line for hours for some of these rides. We were lucky enough to go during the middle of the week and only have to wait about 20 minutes per ride. I've heard many times you're going to be waiting hours on end per ride. Hell no. The food we ate at Krusty Burger's (because all the other sit down restaurants were closed) was way overpriced for what it was ($90.00 for 3 burgers). Not exaggerating when I state we all threw away half of the food we ordered... Staff in the park were all very nice! We attempted to buy tickets online which were posted at $100 for So-Cal residence but nothing was available till mid-February. Yet, when we got to the park, it was completely empty, and we ended up paying $160.00 per ticket. At the end of the day, lower your prices and the majority of these reviews wouldn't be an issue. read more

The last time I visited Universal Studios was over 20 years ago and things have changed ! The admission ticket fluctuates ($150), depending on the time of year you visit, but it is sooooo worth it. One ticket for all the rides from 10PM to 6PM! Hours are longer during the Christmas and New Year. You can also upgrade, but not necessary if you don't mind waiting in line. I didn't mind the line up, because it was a chance to talk as well as recuperate from the last ride. The park has grown to different lands and have upgraded to a lot of 3D rides. There are: Super Nintendo World, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic World, Minion Land, Transformers Metrobase and Springfield. Some of my favourite rides where the Bowser's Challenge, Harry Potter Forbidden Journey, Jurassic ride, Studio Tour, Transformers, Life of Pets. Simpson's ride wasn't a favourite but a must do because it was one of the original rides that started the others. If you have a chance, play some games at Mario World and book a reservation to eat at Toadstool Cafe. The food is yummy and comparable to the other places. Bonus that the cafe is super cute! read more

Tiz the season to be Holly..wood! Our first Grinchmas was a holiday to remember. We started the day with our usual Starbucks coffee (we're a sucker for the holiday signature drinks) and a light lunch. We decided to go for the NEW "Drizzmatic Corn Dog" and let's just say it was WICKED good (BTW the Drizzle is avocado ranch). The Whoville decorations and actors were exceptional. The tree is amazing! However, the lines to meet the Grinch or Max.. realllly long wait time. Dont worry I have a PRO TIP to share. (Up to 130 mins to see the Grinch and 60 minutes to see Max) Pro tip: You can also meet n greet with the Grinch at the Studio Tour tram attraction for a fraction of the time. At the end of the tour there's a Small Whoville set-up with Santa Sleigh where you can meet and take photos with the the the... GRINCH! Our favorite things to do/see include: The Studio tour, water world show, Whoville & the Grinch, everything in Harry Potter-land (especially the butter beer and ice cream) the Simpsons food and basketball game, and last but not least, of course the Super Nintendo World. We got ourselves the bands where you can earn/collect coins. It's so much fun and it's an absolute must have. The only reason why I didn't give this review a 5 is because of the crowds. It's really busy during the holidays so wait times are expected to be long. Yes Universal Studios offer an Express pass but at $90 a person - hard pass. You can still tackle a lot if you stay for the whole day. Another pro tip: Vallet! I know what you're thinking, $60 for the day but the amount of time it saves you, not only parking but getting out, is a breeze! And easy access to the 101 freeway. Happy Holidays! read more

My favorite park in LA county!!! The history and the new attractions that are coming to this park are amazing! They're currently building the Fast and Furious ride that will be opened in June of 2026!! This is something I've been looking forward to! They have other attractions at Universal right now that are fun and very thrilling! The Jurassic Park ride went thru a renovation recently...it's wetter and better!!!! You won't be disappointed! The food selection is not the best, like Disneyland or even Knott's, but it's not bad. FYI, don't eat at "Cocina Mexicana" it's really bad! My suggestion, get your tacos outside the park. Universal still hasn't made an effort to get a really good taco spot inside the park. Very sad, because they have a lot of potential to invest in better food options here! Anyway, yes come here for everything else! The rides, the world famous studio tour, and enjoy your day with family and friends here! read more
