Not really a fan of Buffets but my husband does occasionally crave Chinese food. We tried this one based off of check ins from family/friends on fb. The food was actually really good. The sushi bar was really fresh and different. They had a ton of food options. Everything was flavorful. The only down side was this place was huge and it there was a lot of people there. The good line up was amazing. Hands down one of the best buffets I've eaten in a long time. The layout was amazing . It used to a Furs, and I can honestly say they had better food than Furs did . They have a wide range of food from Chinese to American . They even have a hibachi grille located inside where you choose your plate Ghengis grill style and they bring it to your table. The dessert bar is decent . I like that they have the frozen yogurt machine as well as ice cream that an attendant scoops for you. My favorites ? The crawfish and the mashed potatoes! My family and I went out to Irving for this place and it was well worth it. Uno1 is our favorite buffet in DFW. There's a great selection of foods! For my old man, he loves the Mongolian BBQ. I'm a big fan of the sushi. And my little brother loves all their fried creations. And the not only have the typical buffet fare (teriyaki chicken, etc.), they also have some unique and delicious creations of their own. I went on a Saturday night, and it was packed! You can tell everyone knows this is a great place to eat, and at what's really a shockingly low price. The waitstaff were also very friendly and prompt. So much food! There was a ton of people here but staff was moving them out pretty quickly. Food was plentiful and hot. Definitely enough variety that there is something for everyone. Visited Uno Chino with my sister and my 3 children today. Upon receiving the ticket we realized were charged for 5 people even though my 3 children were the only ones to eat. When my sister brought the situation to the manager on duty Lisa Lee's attention she said she was told we all ate. After asking to speak to the waiter to confirm with him that we hadn't ate she called the police. I paid my ticket to avoid any further confusion and left however I am appalled at the way the situation was handled I wont be back. Is this normal protocal? read more

This is probably one of the better Chinese buffets out there in the DFW area. I'm giving this a solid 4 stars in terms of its relation to other Chinese buffets and not to say like, a high-end sushi restaurant. Fortunately, this is a buffet so you can go ahead and choose whatever it is you're craving. Ambience for this place is like a typical buffet. Tons of people milling about and you'll see kids running around. The service is good and the turnover of the food is high so you can be assured that there is constantly fresh food being placed out. This place has been open for a while, but it still sees quite a bit of traffic so be prepared for a packed place during peak hours. If you're looking purely for a Chinese buffet at a decent price, then I would recommend this place to you. I tried as starter: boiled shrimps, oysters, and baby octopuses, with seaweed salad. Unfortunately, the seafood was bland and I had to put a lot of dipping sauces. I liked the LA kalbi barbecue and the ice cream (strawberry and peanut butter combo). Veggie tempura was also good. Others are not as flavorful. I paid $8.99 plus tax and tip. I came here once to give them a try about a year after their opening. They were very packed when we walked in so we thought it must be good. Well we were seated at a table and about 10 seconds later it hit me hard. A strong smell of urine was all I could smell the rest of our stay. One of the things that have kept me coming back is the large variety of dishes on the buffet; Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, seafood, ribs, wings, and more. There's something for everyone. Great selections of food, and the prices aren't astronomical. My boyfriend and I love going here, and have always left satisfied. The Jalapeño chicken is VERY GOOD, as well as every other thing I've tried. The only knock I have, is that the ice cream machine hasn't worked the last 3 times we've gone, and the desserts can be sparse; they just need to make sure that fresh desserts are always ready to go out. She never came and checked up on us and when we asked for a straw the waiter looked at us and threw the straws on the table. On top of that, the food was ok except that the food wasn't hot. Worst buffet I've been too & I'm NEVER RETURNING!! I was over charged for myself, lil sister and 3 toddlers for lunch time on a Monday, My tab was $51! After trying to figure out the charges with the waiter he then acted like he couldn't understand my Spanish or English!!! We weren't there no more than 30mins because there selection of food is just horrible!!!! I was craving Chinese buffet in Dallas so I found this location after reading all the positive reviews. We went on a Friday night and they had a huge variety of food at 8:00 PM. Three different types of fried fish, 2 different kinds of stir fried chicken, lemon/sesame/grilled chicken, Mongolian grill, sushi, desserts, ice cream, and a nice cold salad bar section. Also saw some barbecued items that we normally don't see in California. The wide variety makes this a great place to come for those that like the try a little bit of everything. The best part about this restaurant is the price, 12.00 for an adult dinner buffet, super reasonable priced! The only thing that lowers my rating from 5 to 4 stars is the extreme wait! Up to 45 minutes...not something they can help, but it does mean that an hour long meal can easily become two to two and half hours.
