    Nachos & Elote
    Jessica B.

Fantastic first impression! The place is very modern and fresh; neon signs, chandeliers, art murals, disco balls! My friend and I came here on a Friday night to check the place out. We sat at the bar and started with the nachos and elote dip. OMG!! Both were excellent. The nachos were sheet-pan nachos, as all nachos should be. Every single chip had toppings and there was not a soggy one in the bunch! Then we ordered tacos to share: carne asada & baja fish. The carne asada was my favorite! Juicy flavorful meat, toasted tortilla and delicious sauce. These kind and generous ladies sitting next to us shared their churros with us as it was an extremely large portion size. What a treat! I'm already looking forward to coming back here!

Stopped here on the way to the Cape. Had a hankering for some nachos and based on reviews this seemed like the place. Welp, let's just say that the nacho chips were the star of the show. Delicious and crispy they deserved a better life. Too much crema and not enough of the queso, beans or pico de gallo made these nachos supremely disappointing in flavor. All I could taste was crema, decidedly a one note tray of nachos. But wait....all of a sudden I get the unmistaken smell of fish! Yep...that was the Fish Tacos I had ordered making their way to me and announcing to every person along the way! Fishy tasting, dry and every indication these were made with frozen fish. Would never order again, luckily no forgetting them quickly as a healthy number of jalapeños were included with these tacos. If you like flavorless and disappointing food, check them out, otherwise maybe next time I'll stick to a liquid dinner. On a bright note the service was good and there was no wait to get on. Convenient parking in the back and that's about as good as gets.

Clockwise: fajita taco, Baja fish taco, and poblano chicken taco
    Alyanna T.

My partner and I ordered the gorditas, chicken fajita burrito, and one of each taco (school night, carnitas, poblano chicken, chipotle shrimp, carne asada, Baja fish, and fajita) - TASTE: 3/5 - our favorite was hands-down the carne asada taco (its charred pineapple salsa was delish), followed by the veggie fajita taco, and the burrito's side of green sauce. The rest of the tacos were alright; expected more seasoned meat and wished the sauces/fillings came through more, like the pickled red onions, lime crema, and cilantro TEXTURE: 4/5 - thought it'd be a meltier cheese in the fried gorditas. Definitely prefer flour tortillas over corn tortillas for tacos. The burrito's side of papas bravas was fried super well; every bite was crunchy! PRICE: 4/5 - came in knowing it'd be higher price points. Subtotal was $72 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - the tacos were pleasantly larger than we expected. Left feeling full SERVICE: 5/5 - walked in at 5pm on a Friday and only a few tables were occupied; downstairs was full by the time we finished. Felt welcome and taken care of the whole meal, the staff was friendly and attentive, and food started coming out 15min after ordering ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - hip, modern, and well decorated space. The circle table we sat at was small so plates were a tight fit, and there wasn't a coat hook at the table so we awkwardly laid our bulky winter coats on the table's third stool lol PARKING: 5/5 - parked in the free 3-hour public parking lot behind Uno Más / the Landing 53 apartment building

Hot and unbothered, chips with guac and salsa
    Andie S.

We went here on a date night and really enjoyed it! The chips and guac and salsa are a huge serving and the chips are crunchy and well seasoned. I got the brisket burrito with a side of sour cream and queso, highly recommend that order! Plus it's big enough for 2 meals. I also got the hot and unbothered mocktail which I really liked and wasn't too spicy. Our server was so nice and attentive. Such a good spot for a date night!

This place was a great pit stop on our way to Cape Cod. Parking lot behind the restaurant was convenient. The drink list was on point. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Nice bright lighting with a cool mural in back. There is also a patio!

The food was good, the beer could be a bit colder, but the quesadillas were very average. Overall the experience was good, but for a quick brunch I was expecting to have a better and faster service. The environment was cozy, love how we got a high table and I felt comfortable (not big fan of big tables usually). Sitting outside might be a bit overwhelming because we're to close to a very busy street and traffic lights. Overall I do recommend this place.

Margaritas ~ favorite was the passion fruit
    Hailey C.

For drinks, our favorite was the passion fruit spiced margarita. For food we got the nachos, elote corn dip (our favorite) & the papas bravas which were kind of like home fries. All so good! And their chips taste home made and fresh. Bartenders & severs were great. The atmosphere is fun, lighting is dark so may not be best for older people. Will definitely be coming back. The owners also own Liberty Tavern in Quincy which is another favorite spot.

    The Flamingo cocktail

Excellent food, drinks and service. Great atmosphere and decor. Highly recommend the Elote and Guacamole. And the Flamingo cocktail is delicious. Looking forward to returning.

    Pink pony club

Finally got around to trying this new spot and was not disappointed. Drinks were amazing. Food was delicious and portion sizes were plenty. And the service couldn't be beat even on a busy Saturday night!

The place itself was small too so the music really overpowered everything. But once the live music wrapped up the vibes were good! Not too loud that I was screaming over it, but still lively. I got the Heart of Stone which was delicious! Not too sour or sweet, but was definitely a strong cocktail. I had 3/4 of it and I was already feeling it. My friend got an Old Fashioned and she was a big fan! It went down quite smoothly and tasted good too. For $14 a drink, it was a little pricy but honestly I've seen places in Boston charge more. I would recommend coming here to grab drinks but maybe not a spot to catch up because of how loud it was. Would love to try their food as it looked pretty good!

I went with a seat at the bar, and was greeted right away by one of the bartenders, and provided menus. There are a lot of great options on the menu - appetizers, bowls, salads, main courses, lots of beer on top, cocktails, and nonalcoholic cocktails as well. On the bartenders recommendation, I went with the Baja fish tacos, and upgraded my side to tater tots. The tacos were generously sized, with two small pieces of fish per taco, mango salsa, avocado, red cabbage, and chipotle aioli. They were the perfect depth of flavor, with savory, and sweet, and a touch of spice. I'm so glad I upgraded to the tots - they were perfectly crispy and delicious. Will for sure be back to try more of the menu!

Apps were overcooked chicken fingers ...a very good chicken quesadilla and some pita bread with a blah feta cheese dip. Very good selection of beers on a side note. I got the bayou chicken with pasta. A very tasty creamy dish with a hint of heat. One other dish was a bolognese that I'm told is very good. Rumor at bar was that the burgers were the best around. I did see a flatbread pizza that looked ok. Also the chips and salsa has the thin chips ...not sure if they are heated though. Overall a decent atmosphere and pub food.

The inside has a really fun upscale lounge vibe with colorful lighting, floral decor, hanging lanterns, and a huge centerpiece tree that makes the whole space feel almost like you are dining in a tropical garden. It feels trendy and lively without being overly loud, which made it a great spot for both dinner and drinks. For drinks, I ordered the mai tai and one of their mocktails. Both were well presented and came in beautiful glasses. The mai tai was refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet like many places make them. The mocktail was also excellent and felt thoughtfully made rather than just tasting like juice. For food, the short ribs pho was fantastic. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the portion was generous with tender pieces of meat. Definitely one of the better pho presentations I have had in the area. I also ordered the sizzling steak pate with baguette, which came out hot and smelled amazing. The steak was tender and savory, the egg added richness, and pairing everything with the fresh baguette made for a really satisfying dish.
