Elin was great, my hands came out so beautiful. My feet on the other hand...the girl cut my toe nails super short and she didn't even ask if she can cut them. I was so pissed because she made my toes look like tiny sausages. The nail polish on my toes did not dry well and it smudged, I'm just going to fix it myself. I didn't even ask to get a stone pedicure so I am not sure how I was charged $63 (not including gratuity) for a gel manicure, and a regular pedicure. I even said "regular pedicure" somehow I ended up with hot stone pedicure. Elin took her time doing my gel manicure, I was the only one there and when I sat down two people walked in but there was only two workers at the salon. One girl eventually left but the other girl stayed and waited. Another girl opened the door and saw the nail techs busy with me and left. This was around 4pm, they are both pretty fast but Elin is the fastest and she does a great job. I was out of there by 4:36pm. I guess this review is for the girl that did my toes, not for Elin! Not sure why they got so many good reviews. My friend and I went in for 2 pedicures and here are the things that went wrong: I asked them for a Lysol wipe because there was food on the remote used for the massage chair. It took me over 20 minutes and asking at least 5 times before they gave it to me. They just kept saying they already disinfected the seat. They did not cut the cuticles They did not put lotion on my feet. My feet were more rough after the pedicure than before. My friend asked for her nails to be shorter, they didn't do it until she asked if she could just do it herself. They ripped the bag open to drain the water while my feet were still in it. When I took it out, the lady continues to true to my feet back in, even though I said the water is contaminated now since the bag is no longer providing a protective barrier. She rolled her eyes at me. The pedicure was $30 and they aren't patient with their customers request for proper hygiene. I wouldn't go back. read more

The quality of products they use here is a lot better than most other salons in the area. They prefer cash but take card. Charged me $5 extra to get two nails done with chrome, idk if that means they'd charge $25 for all ten nails? The guy who did my nails cut them a little too short but overall, I really like how they look :). They don't take appointments and parking is a bit tight so make sure you're aware of that. They have a stamp card and after 10 visits you get $5 off. Not bad! Would definitely recommend this place :) read more

This place not the fanciest. Seems clean, only dirty thing I noticed was the chairs (picture attached). They are very friendly and use this machine I've never seen before (picture also attracted). It absorbs all the powder particles from the filling they do. They also use natural dipping powder instead of the regular powder. Unfortunately I didnt ask if that was extra. My total for a fill and French was $33. Which means the fill itself was $28. That pretty expensive for a fill. But my mani, this girl probably took a good 10 mins on my nails and you can tell!!! I called in for an appointment, but was told it was walk-in only. Elin did my nails. She was gentle and careful when filing and cleaning my cuticles. There were several gel colors to choose from, and I chose to go with something more bold. She suggested hot pink, so I trusted her judgement. She gave me a beautiful french tip, which I love. French tip gel was $30, which was reasonable. They charge an additional $1 fee for credit card payment, so make sure to bring cash! The three stars is not for technical skills, but for the inability to work with the customer. I have been coming here the last few times to get my nails done and had no complaints. The last place I went to had done a horrible job with an acrylic set that Elin was able to fix. Everyone who has done my nails since has done a great job. I've mostly been sticking to gel only. However, today, I left unhappy with the color on my nails. I was looking to get the sample color I chose, a black sparkly color. Instead I got what is in the picture. (Again, technically well done, just not the right color.) They were pretty packed, so I figured I'd call and ask for a more convenient time to come in. I was told to come right back, wait for an hour, and then get them fixed. I asked if I could just go in an hour since I have other things to do today. I was also just there for two hours today already. I was told that was not possible because they don't take appointments. I was willing to come in when it was convenient for them, but they were not willing to work with me. I will be going to another place to get my nails redone in the color I want and will most likely not be coming back. Biggest thing for me with nail salons is time. I usually don't make an appointment so knowing it was Sunday I thought I was going to wait for a while. Surprisingly it was not. As a male I still feel a little awkward walking in to nail salons but I felt comfortable at UNO. (Every man should come get a callus treatment every once in a blue moon, cmon guys get it together) the ladies were nice and worked quickly. I've been to nail salons where I've felt rushed and this place didn't. For pedicures they have 4 different options. A stone massage or a mud. +5 for the callus treatment. They other two options are combinations that come with the callus treatment and some additional stuff. The regular pedicure is and I'm sorry I can't remember the exact price but around 25-30 dollars. And the combination was 45. Not to bad at all compared to most locations. It's my first time here and I use to drive out all the way to orange to take care of my gargoyle nails. First time here. Got a manicure and pedicure. Had the Dip Powder. Here they dip the base but use gel nail color. They are so sweet! They were quick yet detail oriented. I loved the fact that even though I chose the color, they applied and asked if I was sure. I was able to change the color if I pleased which other salons don't give the curtesy. I have been on the lookout for a new nail tech because my OG nail tech does not have the jewel decorations I want. A friend had recommended me UNO Nails. So I decided to try them out. I got an acrylic nail fill with jewels on my ring finger. It was love at first sight... hence the one star because if not I would have not put ant stars down... unfortunately it did not last long at all. by the second day one tip had already popped off and I hate wearing nails with any tips missing. So I had to take time away from my day to go back to UNO Nails to fix the nail. They did not charge me to fix the nails however, I still gave a tip. To my surprise the nail tech told me next time she is going to charge me for fixing HER MISTAKES!! I would understand if my nail broke by the tenth day plus but only two days went by and one broke. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!! By the third day another fingernail started lifting. To avoid going back I temporarily held it down with crazy glue. By the ninth day another began to lift. I then could not take these CHEAP QUALITY nails anymore and went to another nail salon where they fixed all of my nails. Long Story Short : I ONLY HAD THE ACRYLIC NAIL SET FOR LESS THAN 10 DAYS. WASTE OF MY MONEY AND TIME AND THEY DO NOT DO APPOINTMENTS SO YOU NEVER KNOW IF YOU WILL RECEIVE IMMEDIATE SERVICE. NEVER COMING BACK!! read more
