In the end, decided to do a fill and let me tell you, I cannot stop looking at my nails. My vibe for April was "April showers," and I showed Jennifer what I had in mind. Friend brought me because she loves this salon. I haven't found any near me that inspired a repeat visit. I usually get a pedicure but this time we both got the holiday deuxe special. I got a full set with chrome by Becky, who went above and beyond with making sure my nails looked fantastic, and the best dang foot massage by Theresa. Woah, buddy. I really do have happy feet. This was my first time ever coming to this nail salon it was amazing! The service was awesome and they even gave me a menu for drinks and snacks, I had informed them it was also my birthday and they had given me a discount which made my nails a lot more affordable. Overall I recommend this place depending on what design you get it could be on the pricier side but they have pretty great prices. I visited Luxe Nails & Spa for a nail fix, but decided to opt for a fill instead. I usually do the gel builder, and pricing was reasonable and I was getting ready to go out of town. Oh, and they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even allowing me to walk in without an appointment. I was seated with Becky, who was incredibly sweet, gentle, and attentive. She took the time to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the shape and color of my nails. Becky even noticed an air bubble on one of my nails and promptly fixed it to prevent it from breaking or lifting later. Her keen eye for detail was evident when she pointed out that one of my nails was wider than the others, which was a result of coffin-shaping my nails. But I went in got a mani and pedi, the pedi package I got had a foot massage and I felt nothing when she did the massage. Doing my manicure the spinning tool, it kept pinching my fingertips. Honestly ive never gotten so many ouches during a mani. The ladies are nice but they had a very limited selection of colors so I didnt really like that. My last visit was very disappointing and did not live up to my first visit at this salon. I got the deluxe pedicure, which includes a 10 minute massage. The massage is the only reason why I order deluxe pedicures, so it was extremely disappointing how the nail tech spent 5 minutes of the massage just caressing lotion over my toes, another 4 minutes caressing lotion over my legs, and the last 1 minute was the only time ever spent actually massaging. I would have gotten the basic pedicure had I known the service I was looking forward to would not be adequately provided for. Furthermore, I got cut in 3 different places during the filing. Since I was cut, the citrus applied to my toes during the deluxe pedi stung so much. This was quite the opposite of a calming experience. To top it all off, my nail tech dropped a gooey liquid on my leather sandal (which are newly purchased and expensive) which has now stained my sandal. She tried to say it was water but it clearly isn't as my sandal is now stained. I couldn't help but think how much better off I would have been if I chose to not get a pedicure after my last visit! Overall the ambiance is not my favorite either, but it was something I was willing to look past during my first visit as it wasn't a dealbreaker for me. They play popular music instead of calming, relaxing instrumental music. It isn't easy to wind down with loud pop playing or loud Christmas music; I've always preferred calm instrumental music in salons. (However I know this is personal preference and may not be a popular opinion!) I had visited this salon back in October and had difference nail techs. That experience was pleasant which is why I came back. They were great at getting in-grown toe nails. This experience did not live up to that time. One thing I do find valuable about this salon is the front desk worker. She makes sure the salon is running smoothly, offers drinks to the guests, and gives little goodie bags at the end of the service. Other salons' front desk workers have not been quite as engaging and helpful as she has been. I would say that she is the best part of the salon! read more

I went in as a walk in after work and I was helped very quickly! However this was the most painful manicure I have ever gotten. My nails are in so much pain. I got a builder gel set and curing it under the light hurt so bad. I know it is normal as it's not the first time I have done builder gel but the lady who was doing my set was upset about me taking my hand out from under the lamp. I understand how it could be annoying, though it was unbearable pain. the lady was doing my pedicure at the same time had to tell my manicurist something as well. And it happened multiple times. When prepping and filing my nails, she multiple times filed my skin with the e-file as well as with the hand file. I definitely could have spoken up but I did not want to upset the tech even more. My fingers and nails hurt so bad. Unfortunately, not a great relaxing experience. I'm on the hunt for a reliable go to nail salon and unfortunately Luxe Nails isn't it. My first visit was a little awkward but I saw potential, so I decided to go back and brought my mom with me. I honestly regret it. We had an appointment but still had to wait a long time. I told my mom not to bring her water because the salon offers drinks, but we weren't offered anything. The techs were very aggressive and for the first time in my long history of getting pedicures, I was actually cut. The woman tried to hide it by rinsing it with water, but it kept bleeding. Instead of properly treating it, she continued with the massage and covered it with lotion. Only later did she finally use alcohol and cotton, which she should have done from the start. They also cut my mom, and then changed her polish color without asking because they said it was "better." She wanted a deep red, but they used a red with white glitter. When asked if she liked it, she said no, but we just wanted to leave. This place has potential but it's inconsistent and the "girl bosses" really need to manage their staff better. read more
