This place has good potential. Taste is good but It gives the customer the impression that it's a family restaurant that lacks a business management experience. Poor seating arrangement doesn't make the best use of space. Therefore, it doesn't take long before customers are waiting for seating while staff scramble to clean tables. Inconsistent dishes contribute to sense of adventure but definitely not comforting knowing it will change. My wife and I both ordered the Seafood Phõ and while her bowl had shrimp, squid, & imitation crab mine lacked imitation crab. The broth was clean, clear, & tasted great. The young wait staff (teenager) lacked knowledge of the menu and had to ask the kitchen staff to answer our questions. Perhaps the menu should include all ingredients so customers have less questions; perhaps the staff should have better knowledge of what they offer; perhaps both need addressing. The bowls use for Phõ are too deep, lack width, and have somewhat of a funnel design. This makes it very difficult to spoon the bottom of your soup. The funnel design also gives the false appearance of having a large bowl. . Not sure what the intent was here. Not wanting to rate based opening day, we gave it another try today. During our second visit the Seafood Phõ had shrimp, squid, and no imitation crab but now it contained fish balls. The inconsistency continues. read more

Another great local Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver. Inside is very clean and the service is friendly. The price was reasonable and the Pho was decent. The broth is what make Pho great and it didn't give me that wow factor. I ordered grilled shrimp and it was cooked to death. They over cooked it. I don't know why people are hatin! This place is bomb. Spicy fish sauce, GIANT bowls of Pho and my son loved his pork dish. Plus you can always tell right off the bat by the egg rolls. They are very good. The place was busy but didn't have to wait. There was a leak from their air duct but it's a new re-rebuild so that's expected. Service was average, but not below any marginal expectations. People on here want 5 star service for some reason but only want to pay basic prices... oh yeah! Beef based pho was savory and delicious. However, the broth of the chicken based pho needed extra additions to bring it to life. Service was good and food came out from the kitchen fast. Decor is nicely done with a large dining bar in the center of the room and tables surrounding. Not sure why this place got any negative reviews. The food is delicious, the servers are amazing and the food gets out quickly. Maybe the others cane when it first opened. I normally dine in and enjoy their Pho, but I wasn't able to get away from work so I ordered delivery and decided to try the Vermicelli. Huge disappointment. The cleanest Pho shop I've ever been visited. Even the sauce trays are immaculate. No wall spatter. Now to eat. Pho is delicious. Broth is spiced very well and bean sprout and herbs all fresh. My husband and I had lunch here for the first time on Sunday, August 11. My husband is a diabetic and his blood sugar was dropping. They brought us an appetizer relatively quickly which helped. But he continued to have problems so I needed to get him home. We packed up the leftovers and paid the bill. Our waiter was very kind and helped me get him to the car. But then the second time we had ordered our food to go (this was in January) and when we went to pay the lady didn't use a cash register or a calculator to do the math and she shorted us $15. I didn't realize it until we were in the car and half way home. I thought about going back but decided I wasn't going through that hassle again! We had already sat there waiting for our food for 15 minutes even though we had placed our order 30 minutes prior to getting there. I had been looking for a new Pho place, since me previous favorite was sold and new recipes were not to my liking. I finally gave this a try and am VERY excited to report its the best Pho I've had yet! The beef broth is so good, I don't want to add hoisin or siracha! The meatballs were the other thing I was looking for and their meatballs are VERY good. The brisket is excellent, so a very, very solid Pho with several other options. I have never had Pho before, and if this is what it is like, I probably will not have it again. The customer service was 5 starts, the Pho was OK according to my son who has had Pho before. As for me Pho is not for me. I also ordered a strawberry bubble tea, and chicken fried rice. The tea was not a tea, it might as well been a strawberry icy, and was not very flavorful. The chicken fried rice was to not good either. I'm sorry I bought it. I ended up throwing it away. Sorry, your food was not worth the almost $60 dollars I paid for 2 people. I noticed everyone else gave them good reviews, so maybe Pho is just not for me. I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

This is the best Pho I've had in the Vancouver / Portland area in years. The broth is so flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The noodles are slightly chewy and taste freshly made. We have ordered and had dinner in the restaurant, pick up several times since they opened. Until recently the food has been very good and well prepared. The last two times there have been problems, with the last pick up order on this date was poor on every level. It could be a staffing issue or weekend traffic but the food was assembled in a sloppy mess. On our three orders of the soup they did not include any of the Bamboo Shoots, Thai basil, Jalapeño and other important items. They have also been cutting back on the meat and noodle portion sizes. This has been something many restaurants are doing with the inflation pricing. After spending nearly $50, what we got for the money wasn't worth it. When I called the restaurant to tell them the problem with items missing their only response was, "we've been busy so I don't know what to say?" Nothing about adjusting the price or making it up on future purchases. In the future, our family will order elsewhere for Pho as there are other options in the area. read more

Well, the food eventually came, my dining partners 10 minutes before mine, he had to send it back not what he ordered, it was tripe and disgusting, the "pork" egg rolls arrived 5 minutes later, except they were shrimp, my pho arrived eventually except it was not what I ordered, it wasn't even pho, beef with shrimp over rice and vegetables (dry)...
