To start, I am incredibly particular when it comes to wellness and self-care services. I have had too many experiences where I have left feeling underwhelmed while still paying a premium price. So when I say this was one of the best spa and hair care experiences I have ever had, I truly mean it. First, Jaimie, the founder, is exceptional. I really appreciated that she has a background in nursing in addition to extensive training in hair and scalp care. It gave me confidence that she approached my hair from a holistic perspective rather than trying to sell me products or unnecessary services. She also graciously fit me in for a haircut the very next day before an event despite her already busy schedule. Special shout-out to her husband, who was working the front desk when I called- he may have been one of the kindest and most professional people I have ever spoken with while booking an appointment. During my haircut, Jaimie took the time to explain her recommendations, walking me through the reasoning behind the length and style she suggested. I never felt rushed, and it was clear she genuinely cared about giving me the healthiest result rather than just getting me in and out of the chair. It has now been over a month since my appointment, and my hair still feels noticeably healthier than it did before. As for the head spa service, I honestly don't know if I can fully put into words how relaxing it was. I booked the 120-minute Wish List experience with Briana because I was feeling especially stressed and wanted to treat myself before my event. I am so glad I did because it was worth every penny. The experience began with a thoughtful scalp and hair analysis, followed by an incredibly thorough cleansing, rinse, and deep conditioning treatment. The upper body massage was phenomenal and helped release so much of the tension I carry in my neck and shoulders. Briana finished with a beautiful blowout, and throughout the entire experience she was attentive, gentle, and incredibly skilled. The peaceful atmosphere--with soft lighting, aromatherapy, calming music, and a quiet treatment room--made it feel like I had completely escaped from the outside world. If you are looking for a place to truly unwind, de-stress, and invest in the health of your scalp and hair, I cannot recommend this enough. My bestie and I went there to celebrate our birthdays with the 75 min relax treatment. They did an amazing job with the scheduling experience, through their survey and when I spoke to Bentley about needing to reschedule at one point. We started off the experience by being given birthday champagne, which was a lovely touch. And the room was nicely decorated and we LOVED how they surprised us with little cakes from Nothing Bundt Cake, the handwritten cards sealed in wax. Visited Unplugged Head Spa in San Diego for my birthday girls' trip, and it was hands-down one of the most pampering experiences I've had at a headspa. I've been to headspas in other cities, but this one felt truly luxurious and thoughtfully done from start to finish. We booked the 75 minute couples experience, and it was so much more than a scalp treatment it was a full upper-body reset.It started with a lovely facial, and every product they used smelled amazing. The therapists were so intentional and calming with every movement. Then came the most thorough hair wash and scalp treatment, plus an incredible scalp, neck, and shoulder massage. They even massaged our arms, hands, and upper back. The owner made it feel incredibly personal handwritten custom welcome cards, tea, and even a small birthday gift for me. I also loved that the products left my hair feeling fresh, clean, and not greasy at all, and they took their time drying and finishing. Honestly, it felt less like a "head spa" and more like a high-end spa experience. My only regret is not booking a longer treatment I could have happily stayed another hour. I've only been to one other Head Spa but this place was much better. The intention and attention to detail made for a wonderful experience. The moment you step into the room, it immediately puts you at peace. The overall aesthetics were beautiful but it was also clean and very comfortable. All the products they used smelled so good. The original therapist I was scheduled with called in sick but Baylee was able to take care of me and she was amazing. I have piercings on my ears and they get sensitive when hit, she was very careful to avoid them and didn't knock them once. The massage was so relaxing, I enjoyed every second of it. Where do i begin? Crazy story how i came across & met this Amazing hair stylist. I was stressing to find a great place to get a hair due for the Marine Corp Ball. Not only was i looking for a stylist for my hair due but for a hair change. Flying out to San Diego from San Jose Ca.
