Imagine my surprise when I ordered the Pineapple Express and the barista started cutting up fresh fruits including the pineapple! What a treat! The drink itself had the perfect blend of juices, honey, ginger and cinnamon! I would drink this every day if I could. The banana milk was fresh as was the banana milkshake. So yummy! Customer service was great and the view from the spot is breathtaking!

Breakfast to start the day in West Seattle across the street from the water taxi pier. Locally owned with super friendly service. Got the burning beta juice and blt bagel. The burning beta lived up to its name. It had a kick with the cayenne. Initially you could get all the flavors but the cayenne took over from the pineapple, orange after a few sips. Good concept a little less on the cayenne would have allowed the other flavors to come through. The blt bagel was good. The bacon was perfectly cooked, nice and crispy. The fresh tomatoes were very good. Cream cheese was used instead of mayo and red onions finished the bagel. I went light on the cream cheese and that was a good idea. Unless you really like red onions I would go without. Everything is made to order by the 1 person that works there. We had no issue since there was no one in front of us. But other folks had to wait that came in after. For your info this is a take out cafe, no eating or drinking in the establishment.

I popped into this cute cafe and ordered an iced latte (no extra flavors) it was so good just the espresso and milk combo & I ordered the lox sandwich which was very tasty. There isn't seating inside, but you can walk right across the street with your food and enjoy amazing views of the Seattle waterfront!

Vanessa has owned this beautiful coffee shop for 9 years and it shows. It's a wonderful representation of the perfect morning spot for a cup of coffee and a unique bagel sandwich. Most coffee shops don't put this much time and love into their food anymore. I was impressed with her extensive and healthy menu. She uses organic local coffee beans and the flavor is so rich and delicious! I recommend stopping by and giving this wonderful gem a try. You'll be glad you did.

What a lovely little cafe with chill and cozy decorations. I had the lavender milk tea and the BLT bagel sandwich. I love how for both my drink and my sandwich, Vanessa asked me about every detail -- how sweet do I want my boba, how much cream cheese do I prefer on my bagel, and so on! The sandwich had just the right amounts of everything and the lavender tea with boba was just how I like it. Don't miss out on the view across the Bay towards downtown Seattle! I parked in the parking lot across the way and sat near the rocks by the water and enjoyed the sandwich, boba, and the view, thoroughly. I'll definitely be back!

Such a cute little cafe at the beginning on Alki! The owner Vanessa is so sweet, we stopped in on a weekday morning and we're surprised at just how busy she was. Post covid similar to Dicks Drive-In you order your food to go instead of eating inside. Snagged "the Nova", and Avacodo Toast Bagel. YUM! Also tried to Thai iced tea with bobba, the PB&J bowl and Açaí bowl. All very delicious! Can't wait to stop back in for coffee and cameras!

I've loved this place for ages - used to have a little office in the Active Space building down the street, and would come here regularly for the most DELICIOUS bubble tea ever, and a lovely chat with Vanessa, the owner. Vanessa is an absolutely wonderful human being, and I was so happy to discover that she and her fabulous cafe managed to weather the pandemic! Just got my old favorite, lavender milk tea with boba, and wow yes Vanessa's still got that magic touch. Soooooo good! For those of you who know what I'm talking about, she has the real deal milk tea - not the weird powdered stuff you find sometimes. And her boba is always perfectly soft and yummy. And she's always so incredibly sweet about making sure you like it - she always invites me to try the drink and then let her know if she can change anything, add sweetener, etc. And she totally means it! She will take it back and change anything you want her to. Do yourself a favor and head down here, grab a bubble tea, get to know Vanessa (such a cool human), and then go enjoy the gorgeous view across the bay while indulging in bubble tea bliss :)

This place has the best boba and milk teas, so much so that we still make a point of driving out to west seattle when we visit, even though it's been years since we lived here! Vanessa, the owner, is incredibly sweet and a pro who has trained with authentic boba places all over including in Asia, and she uses the good stuff (which if you know, you know). You can get your drink hot, with light sugar, however you like it which is not the case at many places! Also a full espresso (taro lattes anyone?) and smoothie menu plus bagel sandwiches and smoothie bowls. I got a black sesame milk tea with boba this time, and it is phenomenal!! She even adjusted the sweetness for me after I took a sip as she always offers to do. Just amazing service and drinks.

I got the chia chia smoothie, huge mistake. It was more like water with flavor and chia seeds. It tasted just like lemon water, that's it. I don't know how it was so watery, yet the boba was frozen. My boyfriend had the peanut butter swirl, it tastes like a PB n J. Not bad but average. His was more like a smoothie but still a bit too watery. I don't care about how long service takes but it took them a long time to make such poor quality boba tea. And the price, $30 for a small and a large?! I could've made better quality at home.

This plan is such a gem!!! Have lived in WS and walked Alki for years and somehow stumbled upon it today. Super fresh menu, DELICIOUS lox bagel and more than your average cafe flavors. Really kind staff as well. Compared to some of the older dingey restaurants, perfect fo grab a quick bite or coffee and sit by the water or go for a walk. Would reccomend! read more

OMG. I don't understand how long this gem of a place was unnoticed by me! I had it on my list for a long time, but I just recently gave it a try. And then I came back for more! It's conveniently located on the way to Alki Beach, on the other side of a public parking space and the water taxi. They have a wonderful selection of smoothies, teas, breakfast bowls, and sandwiches. Everything is super fresh (it may take a few minutes, but this is no fast food place people!), and tastes amaaaaazing. My favorite so war is the "berry indulging" smoothie and the BLT Bagel with extra cream cheese (enough to share). Hmmmm. So if you are ever in West Seattle make sure to stop by and enjoy the great menu paired with a fantastic view. read more

This place is adorable! Very tasty food and coffee freshly made! It is a small space so they don't have room to sit and eat there, that is why they are to-go only. They do provide an adorable bench outside to sit and eat while you look out at the water. read more

Local GEM in West Seattle! Deliciously brewed BLACK MILK TEA. This is in my top three milk teas in the Seattle area and I've been around the block tasting many, many, many times! Also, treat yourself to the homemade biscotti--AMAZING! TIP: check to make sure they are open before going and it's helpful to call ahead to place order. The owner, Vanessa, is just a pleasure to chat with and it's pretty dang cozy inside. Walk across the street and stroll along the passenger ferry dock with an amazing view of downtown Seattle. read more

The first day we tried coming here she told us she had a to go order that was gonna take her about 25 minutes, & we didn't have time to spare. So, we came back the next day & ordered to go. It took about 20 minutes from when we called. We got a couple coffees that were excellent, a pucker smoothie that was incredible, & some bagel sandwiches that were also delicious. Everything tasted super fresh & well made. It's got a beautiful view of the bay right across the street. We would definitely go back! read more

Best breakfast sandwiches we've had in as long as we can remember. We got the pineapple juice drink (hot) which was super different and like a citrusy hot cider. The view of course was gorgeous and we watched a ferry leave and could see a bunch of Elliott Bay. This is not the closest spot to our place but 100% worth driving to for an actually filling and substantial breakfast. read more

Actual Fresh made to order juices! They use fresh ingredients for there smoothies as well. Great selection of Bagel Sandwiches, coffees, teas, chai and smoothie bowls. I ordered the Go Green and added pineapple to it! It was very good. Closed on Monday! read more

Upon entry, this cafe is warm and inviting. Walked in on drizzly day to find a warm cafe with refreshing aromas of fresh ingredients. The food looked delicious, but the moment I opened the box to take a bite, I was told that everything is made togo and that I could take my food outside. Guess that's what I get for thinking a place that describes itself as cozy would want people to stick around. The breakfast at this place is unreal! The bagel sandwiches are made fresh to order and taste amazing. These are the thickest, yummiest smoothies that you'll find in west seattle. The ingredients are super fresh and you can definitely taste it. My only complaint is the price $8-10 for a juice or smoothie is a little much. read more

Good location but the coffee was honestly underwhelming. I got an oat milk latte and I'm not sure if it was just the oat milk that wasn't good, but I didn't end up finishing it. They have a decent tea selection though and the smoothies looked really good and were made fresh. The staff were really nice and the space was cute, although very small so be prepared to wait outside for your order if there are a few other people there. read more

This little shop is a hidden gem. My food is always ready on time and they are super friendly. The sandwiches are delicious and they make it special by taking the time to add those little thoughtful touches: asking if you like a lot or a little cream cheese, peppering the tomato, perfect veggie to meat ratios, etc. I've tried the ham & cheese, club, & nova so far all of them have been delicious. I am so sad that we're moving away from West Seattle because we just finally tried this place's smoothies and they're AMAZING. So smooth, so fruity, so tropical. We got the mango paradise and the berry smoothie (forgot the name but it had mixed berries and chocolate in it). Both were great! The owner (I think) is a super cool dude. We would definitely come here again when we're back in Alki :). Make sure to support local businesses like this one!!! read more

I'm from Olympia but we got a job just up the Street from this café. It's hard to find a good juice bar and I was lucky enough to find this one. The café is a small business right on the beach so you can grab an organic smoothie or juice and step right back onto Alki. I have yet to try the food but I'm sure it's just as amazing as the drinks! I'm not going anywhere else! And you won't find anyone friendlier than the owner welcoming you herself :) read more

Stopped in this morning on our way to Vashon and I'm so happy that we did. The cafe itself is cozy and welcoming. The staff working today (a woman and a man) were both incredibly kind. We ordered the sunrise and the club breakfast sandwiches on Parmesan bagels and they were incredible! We ordered a dirty chai to go, and that was amazing too. Everything is fresh and made to order. Stopped here mid bike ride. The food and coffee were great! I sat outside to eat my food and drink my coffee, but when finished, was told The cafe wouldn't accept my trash...from the cafe. Was disappointed that after buying a coffee and sandwich, I had to ride down the street to throw my cup, bag, and container away from the cafe. read more

They are willing to make your bevvy dreams a reality. In retrospect, some of the flavor combinations I've suggested are nightmares. But, I am a Goblin. The interior has themed rooms which are kept clean by Seattle and Goblin standards, but would be considered fairly dirty anywhere in Japan. It can get busy on the weekends, but this Goblin knows what it's like to be slammed, so I wait patiently and be respectful. It's nice to see an unpretentious flavor forward cafe run by young women doing so well. Their Hazelnut lattes don't lack flavor and taste like you "don't get it". Their coffee tastes like you were finally invited to the dance. While the market has decided that a Goblin will pay at least $8 for a coffee now, I'll fight back my Goblin tears and say "WORTH IT, WORTH IT, YOU ARE WORTH IT!". I took 1 star off because no place is perfect. I'd also like to see patrons of West Seattle businesses do more as a community to keep these spaces clean and tidy.

There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

So they don't use fresh fruit in most of their offerings. My first visit here they made me a smoothie with mostly processed ingredients. The second time I ordered a juice. Only one other order ahead of me. After already standing there waiting for 10 minutes, the barista rudely stated "just so you know I'm still make their order (they ordered one coffee between two people! Get real!) and it's going to be another 10 minutes. I don't want you standing around here".... um excuse me? I'm minding my own business. What the actual eff? How rude!? Like why is that even appropriate to say?? I'm standing here waiting for my drink and haven't said anything. What else am I supposed to be doing? And for another 10 minutes!!?
