They are willing to make your bevvy dreams a reality. In retrospect, some of the flavor combinations I've suggested are nightmares. But, I am a Goblin. The interior has themed rooms which are kept clean by Seattle and Goblin standards, but would be considered fairly dirty anywhere in Japan. It can get busy on the weekends, but this Goblin knows what it's like to be slammed, so I wait patiently and be respectful. It's nice to see an unpretentious flavor forward cafe run by young women doing so well. Their Hazelnut lattes don't lack flavor and taste like you "don't get it". Their coffee tastes like you were finally invited to the dance. While the market has decided that a Goblin will pay at least $8 for a coffee now, I'll fight back my Goblin tears and say "WORTH IT, WORTH IT, YOU ARE WORTH IT!". I took 1 star off because no place is perfect. I'd also like to see patrons of West Seattle businesses do more as a community to keep these spaces clean and tidy.

We loved it so much that we visited twice, and both times the drinks were absolutely perfect (tried cappuccino and espresso with hot chocolate) The café has such a cozy, relaxing city vibe; I noticed many people upstairs reading, studying, and working. I'd love to come back someday and spend more time there, savoring their coffee to the fullest.

So they don't use fresh fruit in most of their offerings. My first visit here they made me a smoothie with mostly processed ingredients. The second time I ordered a juice. Only one other order ahead of me. After already standing there waiting for 10 minutes, the barista rudely stated "just so you know I'm still make their order (they ordered one coffee between two people! Get real!) and it's going to be another 10 minutes. I don't want you standing around here".... um excuse me? I'm minding my own business. What the actual eff? How rude!? Like why is that even appropriate to say?? I'm standing here waiting for my drink and haven't said anything. What else am I supposed to be doing? And for another 10 minutes!!? She told me to go sit down. Not in a kind way but actually incredibly dismissive. F*** this place, never coming back. read more
